Tree Eating Termites

Far East of the Novice Town that Yin belonged to lies large around of Tree Eating Termites crunching on the Dark Essence Trees. Yin was also here, as she just have arrived here, Yin looks at bunch of ants eating the precious trees. Without any words about anything, Yin started to hunt the Termites while looking at Tags above their heads.

[ Tree Eating Termites ] - Level: 7. HP: 700

[ Tree Eating Termite ] - Level: 8. HP: 800

....

These were much more harder than the Tree Spiders as they should be a hole new level of differences. It took 5 mins or so to kill one Tree Eating Termite with all she has. When she looked at her status and see her Talent Points.

[ Blade Dancer's Speed ] - Level: 0/5 | Description: Increase Movement Speed By 2%

Yin took the [ Blade Dancing ] and [ Blade Dancer's Speed ], leaving her no remaining Talent Points left. She tried them out, she felt the minor speed increase in her movements, with satisfaction, Yin picked a random Termite and tried to use her new found increase in speed. Using Yin's increase in speed, she manages to skillfully kill the Termites within a minute, as before, she didn't have the speed to do what she wanted fast.

The Other termites didn't look at the battle between its Kin and Yin. Even when it's kin is crying out of pain, they didn't even look at it, just eating and eating. As their Leader had commanded them or maybe they were programmed to ignore the Players even when one of them are attacked, they just keep doing what they were ordered to do.

[ You have leveled up to 4 ]

Along with her Level Up, the Termite she just killed dropped a pair of gauntlet, she finally gained a equipment that gave her Armor, as the Novice Equipments she has have no Defense on any of them, just clothes that gave nothing but their appearance and coverage. Yin looked at the Gauntlet for what benefits it can give her.

[ Tree Eating Termite Chitin Gauntlets ] - Quality: Grey. Type: Gauntlets. Requirements: None. Stats: Defense+10. Special Effects: None. Skill Crystal Slots: 0/2

"This is quite ok... I was hopping better, but I guess I have to be level 10 or more to get equipments of Green Quality I think..." Yin puts on the Gauntlet and dissects the Termite to gain, edible Meat, Grade 1 Chitin as they are from a level 7 or 8 Termites, and some other things that for other jobs such as Alchemist or something, not really bothering myself to name the items.

Yin waited for her Stamina to regenerate back full as during out of combat, Stamina Regenerates pretty fast, So Yin waited for 10 mins or so to regain all her stamina. Then she went back into fighting against more termites, she noticed her Daggers have Health Pools, it doesn't show any numerical indication, she wasn't sure how the Durability for every item last, or even show at certain points. Looking at her Dagger(s), that she uses to throw around, will bring up it's Durability Bar. Tree Spiders really do drop a lot of Daggers, hardly any other weapons...

.... 5 Hours Later.... (As I am not going to talk through process of Yin Killing Termites, it is pretty obvious of what people do when farming Termites for quests or exp.)

Yin Sits down on a branch, looking at the vast loot she gained during her 5 Hour Farming Termites. She is pretty exhausted when going 5 hour straight in farming Termites. She could last longer in real life, but in the game, her stats is low and she is like right now, a Novice trying continuously, without rest, hunt monsters, but got low stamina to even last less than a few hours.

Yin obtained 6 Random Loot, Money, and Materials from Termites and leveled up all the way to level 6. Along with the Boosts, she has about 90 Free Stat Points. Yin looked at her Stats, thinking on what she should put in her among her stats. She went through various process on what stats could benefit her the most.

After some trials, she decided to put 30 into Strength, 10 into Vitality, 11 into Intelligence, 20 into Agility, 5 into Endurance and Wisdom, and rest into Perception. And now her Stats look like this.

If wondering what is with the Apprentice and Novice Part in the Newly discovered Weapon Mastery Section? Well it tells how well you handle the weapon and helps increases Damage if using the Same Weapon with the weapon mastery skill. there are different levels, going from lowest to highest, Novice, Apprentice, Adept, Expert, Master, and lastly Grandmaster. the Damage increases from them, is 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, 75%, and 90% Damage Increase in both Magical and Physical damage.

Yin was pretty satisfied with her stats and felt that she became much more stronger than before, another step closer to her original strength. Looking at the time, it was about time for her to go back farming. But she remembered about her Newly Gotten Equipments that dropped from those termites and started to Appraise them.

[ Tree Eating Termite Chitin Armor ] - Rarity: Common. Type: Chest. Requirements: None. Stats: +20 Defense. Special Effects: None. Slots: 0/3

[ Tree Eating Termite Chitin Boots ] - Rarity: Common. Type: Chest. Requirements: None. Stats: +10 Defense. Special Effects: None. Slots: 0/2

(A/N: I may have not added the slots in the other chapters that showed equipments Status)

The Other Two were another same Gauntlets and Leggings, Yin is going to sell them into the Auction if anyone was willing to buy them, gaining some in-game money. As she is poor in this Game, Players of this game cannot convert actual money in real life into the game and can only convert in-game money into Real Life Money. Unless using real money to buy something from people is okay and allowed, except for converting Real Money into In-game money. Unless Trading with other players for In-game money with Real Money....

Oh, there is something a bit different on the equipment from any other games. Equipments are when not equipped, they look like normal items, such as Gauntlets or Gloves look like Modern Looking Gloves, Chest Armor looks like a T-Shirt and the such. When equipped they transform into something similar to its name, what it dropped from and materials it supposedly made from. This is was to help players carry items with them as they don't have Inventory and it'll be all cluttered in the bags.

Also to see what the items supposedly appearance be varied, as the appearance won't be the same for all Races as equipments do change their appearance according what the wearers race is, gender and size. For example for Ogres, when they wear [ Tree Eating Termite Chitin Armor ], it'll supposedly look like almost full body armor made up of leather and chitins, have less skin showing but does shows the leather parts of the armor. But when Yin wears it as she is female and Dark Elf. Her [ Tree Eating Termite Chitin Armor ] will look more figure revealing, having this slender and smooth armor with chitin here and there, with the Leather showing more than the Chitin armor pieces.

(I'm starting to show the MC status at the bottom of the chapter, even if there was little change or progress)

So putting these aside and looking at Yin as another 5 hours have passed, Yin is returning back to Novice Town for more supplies and sell the equipments she gained, as she got 8 more now. Only 3 of them were different, as they were the Helmet, Great-Sword and Spear. Yin is going to use the Spear as her side arm, or replace the dagger and wear the helmet. The Great-Sword was unneeded for her and rest would be sold off into the Auction.

Yin turned in the Quests she got, the Slime Quest she had were located where she was, the time she was farming off the Termites. She gained a 2 more quests which were surprisingly getting Chitin of any kind but lower the grade it is, the more she needs to get to complete them. She gave them all the chitin she has and in return for giving all the Chitin she has, She was able to pick a weapon and a armor, the 2 quests came from the same place but two different people. Yin picked an Arm Shield and War-Axe to replace the [ Rusty War-Axe ].

As for why she picked Shield? Well there are two or more types of shields and Shields Are supposedly Rare and hard drop from enemies. The Types of shields there are, Light, Heavy, Tower, and Arm Shields. Light Shields are like a normal shield, not too heavy or big, the defence are high, but not as Heavy Shields. As Heavy Shield, Large, A Bit Heavy, but gives a lot of Defense. Tower Shields are much larger than the Heavy Shields, and they really restrict the holder's mobility. For Arm Shields, they are Shields Attached to the arm, they are almost the same as Light Shields, but weaker defense.

When Using shields, there are chance for negating attacks, as long they don't break, as long they got Durability and Could Be repaired as long they got the materials for it. They're Upgradable but expensive in their own way and what kind of shield player want to shield to be and have. Shields also lose durability faster then weapons or armor, as they are used to block attacks, which those attacks would drop the Shield Durability, by a certain amount, depending the on how strong the attack was.

As for what shields would recommended to what kind of player. Light Shields are for those for who are like fast attacking knights, as Light Shields aren't too heavy and restrictive. Heavy Shields are large shields that could cover almost the holder's body, it's defense is about double or triple the amount of defense a Light Shield Has. For Tower Shields, they can cover more than the Holder's Body, it could also be used as a Barricade to take cover from flying attacks. As for Arm Shields, kinda self explanatory....

Well, Yin left the place as they are going to make the equipments for her, to reward her for giving them tons amount of Chitin. They'll be finished in a few hours. So Yin decided to get to the auction to waste some time, and put the unneeded items up to auction. After that, Yin went some places to resupply some consumables she needs. While she was getting supplies, she felt eyes spying on her, when she looked for the person spying on her, she could see the players unprofessionally stare at her, then thought of that man she met that called himself Guild Leader of Silver Fang. They were probably, obviously, spying on her.

Yin ignores them and just continued on what she was planning to do. When she got everything, getting a new larger bag and a Tier 1 Spatial Storage Ring that costed 20 Silver, as it can hold 10 different items and stack up to 50 items. Yin is going to use the Tier 1 Spatial Storage Ring for Materials so they won't cramp up the Bag. If wondering where Money Goes? Well the system provides a system for counting and storing Money so they won't burden or take any space for items, aka a Digital Bank Account Card.

Yin then leaves game and rest out of the game, taking her car to some restaurant to relax and fill up her empty stomach. Luckily it was Mid Day. With that, the Chapter Ends.
