Dark Elven Novice Town

Yin Looks at the Skills she got and the Talent Points she has, she wanted to save the points to unlock certain Talents within the Talent Trees. And within time, the Countdown was about to end. [ Thank you for those who decided to wait, Within 30 seconds, the Game will be released, in: 30... 15.... 10.... 5... 4.... 3.... 2.... 1..... 0 ] at Zero, Yin appeared in what it seemed to be a Elven Town, but the place was incredibly Dark, but for those who were Dark Elves, then the Place would a clear and not very dark and not hard to see in.

Yin could see Other players all around her as they were wearing the same things as her, Dark Elven Novice clothes, which revealed a lot of their skin and was pretty skin tight, like swimsuits, but it really gives them more flexibility. Search up Dark Elf clothes or something to give reference what they are wearing, as I am not going specifics and what they are wearing exactly.

Yin walked around the Novice Town for Dark Elves, looking for any quests, Yin has to talk to the Dark Elves if they needed of any assistance as there is no Quest Marks or Exclamation Marks above their heads that indicated that they can give quests. So Yin needs to ask them if they needed any help, she walked around the entire Village in the search for Quests, which she now got many of.

She obtained 5 Quests:

[ Subjugate 10 Tree Spiders ] - 0/10 Killed Tree Spiders. Rank: F. Reward: 10 Copper Coins

[ Gather 20 Spider Silk ] - 0/20 Collected Spider Silk. Rank: F. Reward: 15 Copper Coins, Skill Book [ Gather ]

[ Destroy 4 Spider Nest ] - 0/4 Spider Nests Destroyed. Rank: F+. Reward: 20 Copper Coins

[ Subjugate 10 Poison Slimes ] - 0/10 Killed Poison Slimes. Rank: F+. Reward: 20 Copper Coins

[ Gather 10 Tree Spider Fangs ] - 0/10 Collected Tree Spider Fangs. Rank: F. Reward: 20 Copper Coins.

They were pretty basic quests but she was Ok with it and left the Novice Town and into the Forest, which she already in, but it was a safe zone. When Yin looked for Tree Spiders, they from large trees whose branches that cover the skies. The Thickness of the Trees were really thick, their base or trunks were at the size of 4 largest Tree you could find right now, and combine them. The Dark Elves made their homes into such trees., expected for Elves, even though they are Dark Elves, they are still Elves.

Yin touched the tree to feel how rough it was, looking for spot she could lodge her foot in/on. After examination, she ran up to the tree, stuck her foot onto certain spots and soon brought herself up towards one of the closes branches. She quickly climbed up, reaching out her hand.

"Come on, come on, Yes!" Her Hand grips onto a branch that connected to the thicker branches, she lifted herself up and carefully, not trying to break the branch she was holding onto. Slowly getting on a stable large Branch, Yin found, her targets, Tree Spiders, that were staring at her with their blood red eyes. Yin looked at the bar(s) that were floating above their heads, showing their Name, Level, and HP.

The Tree Spiders were at Level 1 or Level 2, which was reasonable, due to them being around lower parts of the Trees and nearby the Novice Town. Yin was curious about something, like how those players who did not exercise or anything get up to this area. But she soon put that thought away as in the distance she could see Players trying to climb the tree in various ways, some were pretty funny to watch, some tried to Tree Climbing, or Stacking onto each other. The NPC were saw them shook their heads in disappointment, as Dark Elves, or even as Elves, they should know how to climb trees, watching Players being such a Noob at Tree Climbing. There even some NPCs who saw Yin climb the tree, it gave them hope for Ascenders, aka Players, that there could Talented Ascenders Who're Talented And Skilled. But putting those thoughts away, as she has enemies to fight.

Yin dashes to the spider and slashed her War-Axe into the Tree Spider's Head or Its Eyes, [ -53 ]. Yin dealt a critical damage due to the vital spot being the Head. The spider squealed in pain and tried to fight back, but Yin never gave it a chance and just finishing it to its death. a few coins appeared out of the nowhere next to the killed Tree Spider's Corpse.

Yin looked at the other Tree Spider's looking pretty angry at her and decided to all rush to her in all sides, but Yin ran towards one of them and jumped over it. the Tree Spider's all smashed into each other and were pretty stunned, Yin used this opportunity to attack and started to make a small slaughter fest.

When she killed all of them, she collected the Drop Coins and found a small item drop that glowed a bit of grey. She didn't looked into it and threw it into her Bag as Inventory is not a thing in the Game, Bags and Spatial Storage Tools replaces the Inventory System, for the Game to be more realistic and hard. Luckily the Item Drop Rate Weren't so low, oh the Bag she has is called Novice Bag and it is kinda like a Duffle Bag.

Coming back, Yin started to dissect the spiders and collect their materials as the game doesn't automatically dissect them for the players as the players must dissect them themselves for the materials, the corpse would last until it would respawn, which would depend on whose corpse it was.

Yin carefully dissects the spiders, grabbed their silk and fangs and left them there, leaving other materials behind, as the Dark Elves who gave her the quests told her that Tree Spider Hide are pretty useless as they are nothing special and not useful material as they don't give much defense as Leather Armor. These Hides could be used to make equipments for New Players, like her right now, but after Level 1 or 2, the equipments would then become useless.

Oh, as for levels, Yin never checked her Notifications but she gained a level, making her Level 1 now, and gained 15 Stat Points, as for Talent Points, Players get them every 10 Levels. Yin checks her surroundings if there was anyone around as she knows that people are greedy about equipments in games, especially at the start of the game. So Yin looks at the Item that dropped, which was a Dagger.

[ Tree Spider Fang Dagger ] - Rarity: Common. Type: Dagger. Requirements: None. Stats: Physical Damage+8. Special Effects: None.

When comparing it to [ Rusty War-Axe ], [ Tree Spider Fang Dagger ] has four more damage points. But Yin put it into her other hand, not her Main Dominate Hand as wanted her Main Hand hold something a bit heavy for the powerful hits as increased Damage Points do not make a difference you the wielder is a professional in wielding weapons. The Damage Increase on the weapons are to add upon the damage they made. So she put the Light Weighted Dagger onto her less dominate hand.

Then, Yin went into looking for more Spiders to kill as she needs to complete her quests which if she keeps doing this, she'll find a Spider Nest and complete four of her quests, leaving with the quest to kill the Poison Slime unfinished soon in the little future. As Yin goes around killing Tree Spiders and sooner or later Destroy their Nests she luckily finds.

In A Different Location close by Yin, are watching her kill Tree Spiders Effortlessly.

"Hey Boss, that Girl must be a Professional Hunter Mercenary in the real world. As Professional Hunter Mercenaries in the game are really powerful than those like us who aren't Hunter Mercenaries... " the one spoke stood by a Dark Elf that was so called his Boss.

"We should recurit her to our Guild, don't you think so?" The Boss look at his subordinate spoke to him. The Subordinate Nodded quickly and they started to go back hunting monsters that were on the ground floor. The group slowly get close to Yin's location, trying meet up with her as they gain experience and some wealth.

As for Yin, she already noticed the group looking at her and getting close. They are probably one of those people who'll try get close to her and get her to join their group or something. She ignored them and let them whatever they want and just continue do her quest and get the money. If wondering why quests don't give exp? Well getting exp will be too easy and usually A rank or higher quests give levels as reward, but no quest give exp, only killing monsters or NPCs give exp usually, sometimes they don't just because their level was lower than the killer's level.

Quest are able to give items and such, but no exp.

So Yin has to continuously kill monsters with the levels same as hers or higher if she wants to gain tons of Exp...

About 20 mins has passed and Yin has competed most of quests but the Slime Quest. When Yin decided to leave and the area and return to the Novice Town. She was stopped by the group that was watching her before, one of them came up to her and spoke. "Hello, I am Guild Leader of Silver Fangs, must've heard of me." The So called Guild Leader of Silver Fangs, smiled at Yin, trying to show off and get her to join his Guild, but Yin didn't follow his plans. "Silver Fangs? No, I never heard of them before?" Yin never looked at the Best Game Guilds List before and she knows what they are trying to do.

Also, the way he greeted to her was pretty weird I must say, off the bat introduces himself as a Guild Leader of some guild, and say if she had heard of them, or maybe him, the Guild Leader...

Without looking to see their reaction to her words, she instantly walked away from them and getting away from them as soon as possible.

Yin returned to the Novice Town. She went into the Home of the Novice Town's Mayor and turned in the Quest, as she got the Quest for Killing Tree Spiders from him. "Mayor, I have killed Tree Spiders you have requested for me to do." Yin talked to the Mayor who looked young, which is normal as any Elven Race never grow old and wrinkly, only being young to the end. Unless Half Elven, then they can become Old and Wrinkly sooner or later.

"Good Work Yin, now for your reward." The Mayor brought a bag of coins into Yin's hands. "Thank You." Yin thanked the Mayor while he replied to that with a smile and suddenly spoke, "You should know that I have a good feeling about you and willingly give you a task, if you're willing to do it?" The Mayor asks. Yin suddenly knew that this request of his will be a Quest for her, "I am willing to do what you ask for me!" Yin speaks with resolution in her voice.

The Mayors nods and smiles at the answer she gave him. "Far East of the Town, opposite direction of where Tree Spider's are located. There you'll find Tree Eating Termites, they continuously eat and destroy the trees that we use to live inside and use to make wood related items, even furnitures. Oh, if you think if the tree in this forest are normal and just abnormally large, than you're wrong. The Trees in this forest have a bit of Darkness Essence and Earth Essence in them which make them important to us Dark Elves. These Tree Eating Termites are eating our Important Trees!" The Mayor suddenly went scary and angery, but then coughed and returned back to his Calm state.

"Ahem, You must eliminate a hundred of these Tree Eating Termites, and if you ever killed additional 100 termites, I might upgrade your reward, but if you decided to kill more than 500 or more termites, I'll grant you something very special along with an another upgrade to your rewards!" Yin looked all excited to see what the reward for killing more than 500 termites. "I'll do it mayor! I shall eliminate those Tree Eating Termites who dared upon eating our Trees!"

The Mayor was happy at her response and decided to give another thing to Yin, "I love your response! I'll give another Request, but you don't have to do it if you're not confident to do it." As he said that Yin quickly told him off with Pride in her eyes, "Mayor there is nothing I cannot do! I am willing to go into any dangerous situation to complete any request that are given to me!" Yin tells him in a Military Manner.

"Great! At the far into the Tree Eating Termite area, there is a place filled with Dark Tree Eating Termites who evolved from Normal Tree Eating Termites because of eating a lot of our Darkness Wood. They supposedly more stronger than those Tree Eating Termites eating our tree in plain sight. Try Conquer the Place that inhabit the Dark Tree Eating Termites."

"Mayor I shall head out and do requests you have given me." Yin tells the Mayor. "Alright then. May our Goddess of Darkness bless your journey to success." With that, Yin left the buildings and went to the others quest givers of hers. Getting her rewards and more quests and then buying necessary items to bring with her.
