8 Evolution Points!

Ryver felt as though his speed of killing was still too slow. His strength was already enough to slice through their skulls, but his attack speed was still too slow to clear the zombies.

"Add one point agility." Ryver muttered.

[Agility +1 Evo points]

With his agility at three points, he felt his muscles were even more coordinated than before and his reaction speed which was inhuman previously had also improved greatly.

Stomping the head of three zombies crawling under the horde, trying to reach him. His axes were even quicker now. Their movements blurred like the blade of a machine. Fast but deadly, chopping through the zombies' skulls like they were made of butter. With just one point rise in his agility, Ryver's rate of killing the zombies improved exponentially.

But this was just hardly enough to deal with the horde of zombies. They kept climbing and using each other as stepping stones, claws striking at him in all directions, both above and below as he retreated even more, floor by floor.

"Add 1 more point to agility."

[Agility +1]

Suddenly, he felt a constraint he didn't know his body had released and his muscles didn't feel tight but they flowed smoothly like water now. He didn't feel like he was using his stamina to keep up with killing speed. But now he was using pure reaction speed to flow more easily like a grinding machine. His reaction was simply too monstrous now.

Ryver didn't need to retreat any longer, his killing speed was now equivalent to the replacement speed at which the zombies came at. He killed five zombies in a calculated slash but was replaced by five more. Immediately as soon as the next five replaced them, he killed them again and again. Suddenly Ryver and the zombies appeared to be in some kind of stalemate.

His computational ability had also increased drastically. He was now thinking almost twice as fast as he previously did.

Bang!

His leg turned into a blur as he side kicked a zombie, smashing its head against the railing, totally crushing its skull. His hands waved and his left axe slashed apart three skulls while the right crushed two zombies' skulls.

His muscles were now starting to get sore by the minute. "Add 1 point to vitality." Ryver gritted his teeth as he waves his hands while retreating.

[Vitality +1 ]

Another surge of that refreshing feeling hit him again, invigorating his body as he swiped and slashed the axe without slowing down.

Time went by and soon, thirty-minute had passed. Ryver who was just slightly familiar with the Axe seems to have gained even more understanding of the Axe. He managed to reduce air resistance and used as little strength as possible to pierce through the zombie's head.

Ryver was beginning to feel a wave of exhaustion overcome him, but then he saw the horde was starting to dwindle, through the stairs, only thirty to forty zombies were left. All of which took a few minutes to handle.

Finally, he was able to rest. He gazed at what he had done and Ryver smiled at his latest masterpiece. But from a spectator's point of view, the scene could only be described as carnage! But also a strange beauty. If one viewed the line of corpses from above, the pile of corpses strangely formed the shape of a rotten rose! Now, one could only imagine whether Ryver has done this intentionally or not!

From the first floor, Ryver had retreated all the way to the 12th floor without knowing it. A few less floors than he calculated. But what followed him were trails of corpses, dying the white stairway red with blood, bones, organs and brain fluid.

Ryver's body wasn't spared of blood either. His entire body was covered in zombie bodily fluids and bone shards.

He holstered his twin axe on his back and wiped the dark red bloodstains off his gas mask and sat on the stairs panting. From his calculations, he had taken care of about three hundred zombies within the hour. He dragged out a corpse from beneath the zombie corpses and removed the gun holster from its waist.

Ryver tightened it to his waist and then pulled out the handgun from within the holster. A smile unconsciously formed on his lips as he pulled and corked the weapon, checking it out.

"Glock 20." He whispered. Checking the cartridge, the 15 round magazine was complete. There was also a bullet within the chamber, making for 16 rounds. Ryver could tell the guard loved the gun dearly and serviced it regularly from the smooth movement of the slide but sadly, he hadn't had the chance to use it even now during the apocalypse. He most likely died trying to handle a situation of a zombie attacking someone, thinking it was someone who had gone mad from hopelessness due to the nuclear attack.

"Status." His hoarse voice echoed through the quiet stairway.

[Decakill ×27 <2.7 Evo points>]

[Ryver Mvcyger] | [Sex: male] [Age: 28] | [Strength: 2.0] | [Agility: 4.0] | [Vitality: 4.0] | [Evo Points: 0.64 +(5.86 + <2.7>)] [Evo points: 8. 2]

Finally, his hard work yielded the result he wanted. His Evo points had reached 8 points, he could finally distribute the points, raising his strength directly to 10 points. Which will be equal to the Lickers least strength stats. It just might be barely enough to deal with the creature, but to Ryver, it was enough to work with. It wasn't always strength that determines who emerges victorious in a battle.

With his vitality at 4 points which is four times a normal human, the glass wounds on his palm were starting to heal and the injuries had dried already.

Ryver walked over the mountain of corpses beneath his feet, as he headed to the ground floor. The ground floor is now completely empty, with only but large amounts of corpses lying around.

The radiation in the environment has increased drastically on the ground floor, creating a foggy dark-yellowish atmosphere. Ryver stood before a water dispenser installed on a wall. Pressing the button he bent down, placing himself under the running tap and began washing off the filth on his body and his gas mask.

If this had happened before the apocalypse, the security team would have him thrown out of the company immediately and he would likely never set foot within the company again.

But this wasn't the normal world, it's peaceful era ended an hour ago. This is the apocalypse, the guards aren't guards anymore but zombies.

All of a sudden, Ryver's actions froze and the water running over him stopped as he lifted his hands slowly, away from the button.

His eyes immediately locked onto the entrance of the company as though he could see through the toxic radiative fog. His expression extremely solemn as he withdrew his combat knife on his left and the Glock 20 hand gun on his right.

His breathing steadied, gazing at the entrance of the company that seem to be deserted with only burnt cars and corpses in view.

Bang!

Suddenly, a hideous monster climbed to the top of rumbled vehicle. Its beady eyes rolled around and then became fixated entirely on Ryver.

The monster has the shape of a rat, but it was extremely huge, standing at almost two meters, its body bulging with muscles but there was no fur in its body.

"Scan target."

"Type 1 Mutated Rat."

[Warning, the target is considered extremely dangerous, please retreat at least 1000 meters away from the target.]

Ryver's eyes twitched once he saw the word Type 1. This meant one of its attributes is at or above 10 points and its power level would be at least 15 to 20 units. The situation isn't looking too good for him at the moment.
