More Than.

Snow was so busy catching up in her own department to check on her husband or pick up his calls. It was until she retired for the day that she was able to ask about him from Patty.

"His said to head home without him ,he was meeting a client " delivered Patty.

"Then I will head home ,goodnight Patty " she said getting into her car.

She wondered what client would meet him that late but didn't mind ,instead rushed home to see her daughter.

Alia was happy to see her mother , hugging and kissing her face.

Alia had been prohibited from checking on Snow while she had stayed home resting.

"I missed hugging you mommy" said the little girl.

"And I missed you more " Snow held her .

After dinner she gave Alia a bath and tucked her into bed.

"Are you mad at Daddy ?" She suddenly asked .

"Huh, no am not . Why do you think so ?"

"His not home yet " said the little girl.

"Oh , he had a very important meeting with someone that's all" she explained.

"But Dad always came home late when mommy was mad at him....he would sneak into my room kiss me goodnight and then leave again"

Snow felt silent ,was she talking about her biological mother .

"Are you sure all that wasn't a dream ?" She joked.

Shaking her head the little girl we t on.

"Daddy was never home when mom was around and I always heard them argue when he did come to see me . It made me mad when he came only in the night to see me , I wanted to have breakfast with him, play and let him take me to achool too" she added.

"But Daddy is doing his best now , isn't he ?".

She nodded her small head in agreement.

"Yes and I like it so much " she blinked.

"Then give him a kiss tomorrow morning and thank him for loving you " Snow suggested.

"I will ".she yawned.

Snow kissed her forehead saying goodnight. Getting up she let go of her small warm hand.

"Mommy ?" She called.

"Yes honey ".

"My first mom left me ,will you too?" She muttered.

Snow rushed to her side again hugging her and calmly whispered in her ear.

"I love you so much to do that , your my precious little jewel ,I can never leave you "

Alia hugged her back.

"I love you mommy so much more than Daddy" she announced.

Snow chuckled filling her cheeks with kisses.

"And I love you more my angel . Now go to sleep "

After putting her back to bed ,she stepped out quietly and closed her door.

"Do you love her more than me ?" Divean asked.

Snow was startled to see her husband leaning against the wall next to his daughter's room.

"Your back ?" She breathed.

He slowly gazed up at her , "do you love her more than me ?".

Snow chuckled and turned walking away.

"What do you think?" She walked away.

He frowned .
