Vengeance Dressed In Lace

"You under arrest for embezzling company money and involvement in smuggling "

Snow frowned hearing what the stranger was saying. He had barged into her office and instantly started speaking.

"Excuse me sir but I think you have the wrong person" she let out.

"Please don't make this hard and come with me to the station," he said.

The other two men he had come with moved to where she was and helped her up as they cuffed her hands.

The cold cuffs bit into her wrist and she flinched.

Not listening to a word she was saying they dragged the pregnant Snow away amidst stares from her employees.

"Call my husband and lawyer," she told her secretary.

....

When they got her to the station they directly locked her up into a police cell and left.

"Excuse me, can I call my lawyer " she yelled.

"Don't think just because you are pregnant that we will bend the law for you. You're a big criminal so sit back and shut up ". Shouted back the guard at the door.

Snow was confused, how did she end up in such a situation?

Minutes turned into hours and no one came to see or check on her.

She kept pacing around as she prayed for her husband to come for her but to her dismay no one did.

Next day.....

"Did you hear about her?" one of the guards said.

"I did, I still can't believe she did all that just for money. You can't always trust such pretty faces " the other said.

Snow could hear them, she was pretending to be asleep but wasn't.

The other door opened, "Bring her out?" she heard.

They opened her cell and dragged her out her hands still cuffed.

"Tom, you here " Snow muttered tears forming in her eyes.

He ignored her and turned to the police officer next to him.

"So what's next?" he asked.

"Now you just have to sign some papers and let us do the rest " the other replied.

Tom smiled and nodded and with Snow watching they shook hands.

After he signed the papers provided, Snow was passed the pen to do the same.

"What is going on Tom, I don't understand " she cried.

"Just sign the papers Snow and we will both be free " he said.

"Free what do you mean, I thought you came here to get me out " she muttered.

He sighed moving to where she was.

"You're a criminal now and I can't be married to such a woman. The company can't be led by you either. So please sign those documents and I can be on my way ".

Snow backed away gazing up into his eyes as her tears flowed down.

"What do you mean Tom, by all this?".

He rubbed his forehead with a frown on his face.

"I forgot how dumb you were but it's alright let me simplify it" he bent to her ear, "I don't need you anymore, we have got what we want from you so it's time you disappear ". He whispered into her ear.

Snow blinked as she laughed.

"It's a joke right...your lying ".

"No am not honey but I will be a good husband to you one last time. I will give you today to think about it and when I get back tomorrow I expect them to be signed "

He turned and without looking back he left the room. No matter how she yelled and called to him, her husband didn't look back.

Snow got up trying to fight her way to follow him but was grabbed and taken back to her cell where she passed out.
