Lies come to Light

The Goblin stepped forward.

"Thank you for saving us!" He said with a bow.

"Oh Lord Lovo please move the boulder so we can set my people free."

"Oh right! Almost forgot I was out here for that. Is there a back entrance? Shouldn't you go there and let them know the one breaking the boulder isn't trying to kill them?"

The goblins face started to beat red slightly.

"Ah yes…I should do that. Stay right here and break the stone!"

Before Lovo could say anything back the goblin quickly sprinted away, still with arrow in hand.

"Ah whatever. Atlas! Take the mace from Bulwark and start smashing the boulder."

The skeleton complied and started to wail on the stone.

*Bam* *Bam* *Bam*

While this was happening Lovo looked over his skills and thought to himself.

'I still have this extra skill point. I was planning on saving it but I think leveling up my Bone Manipulation Craft skill to level 2. Hopefully it would be easier to craft armor and such for my skeletons. Although if this point in any skill automatically levels said skill up, I have lots of choices. The Blood Drain skill helps out a lot. My Vampiric Bite skill already does a lot of damage, even though I have to be in hitting distance, so I'm not worried about leveling that up. Although I wonder if my Raise Dead skill will increase automatically? If this system it like Aldarra then every 5 levels it will increase by half the amount round down. So since I can summon 5 skeletons now, at necromancer level 5 that number will increase by 2 and I can summon 7 skeletons. Damn! So at level 100 I can get an additional 50 skeletons! I should ask Karik what the max level is. Going back to Aldarra max level was 1,000. Maybe I should level up that to get more skeletons under my command! But. Then again using the point to level up my crafting skill will help. Should I focus on elites or hordes? Tough.'

'Let's work this out. From what I saw there was huge armies going to war. Tens of thousands all fighting at once. That was a war in the hundreds of thousands and possibly millions! I also don't have to command that many soldiers at once. I should focus on having a powerful elite army and rule over others that can command large armies. They won't be as skilled but their numbers should help. Yup that's what I should do!'

Scrolling down Lovo spent his Skill point on leveling up his Bone Manipulation Craft skill to level 2.

[Bone Manipulation Craft lv 2

-Able to craft weapons and armor out of bone.]

Subskill

[Flesh Clean: Costs 5 mana per 50 pounds of creature.

-on a dead creature that still has flesh able to use this skill to cleanly rip the flesh from the bones. Two piles will be made. One of flesh and one of bone.]

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Lovo said out loud. "That's gross as fuck. Useful but gross. I guess this subskill is supposed to help me with crafting? Being able to separate the bones from the flesh and able to craft with them? I have to text this out!"

Lovo walked over to the Alpha Wolfaconda and stretched his hand out.

"Flesh Clean!"

Red mist extends from his finger tips and flowed into the corpse. Entering through its mouth the body started to heave and shake. He could hear the ripping of flesh and snapping of bone. The bones inside the creature started to poke itself through its deceased hide. It resembled a porcupine. Every bone was nearly 6 inches long and forcefully pushed out of the body. All the bone shot out and landed in a pile a foot away from the body. The corpse almost seemed deflated as all it's bones were removed.

"Fuck. Ing. Gross. And also kinda cool? I mean this will work on deboning animals before needing to cook them for people. Guess it's handy."

By the time Lovo was finished going over his skills and leveling up others, Atlas managed to break the boulder down.

"Oh nice!"

As soon as the boulder collapsed a goblin stepped out. The female looking goblin with shortish brown hair had a spear in her hands pointing it at Atlas.

"Back beast! I know how to use this!"

Atlas ignored her and gave the mace back to Bulwark before picking up its sword. Lovo examined the goblin.

[Forest Goblin lv 1]

'She doesn't know what's she's doing.'

Lovo walked over and mentally ordered his skeletons back. He put his hands up and showed he was unarmed.

"Easy. I mean no harm. I helped one of your tribesman. I killed the beast that attacked you. He asked me break the rock to set you free."

"Liar! If this is true then what was is name?"

Lovo was speechless. I didn't even think to ask.

"Uh…I have no idea. He never gave it to me."

"See!" She pointed her spear at him. The spear blade was only an inch from his face. The skeletons instinctively drew their weapons trying to protect their master. Lovo mentally kept them at bay.

"You are a liar! You must be working with those beasts! You have them laying in wait for us to come out. You only wish to slaughter us and kill us."

He smiled at this.

"If I was really with them why am I talking to you now? Why wouldn't I have broke the boulder down at the started and let them eat you? "

The female goblin seemed flustered and stayed silent.

"DON'T HURT HIM! HE SAVED US!"

A voice called out from the back of the cave. A family goblin came running out with nearly a dozen of other goblins. Mainly women and children and one elderly goblin with a small crown made of wood.

"Listen to him Gega." The Elderly goblin spoke. To Lovo he sounded more like another elderly green creature he saw before. One that spoke backwards. It was kinda off putting heat this one speak normally.

"But elderly! Themis created us a Vampire that controls the undead! How can we trust this THING!?"

"Gega listen to Toma. He was saved by Lord Lovo. If he really wanted to kill us he would have killed Toma and turned him into a skeleton. Followed him here and slaughtered us all."

Gega sighed but held her spear out.

"Fine. But I'm going to be keeping an eye on you."

Lovo just smiled as she pointed the spear away but held it in her hands ready for anything.

The Elder walked pasted Lovo and lead his people back to their small village. Everyone seemed distance and defeated. All their hard work in building this place. Gone in an instant.

"Everyone listen to me" the Elder spoke. "Things are tough but we will prevail. We can try and get help from the Orcs and Dryads if we must. We will make it."

Hope filled the eyes of the goblins behind him. They were ready to rebuild. Before they said anything the Elder took two hand, and moved them to his mouth and blew. It's a strange whistle sound.

After a minute or two 3 more goblins showed up.

'These must be the other fighters I saw ditch Toma. I think there are less now?'

"Elder!" One cried out.

[Forest Goblin

Hunter lv 2]

'Huh. So they can get classes.'

"Thank the gods you are safe! We couldn't fend off those horrible beast!"

The three hunters circled the elder and begged for forgiveness for leaving.

"Oh it's alright. We are alive and that's what counts."

Lovo smiled knowing he might be ruining this touching moment.

"Oh Elder" he spoke sarcastically. "While I fought off those beast the Alpha of the group said that you broke their deal. That he was here to kill you all because of it. What happened?"

Lovo had an idea of what happened and wanted the Elder to spill the beans himself.

"What are you talking about" the Elder spoke back.

"Oh you know. Toma can attest to that. He was there and heard it also."

The Elder was red with anger! He instantly turned back to face Toma. He gave a look almost telling him if he spoke he would be attacked.

Toma looked at the Elder and walked towards Lovo.

"That is correct. While Lord Lovo was fighting the beasts the Alpha of the group spoke. He stated that he made a deal with us and that we broke our deal. Lord Lovo also pointed out that the Elder had all the woman and children in the cave and sealed even before they showered up! Explain your self Elder!"

Toma grabbed the sword from Lovo's hands and pointed at the Elder, he wasn't going to stop Toma.

"This can't be true!" One of the hunters spoke.

"Wait!" Cried out Gega. "Elder explain yourself! You came to me just moments before stating that the hunters were attacked and one made it with us. You ordered me and the rest into the cave with you! But there was no wounded hunter with us!"

She lowered her spear now facing the Elder!
