The day everyone had been waiting for had finally come. It was the biggest milestone for Xavier's team: to destroy Francesco's shipment to Mexico.
Their plan was to destroy the ship with minimal bloodshed. This was a major milestone because Francesco was a very thorough man, and his men were bound to be loyal to him. Every recruitment was handled by him, after which they were placed on an oxytocin dose that influenced loyalty by overstimulating the oxytocin receptors in their brain. They were like loyal, smart dogs because their cognitive function had been reduced to that level.
It would take very strong mental strength to ever break through that. Since this dose was formulated by Francesco himself, it wasn't something you could just formulate a counteract for, as these doses have physically irreversible effects. The antidote took about five years to formulate, and after unspeakable failed results, it was finally successful and safe to use.
