Town

Tia and Sora together walk to a building and knock on the door. A human old man, possibly 60 to 70 years old opens the door, and walks outside to greet them.

"We are currently looking for a place to stay the night. Is it possible to stay here?" Tia asks.

"Ah yes, of course. Of course." the old man says.

"Thank you for allowing us to stay here." Tia replies.

"Yes… Would you like anything to drink?" The old man asks.

Tia looks over to Sora. Sora notices, and quickly answers.

"Oh, if it's okay, do you have any water?"

The old man then nods to Tia.

"Then how about you, young girl?"

"I do not need liquid, thank you for asking though." Tia responds.

The old man then walks around the house out of view. Clattering of metal cups is heard, and he returns with two rusted metal mugs full of water.

"Here for you young boy, and for you too young girl" The old man says as he holds out both mugs.

Sora takes his drink and begins gulping it down without second thought. As Sora is drinking, Tia looks at the old man sideways.

"I did not ask for water, you can keep it." Tia says.

"Well it's getting a little dark out and I didn't want you to come back to me asking for water late at night, so just drink it now, right girl?" The old man says swiftly.

Sora looks over to the old man and pops out a quick smile.

"Hey, don't worry! I'm sure she just isn't too thirsty right now, ya know? Anyways, should we just sleep on your floor?"

"Tsk sleep wherever, kid." The old man spouts.

Sora is taken aback by the sudden change in the old man's tone, but is appreciative.

"Thank you sir!" Sora says politely.

The old man then walks away saying he is going to sleep at a friend's house.

Suddenly Tia slams the palm of her hand into Sora's stomach.

"BVGUUUUUUUUH"

Sora instantly regurgitates the water he drank, and takes a few steps back from Tia.

"Augh, w-what the heck was that for?!" Sora shouts at Tia.

"That wasn't just water in that mug" Tia responds.

Sora suddenly quiets down. He thinks for a few seconds and looks at Tia.

"What do you mean?" Sora asks.

"There were sleeping drugs in that water. I analyzed it with my micro vision".

Sora's face turns grim, and he gets close to Tia whispering.

"Do you think the old man did it?"

Tia nods and replies.

"Yes. There is nowhere else to stay though so just stay on guard while you sleep. For tonight I will not turn off my eyes while I sleep, so if I see anything I will tell you".

Sora puts up a quick thumbs up, and heads cautiously into the house. Tia follows behind and closes the door.
