Embark

After a little bit of exploring the inside of the spaceship, Tia decides that it would be the best idea to leave and see what's outside. This whole time, vegetation has covered the windows, so the outside world has been unknown.

"Tia, are you leaving already?" The boy asks

"Yes, I do not think it is a good idea for either of us to stay here. The sun is setting quickly." Tia replies.

With that, Tia walks over to the backside of the ship and begins to try and pull apart the exit doors. Noticing that Tia is struggling, the boy walks over and presses a small button that suddenly begins to glow. Suddenly the doors open and the boy and android are met with a stream of light flooding into the spacecraft.

After becoming accustomed to the light, the boy peers out the door and is met with a vast flatland valley of tall grass.

"Woah" The boy utters in amazement.

"I see a town on the horizon," Tia says.

"Wow, I know you're an android but that's some really impressive vision! Anyways, if we want any chance of survival we should head over there right?" the boy asks.

Tia nods in agreement.

After packing essential supplies and a bit of sealed rations, the duo begin their journey out to the city. Not long after, the sun begins to set even lower, limiting vision.

"It's a good thing I brought this flashlight, right?" the boy says while brandishing a small silver flashlight.

"Yes." Tia responds.

After a bit more of walking, Tia decides to ask a question.

"What is your name?"

"Oh, my name? Well even if I forgot a lot, I can totally remember that, it's Sora" the boy answers.

Since they are both walking for a while, Tia is able to get a more detailed look on Sora. It seems that he is a slim boy somewhere between the age of 16 and 19. His head is covered by overgrown black hair with a few golden highlights.

"Hey, so what should we do when we get to the town? We don't have any money or valuables so won't that be a problem for getting repairs on my spaceship?" Sora asks.

"It may pose a problem, but I am sure we can find a place to stay for the night. Also that spaceship did not look like it can be repaired to fly". Tia responds.

"Hey, you never know! There could be a master mechanic or something crazy in that town!" Sora exclaims excitedly.

They soon arrive at the city gates and take a peek inside. The city seems to be almost a ghost town with little to no people, just grass waving in the wind. There is no excitement or fun to be found in this city. Just dead silence.

Sora stares uncomfortably at the scene.

"This place seems a little… I'm not really sure, Tia"

Tia responds "We don't have time to go searching for any other towns. This will have to do"

To which Sora replies "Yeah I agree with you. Maybe we should ask some locals if we can stay the night with them."

Tia nods in agreement.
