Are you telling us that all of these are mechanical creations? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I might have have gone a little ham on this side project (-.-)' between the chapters being by far the shortest of anything I've translated so far, getting some really good results with my newer translation prompt, and getting caught up in wanting to read the story that felt like a great change of pace I ended up taking it pretty far. There are still some things that didn't translate properly -so far its been Final Fantasy stuff in the later portion of the translated chapters but I felt it was a really smooth read that was still fairly accurate to the raw text. I still haven't had much luck at getting the westernized names assigned to characters to remain consistent from chapter to chapter so unfortunately it still isn't where I want my translations to be but I am getting closer and closer. Please enjoy.

Chapter 56: Mechanic! Attack!

"Thump, thump, thump..."

Amidst the heavy and orderly footsteps, a group of fully armed T-800s, each with a belt of ammunition around their bodies, ten electro-grenades at their waists, and an exaggerated quad-barrel shotgun in hand, marched out from the warehouse.

Five in a row, ten in a column.

A total of fifty, perfectly aligned.

Atop the Yellow Sand City, the long-awaiting Daoist Master Qingyun, who was intensely curious about Zheng Mu's sudden rise as a mechanic, was the first to direct his attention to the orderly formation emerging from the warehouse.

He activated his [Eye of Illusion Break].

After Zheng Mu voluntarily granted some access rights, Qingyun immediately obtained some information about the T-800s.

[Name: Biorobotic Humanoid Battle Robot T-800]

[Type: Mechanical Creation (Mechanic Zheng Mu's Work)]

[Level: Blue Elite]

[Durability: 800/800]

[Attack Power: 40-800]

[Defense Power: 700]

"Hisss, these attributes..." Daoist Master Qingyun gasped in shock and awe.

The information he gathered this time was more comprehensive than when he had previously investigated the base vehicles. Not only did he discover the properties of these mechanical creations, but he also found the names of their abilities, even though their specific effects were not detailed.

However, this was enough to shock anyone.

In his eyes, Zheng Mu's mechanical creations, named T-800s, were not much weaker than ordinary Level 20 professionals.

The most crucial aspect was their number.

As he was investigating, another warehouse gate slowly lifted.

The heavy footsteps from before echoed once more, but this time, they were slightly different.

Amidst the rustling noises, a group of beast-shaped mechanical creations, crawling on the ground like ferocious wild animals, emerged from the warehouse.

There were exactly forty of them, all perfectly aligned.

[Name: Lickers]

[Type: Mechanical Creation (Mechanic Zheng Mu's Work)]

[Level: Blue Elite]

[Durability: 800/800]

[Attack Power: 160-480]

[Defense Power: 760]

Similarly at the Blue Elite level, their attributes differed slightly from the T-800s, with strengths and weaknesses.

However, from the names of their abilities alone, Daoist Master Qingyun sensed a dangerous aura emanating from these mechanical beasts.

General Qi, standing nearby, watched the mechanical creations emerging from Zheng Mu's base and his pupils shrank.

"Are these... are these all Zheng Mu's mechanical creations?"

He muttered to himself.

At the same time, similar questions unconsciously escaped from the mouths of the representatives of various major academies on the Flying Cloud Ships above.

"Quick! Investigate these mechanical creations' information for me!"

Saint Qing University's Vice Principal Liu Wei, who had murderous intentions, had a visibly gloomy expression.

In just a few minutes, an investigative report from Yellow Sand City was sent to all the Flying Cloud Ships.

Upon seeing the astonishing attributes of the T-800s and Lickers in the report, Liu Wei clenched his teeth.

He coldly instructed his secretary.

"I heard there's a small city in the southwest that still lacks a Saint Qing University liaison point, right? Send Professor Zhang Chengdong there."

The secretary silently nodded, and the other Saint Qing University staff members looked at the unconscious Zhang Chengdong with complicated expressions.

In their eyes, he was somewhat wronged to some extent.

After all, who could have imagined that the previously universally recognized mediocre Mechanic profession would shine so brightly in the hands of this young man named Zheng Mu?

Even with the limited information they had at the moment, it was clear that Zheng Mu could easily accumulate enough points to enter a top-tier university.

Their Saint Qing University could have had a student who pioneered the "Mechanic's Path," an honor that would have been worth boasting about.

However, due to this man's one impulsive decision, this honor was about to be taken by the Southwest Martial Arts University at a bargain.

Vice President Liu Wei looked at the screen, showing the group of mechanical creatures that had already begun marching into the desert.

He asked the secretary beside him, "How many points have those S-rank newcomers who signed up for our university this year accumulated?"

Upon hearing this, the secretary immediately operated the tablet computer.

"Huang Feng Mage San Luo, currently 861 points, ranked first."

"Alcoholic Swordsman Gu Ming, currently 612 points, ranked third."

"Cursed Witch Jiang Lanlan, currently 577 points, ranked eighth."

"Spirit Summoner Ge Feng, currently 560 points, ranked ninth."

Hearing this, Liu Wei's ominous premonition in his heart eased slightly.

The S-rank professional who ranked first, Huang Feng Mage San Luo, had already reached level 15 during the assessment, and his profession provided him with additional advantages in the desert environment.

It could be said that this kid had taken all the advantages.

"At this time, even if there are so many mechanical creatures under his command on the periphery, it's absolutely impossible to catch up..." Liu Wei murmured in his heart.

At the same time, General Qin, who was also paying attention to Zheng Mu's situation, clenched his fist in anger and slammed it onto the table in front of him after seeing the current ranking.

"Bang!"

This small movement caused the Flying Cloud Boat to sway slightly.

However, he still had a resentful and frustrated expression on his face, pointing at Zheng Mu on the screen who had begun to fight monsters and collect points.

He scolded He Guang behind him, "Is this the maturity and steadiness you talked about?"

"He clearly has the strength to take a huge lead in the early stages. Why must he linger on the outskirts of the desert? Didn't you explain to him that there would be additional rewards for ranking well?!"
