One day, as the alien realms open, divine-level monsters descend upon the world. As the professionals from various countries despair, Zheng Mu quietly activates his latest figurine. Zheng Mu: Well, have you ever heard of the Mechanical Heavenly Court? The whole world is dumbfounded. Are you telling us that all of these are mechanical creations? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- So I might have have gone a little ham on this side project (-.-)' between the chapters being by far the shortest of anything I've translated so far, getting some really good results with my newer translation prompt, and getting caught up in wanting to read the story that felt like a great change of pace I ended up taking it pretty far. There are still some things that didn't translate properly -so far its been Final Fantasy stuff in the later portion of the translated chapters but I felt it was a really smooth read that was still fairly accurate to the raw text. I still haven't had much luck at getting the westernized names assigned to characters to remain consistent from chapter to chapter so unfortunately it still isn't where I want my translations to be but I am getting closer and closer. Please enjoy.

Chapter 57: A Whirlwind of Points!

"Hahaha, finally, it's time to get moving! My big gun is starving!"

Cai Shengkun was eager to unleash his new set of purple-rarity equipment gifted by Zheng Mu, ready to make a name for himself in this showdown between the geniuses of Dragon Nation.

As soon as Zheng Mu ordered the mechanical creatures to move out, Cai Shengkun immediately mounted a Licker and charged into the wasteland like a battle-ready general.

"Aren't you going?" Leng Bingyue asked, puzzled as she looked at the motionless Zheng Mu.

He just shrugged, grinning slyly. "The one on top does the thinking. I'm the kind of person who likes to be on top."

Leng Bingyue scoffed and leaped onto the back of a Licker, heading in the opposite direction of Cai Shengkun.

Standing atop the base, Zheng Mu focused his thoughts, and a massive holographic blue screen appeared in front of him. Before setting off, he had swept through the trading center for ordinary white materials. His fleet of patrol hawks had grown from 50 to an astounding 500.

The 500 patrol hawks dispersed into the sky, creating a vast reconnaissance network that spanned at least 150 kilometers.

With a cup of fragrant hot coffee in hand, Zheng Mu enjoyed Tifa's excellent coffee-making skills. In just a few minutes, a series of red markers began to appear on the holographic blue screen, indicating the positions of monsters detected by the patrol hawks.

As the red monster markers emerged, Zheng Mu saw the yellow markers representing his own units on the screen move precisely toward the targets.

The T-800s were fast and tireless as mechanical creatures. They transformed into black shadows racing through the desert.

Behind a massive sand dune, several wolf-like monsters with sandy yellow bodies were feasting on an unrecognizable carcass.

Unbeknownst to them, a Terminator was already sprinting toward the other side of the sand dune. Even without seeing the monsters, the Terminator didn't hesitate to throw a shock grenade.

The grenade traced a beautiful arc, clearing the top of the sand dune and landing precisely among the monsters.

"Boom! Crack!"

The explosion triggered intense lightning, giving the monsters no chance to react. Their bodies stiffened as they howled in pain.

A figure slid down the sand dune, wielding a four-barreled shotgun with a resolute trigger pull.

"Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!"

With the gunfire silenced, four headless monster corpses lay on the yellow sand.

The Terminator that had completed the task quickly stood up and headed in another direction without looking back.

Zheng Mu paid no heed to the panel notifications. He took out the card that recorded his points, and his score was visibly increasing at a rapid pace.

1, 4, 8, 11, 19...

In just half an hour, Zheng Mu's score had already surpassed 100.

"Ah, life is as lonely as snow," he sighed, bored as he lounged on a rooftop chair. Then, he snapped his fingers.

At his side, Tifa bowed gracefully. "Master, what are your orders?"

Zheng Mu pointed at a wall in front of him. "Bring a projector over here, let's watch a movie to pass the time."

In the city of Yellow Sand, General Qi, who had been watching the mechanical creatures leave, became curious about the gigantic base that Zheng Mu had stayed behind at.

"He didn't go with them? Do those mechanical creatures not need to be controlled?"

It's no wonder he had this question.

In their view, if a Mechanic truly had no restrictions on their mechanical creature blueprints, their fighting style should be no different from that of a Summoner.

However, Summoners needed to keep their summoned creatures within a certain range.

In the blink of an eye, Zheng Mu's mechanical creatures had completely vanished from sight.

Suddenly, General Qi seemed to think of something, hesitated for a moment, and glanced at the old Taoist beside him.

"Senior Qingyun, since Zheng Mu seems to be free now, wouldn't it be alright for us to go and chat with him?"

Upon hearing this, the old Taoist's eyes narrowed, and he paused stroking his beard.

Clearly tempted.

...

"Bad news, Principal! Something terrible has happened!"

On a Feiyun Boat of Shengqing University, Principal Liu Weiqi, who had just rested not long ago, was suddenly awakened by a series of frantic knocks on the door.

The next moment, when he opened the door, he saw a worried-looking secretary holding a tablet computer.

"Principal, something's wrong with that Mechanic, he...he's not right!"

Not right?

Liu Weiqi's heart skipped a beat, and he snatched the tablet from the secretary's hand.

Then, to his horror, he saw that Zheng Mu, whose score had been zero, had surpassed 100 in less than an hour of rest.

Liu Weiqi felt his scalp tingle.

Without much thought, he rushed to the control room.

"Quick! Show me the footage of Mechanic Zheng Mu!"

The next moment, Zheng Mu's image appeared on the screen.

However, contrary to expectations, there was no sight of Zheng Mu leading his mechanical army on a killing spree, nor any scene of a group attacking a high-level monster.

In the image, Zheng Mu was leisurely lounging on a rooftop chair, holding a large cup of popcorn.

A movie played on a projector.

The secretary whispered, "That seems to be the recently released movie 'Frenzied Infiltration: Two Thousand Strikes'..."
