Section 147: The Irony of Kindness

As soon as we heard Joel's mother screech, we couldn't sit down. As soon as we entered the hotel, Peter and Maya were standing in front of the vacant bedroom where that cannibalistic Mr. Howard was locked up. On the edge of the door, was Joel's mother screeching at something in front of her.

Surely, we immediately checked what's inside the bedroom. It was a bloody scene that none of us would have anticipated. Howard was lying on top of Chrysant's lap, his head was stabbed with a scissor on the back of his head. Chryant's eyes are empty as a dead fish, presumably due to the shock. 

Tristan carried her sister panicked away from Howard, that's when he saw that there's a bite mark on her thighs. It's painful enough for her to continue bleeding from the bite. Several bite marks indicated that he bit hard enough as if he's feasting for her. Tristan was bewildered and enraged by this founding.
