Interested In

Alex sat back as she watched Nathan move around her place. He was now in the kitchen washing the dirty containers Cynthia had bought in her food. After he walked up to her, "Hungry, I had bought some packed food" he asked.

"Maybe later just had breakfast" she smiled.

"Okay," he sat down next to her.

"Did you come to check on me?" she asked.

"Yes, I was worried about you"

"My sister came over and called the doctor, I guess you were right I had to get it checked"

His eyes moved to her ankle, "Is it still painful"

"No anymore, the doctor gave me something for the pain and swelling so I will be fine in a few weeks"

"Who is going to take care of you during that time?" he asked.

"My sister will, although she won't be here all the time cause she has to work"

Nathan frowned, "Then who will offer assistance when she's not around"

"I will be fine" she smiled.

"I some think so, that's what you said last night but I just found you down a few minutes ago," he said.

She laughed, "that's because I lost my balance but after a few days I will be better to move around".

He was quiet like he was thinking about something then turned to her again.

"Should we get someone to help you during the time your sister is away"

Alex shook her head, "That won't be necessary, you have done more than enough already. I don't want my Dad to find out that am making his important shareholder do things for me"

Nathan gazed at her and then burst out into laughter, "Why would he mind or interfere in my business outside of work? And Alex I want to do this for you cause I care about you"

"That's the problem, why do you care about me when we just recently met?"

He breathed, "Am I not supposed to care for the woman am interested in, your father can't stop me even if he finds out cause this is none of his business and more important as long as you let me do it, I will"

"Interested in me?" she blinked.

"Mmm," he nodded meeting her gaze.

"Are you sure it's me you into or my sister, 'cause they always approach me to get close to her" she scoffed.

"I assure you, Alex, my eyes are locked on only you. I don't have any intention of approaching your sister" his smile towards her seemed to assure the words he had just said.

She slowly nodded as she turned away to her phone. He passed her some water which she took.

"You still in the same attire since last night isn't it uneasy on you now? Why do I help you have a bath?" he said and she coughed and choked on her water.
