Just a normal day... right?

Dan heard what Angela was saying and ran over. "I get that you're all excited, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone else for now. At least until I'm strong enough, you never know when an organisation will have leaks. I don't want the wrong kinds of people getting a hold of any of my information. You can tell anyone you want after that."

Angela put her hand over her mouth, "Sorry Dan, it's as you said, your ability is just so interesting, you know Reed Richards right? It's your choice in the end."

Tony seemed a little disappointed but he accepted Dan's decision too. "The kid's right, I was already a little paranoid at first, but what he brought up just increased that tenfold. Information leaks happen all the time, I experience them myself pretty frequently."

"Thank you Mr. Stark, there is something I'm curious about though. Have you ever considered being a hero? I know that it might not be your style, but wouldn't it be great for publicity? You have some of the world's most advanced technology at your fingertips. You may not have any super-cool powers, but a genius intellect like yours can go a long way to compensate for that."

Dan had always wondered why Stark never considered this, he had a great idea why now. He'd decided to play into the man's ego, he hoped that it would pay off. Tony seemed dismissive about the idea at first, but as he listened for a little longer, a small smile started to form. "I'll definitely give it some thought kid, I can't make any promises, but it may be a possibility in the very near future."

Dan was elated, my little plan worked, it was just a silly idea in my head at first, but I guess it wasn't so silly after all. He continued on with his workout, this time working his way through Level 1.2 of it.

Once he finally completed the workout, he lay down on the ground for about 30 seconds, and decided to do another round, mainly since he was recovering so quickly. After a few more rounds, the system eventually gave him a warning to stop. He took a 40 minute break this time, and once the system gave him the green light, he continued on. Every hour or two, he'd see his physical stats increase.

His Sapience also increased 2 times due to his increased focus. He could both feel and see himself losing weight, after all, his body was evolving and adapting at 160x speed, rather than just 8x. Dan finally stopped working out after around 6 hours. His body was aching, but he could feel it slowly fading away as time went by. Tony finished conducting his tests, before promising to improve the machines once Dan became too strong for the machines.

He noticed that his physical stats were starting to get close to 50 now, and Dan wondered how strong he'd be at that point. Angela drove the both of them back home, Stark first, and then Dan. It was around 5 PM by the time he entered his apartment after saying his goodbyes. Damn, I didn't get a photo with Tony Stark! Oh well, it's not the end of the world, I'll definitely be seeing him again soon. Dan decided to check out the Sling Ring sitting in his inventory.

He then facepalmed, Stupid Stupid Stupid! Why the hell did I give it to that guy? I could have easily hidden it, he couldn't have found it anyways. I just hope that they can't do anything with it, something tells me that Yao won't be too happy to hear about this. Not to mention me somehow getting a Sling Ring of my own. I'm in the doghouse, aren't I?

Dan continued to mutter to himself as he ascended the stairs, continuing to do so as he entered the communal area of his flat. "Dan? What's going on man? You're muttering to yourself an awful lot there."

Dan gave a start, and heard a few laughs. Andrei, his other flatmates, and a few friends were all there. "Oh, it was just a weird day, then again, there's never a normal day at The Front Line. I'll tell you all whenever I'm not so exhausted."

Andrei patted him on the back, "don't worry Dan, we all have weird or stressful days from time to time, however, I wouldn't be surprised if your days are a lot weirder than ours sometimes!"

"Thanks Andrei, I'll catch up with all of you later, I have a busy day tomorrow. I still have a lot to learn about the trade."

Dan was about to enter his apartment when he received a call, it was Alejandro. "Dan! Man am I glad to have someone pick up! Jewel & Powerhouse are about to bust an underground racket a few blocks North of our agency. We need camera men down here as soon as possible, I know you don't have much experience, but you're one of the few to actually pick up the phone. You can't miss this Dan!"

Dan froze in place, he had a decision to make, an important one at that. On one hand, I've always wanted to see those two in action, on the other hand, it could be extremely dangerous. As if in answer to his worries, Alejandro was quick to continue on. "Please Dan, don't worry, we'll be filming the whole thing from a nearby rooftop."

Dan let out a drawn-out sigh, "Alright Alejandro, I'll be there as soon as I can!"

"Thank you! You have no idea how much this means to me, I'll be sending Carlson down to pick you up, he'll know where to go! See you soon Dan, you won't regret this."

"See you soon Alejandro!"

Dan put down the phone, his heart was pumping now. He was both excited and nervous at the same time, finally! Some action, it came a lot sooner than I thought it would. Dan quickly got changed into some more suitable clothes, and ran towards the elevator.
