By the time they left the hotel restaurant, it was already 7:30 PM.

Walking side by side makes them look like the perfect couple. It doesn't look like they're having their first couple meal together.

Vivian smiles lovely. "Ready to go on the first date with me?"

She was a little nervous. This is her first time asking a man to be her boyfriend and her first time going on a real date with someone.

Ivan smiles, "More than ready."

"Let's go on our first date then."

Then the both of them walk out of the hotel restaurent.

"So? What do you feel like doing for our first date?" Vivian Wah asked.

Since it's the first date, she doesn't know what to do. Vivian Wah is not the type of person who dates a lot.

Everything's kind of new to her.

She was hoping Ivan could be the one to lead their date since he's much older than her and she was sure that he got more expression than her about dating.

"What about you? What do you want to do right now?"

Instead of answering her, Ivan returned the question back to her. He was not sure what to do either. He hasn't gone on a date for a long time since he broke up with his ex-girlfriend.

It had been more than twenty years since then. Plus, they dated for less than a week and go on a date less than half a day.

Since then, he has never dated someone.

Vivian Wah would never have thought that the question that she asked was going to come back to her.

"Why don't we go shopping for now?"

Since none of them don't know what they want to do, Vivian Wah ends up suggesting the first thing that comes to her head.

Nodding his head "Sure. Since we're meeting your families in two days, I need to buy new clothes to make me look good."

Vivian lets out a little chuckle and smiles a little. "You're already handsome. You don't need to dress up to meet them. They'll be happy as long as you're a man."

"You think so?"

Vivian smiles and says jokely. "Yes. That's why you're my boyfriend now."

Ivan stopped in his tracks as he looked down on Vivian's face. "Are you saying that if i'm not handsome, I won't be your boyfriend?"

Nodding her head lightly. "Maybe. Who wouldn't want to have a handsome boyfriend?"

Ivan frowned after hearing Vivian's answer.

'Is she going out with me because of my look? Not because she had little feelings for me? That means she'll ask any handsome man that she sees to be her boyfriend and take him home to meet her family?'

Seeing the change in Ivan's face, Vivian hurriedly tries to explain. "But of course you're the most handsome man I've ever seen. That's why you first came to mind when I lied to my mom that I already had a boyfriend. That's why I ended up asking you to be my boyfriend."

Ivan sighed.

Without saying anything, he walked up to his car.

'That came out wrong isn't it. I don't know what's wrong with me. I shouldn't have opened my mouth and talked about looks.'

Since they were heading at the same location, Vivian Wah leaves her car at the hotel parking lot. She gets in Ivan's car without asking him to ride with Ivan.

Ivan didn't say anything. He drove off with Vivian sitting in the passenger seat next to him.

Inside the car was dead silent.

Vivian couldn't handle the silence any longer. She turned her head to look at the man driving. "Are you mad at me?"

"Why would I be mad at you?"

"I don't know. That's why I asked. Maybe because of something I said?!"

Ivan let out a little chuckle. "I'm not mad. You let weird things in that smart head of yours too much."

"I see. If you say so."

"I really am not mad."

"Ok."

It doesn't take long for them to reach the shopping mall.

The shopping mall was full of people.

VIivan wrapped her hand around Ivan's arm, she smiles lovely "Let's go."

Ivan's body goes stiff when Vivian Wah wrapped her hand around Ivan's arm.

His arms are big and firmer than Vivian Wah thought it would be.

He's tall, handsome, and his body is well built. Vivian Wah was sure that Ivan had countless exes.

But, Vivian Wah couldn't care less because she asked Ivan to be her boyfriend for a show only. For her, they're just pretending to be a couple.

She knew that she didn't make herself clear from the beginning. She hopes that he won't take it for real and thinks that they're really dating.

Noticing that the man next to her body went stiff, Vivian Wah smiled innocently "don't you think we look more like a couple head over heels walking like this?"

Nodding his head lightly. "True."

Then they walked into the shopping mall arm in arm just like any other couples doing.

"Where do you want to go first?"

Since there's lots of different types of stores inside the shopping mall, Vivian Wah doesn't know where to go first.

"Let's go to the clothes store first since we're here for clothes."

Right, he mentioned that he wanted to buy new clothes. I shouldn't have asked.

"Cool!"

They head straight to the men's clothes store.

"Welcome. How may I help you today?" A salesman greeted them politely.

"We're here for him. Can you show us what you got?"

"Right this way madam."

Vivian Wah was taken aback when the salesman called him madam. This is her first time being called madam.

She's still young and it's weird hearing people call her madam out of blue.

The salesman took them to the vip room and a few minutes later snacks, coffee, and tea were served.

Not long after that, clothes were brought into the room.

Vivian sat on the soft sofa while Vian was trying on the clothes that Vivian picked out for him.

Since they're there to shop for Ivan, Vivian makes sure he tries on a few before they decide to buy them.

Vivian was surprised that Ivan looked good in all of the clothes that he tried on.

He's tall, handsome. Everything that he puts on makes him look like a model.

To put it in an easy way, he's way more handsome than the best model out there.

He's in his mid thirties but he looks like he's in his late twenties. With his handsomeness, no one will believe that he's that old!

"We'll take all the clothes that my boyfriend tried on. Send them to my place."

'So they were boyfriend and girlfriend.'

"I apologize for calling you madam earlier. I thought you guys were husband and wife since you guys look so perfect together just like a married couple."

Ivan was about to decline to buy all of the clothes that he tried on, but held his tongue after hearing the salesman's words.

Since he likes what he heard, Ivan smiles at the salesman. "Please add shoes, neckties, etc.. to match all the clothes that I tried on."

The salesman was overflowing with excitement when he heard Vivian's and Ivan's words. The clothes here cost more than ten thousand dollars a piece. And they're going to buy a bunch at once.

He is thankful to them for buying so many clothes at the same time. His boss is going to give him a big bonus this year for sure with how much clothes he sold.

"I'll have everything delivered to your place right away. How will you make your payment?"

"Full."

Full? They must be someone who's super right. Not many people who come shopping here make a full payment.

Vivian took out her card and handed it to the salesman.

Ivan was not that happy to see Vivian pay for his clothes. But he doesn't want to make her feel uncomfortable by declining her.

But still, that's too much. He's a man and he's supposed to buy stuff for her, not the other way.

Sitting next to her "I'm a man, aren't I? Why are you buying me clothes when I'm the one who should be buying you clothes?"

His pride was hurt by her actions.

Vivian can see that the look on Ivan's face doesn't look happy.

Vivian knew that he could afford the clothes by looking at the famous designer clothes he wore anytime she saw him, but since he's helping her to be her fake boyfriend, she feels like it's her responsibility to do something for him in return.

Vivian wrapped her arms around Ivan's arm while leaning her head on Ivan's shoulder. "What's wrong with spoiling my own boyfriend? If you're unhappy, why don't you buy me ice cream after this?"

The weight in his heart disappears after seeing the woman next to him with a beautiful innocent face.

For some reason, Ivan couldn't even stay mad at her for a few more minutes longer.

Sigh!

"Alright!"

After the salesman returned and handed Vivian's card, they left the store to go buy ice cream that Vivian wanted.

Since it's a famous ice cream store, many people wait in line to buy it.

"I need to use the restroom, can you wait here after you order your ice cream?"

"Sure. Don't take too long."

"Here. I'll be right back." Handing his card and his car key to Vivian.

Vivian looked up at Ivan in confusion. "Why a car key?"

"Help me keep it. I don't want it to fall in the bathroom."

"Mmm!" Vivian took his card since it's his treat and put his car key in her bag"

Ivan left, leaving Vivian standing in the line alone.

Not long after Ivan left, it was Vivian Wah's turn to order.

"What would you like to order?" A counter person asked.

He's a young handsome man who's in his very early twenties. He smiles sweetly at the woman in front of him.

Most of the customers are women or couples. Most of them are women.

Meeting Vivian makes him can't take his eyes off her. He met countless beautiful women but this is his first time meeting someone who's at another level of beauty.

"One chocolate flavor and one mint flavor."

Vivian couldn't care less about how handsome men are. She's not the type of person who falls or likes someone easily.

"That'll be 46.79$."

After paying and receiving the ice cream, Vivian took a seat at the corner.

Just when Vivian was enjoying her ice cream, a young man approached her "Miss, how's your ice cream?"

It was the young man who had taken Vivian's order.

Vivian Wah looked up "not bad."

"I'm glad. Can you give me your number? So when the new flavor comes, I'll let you know."

The smile on his face never fades.

All the other women are jealous when they notice that she's the one who the young man goes to talk to.

They wish that the young man can come and talk to them too.

"That's very nice of you, but I'll have to decline about giving out my number to strangers."

This is his first time getting rejected by a woman. This never happened before. He was sure that it's not hard to get her number since no one dislikes someone as handsome as him.

He was shocked when Vivian turned him down.

He felt embarrassed and lost for words. His cheeks turned red "I apologize for bothering you. Please enjoy your food."

Vivian Wah nods her head lightly then turns to take another spoonful of her ice cream.

The young handsome man went back to his work as fast as he could.

Just thinking about it, he, himself, felt like a pervert. Anyone would think that he's some kind of dirty jerk.

He regretted his actions. He shouldn't have done what he did. Now he knows that not everyone falls for handsome me.

Vivian looked at the watch on her wrist. It has been more than thirty minutes since Ivan left for the bathroom.

Since Ivan hasn't come back in a long time, Vivian thought that his stomach must've hurt a lot.

She feels bad for not buying him anything while waiting for him during his shift.

Vivian understands Ivan since she, herself, gets a stomach ache anytime she eats after skipping lunch or dinner.
