Suppression Tomb

It was night time.

The city was like a beacon during the night. It was bright, it was big, and it had presence.

Spring-Autumn ran around outside the city. He left Rainmist back at home.

Outside the city was a grassy field. Formerly, there would be roads connecting the city to other cities and areas. However, things had changed. All these roads that were paved asphalts had been replaced and covered by grass.

It was hard to see as the only source of light was the city behind him. However, his eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness.

The more he distanced himself away from the city, the higher the grass grew. At a certain point the grass was almost taller than his waist.

"Food? Where are you~" Spring-Autumn hummed.

His cloak transformed into a hoe that he used to clear the taller grass.

Moo!

"A cow?" Spring-Autumn's eyes lit up.

[Bullet Time]

His body quickly shuttled through the grass and he reached a clearing.

"What the fuck? That's not a cow…"

There was a creature feasting on the tall grass. It had the head and tail of a bull and body of a man.

[Minotaur]

"Moo?" The minotaur turned its head to Spring-Autumn with its mouth full of grass. When its sight finally landed on Spring-Autumn, its eye lit up with bloodlust.

"Moo!" It rushed to Spring-Autumn who was just a passerby. It was holding an axe in hand.

Spring-Autumn changed his cloak into a sword and parried the blow.

"Hey man, I wasn't going to eat you. No need to do this." He said jokingly to the minotaur that was more than twice his size.

"It would be weird to eat something that has the body of a man."

The minotaur didn't have much intellect. After having its blow parried, it continued to attack relentlessly.

Every blow was easily parried. Spring-Autumn was able to gauge his new strength through this. Finally, the minotaur became impatient and jumped with its huge body.

[Bullet Time]

Spring-Autumn followed the minotaur's jump at a faster speed. His foot landed on one of the minotaur's arms and used it as a take off point.

His grey sword transformed into a big blade and with a single chop, the minotaur was decapitated.

[Bullet Time] ended and the minotaur's body fell down from the sky with a huge thud. Its decapitated head flew a large distance away while the body let out a fountain of blood from the decapitated part.

Spring-Autumn's blade transformed back into a cloak that gently lowered him from the air. He kicked the minotaur's head away like a soccer ball and walked away.

"Why is it so hard to find food? Those wall people get it practically delivered to them and I have to do this…" Spring-Autumn said bitterly.

He continued to look around the area. After going so far away from the city that the grass was the height of his shoulders, he heard a sound.

Ruffle, ruffle.

It was similar to the sound of the wind. Spring-Autumn began to walk in the direction of the sound.

Once again, he reached a clearing. However, it was different this time. Wind was gathering in one place like a tornado.

The "wind" was visible and had a blue tinge. The radius of the blue tornado continued to increase as it swirled.

Spring-Autumn reached his hand out towards the "wind".

[Mana]

A blue window popped up above it. He could feel a prickly sensation on his skin. It was not a bad feeling. He could feel the mana seeping into his skin.

After having contact with physical mana for the first time, a whole new world opened up. The world became more vivid, more colorful. The darkness surrounding disappeared for a moment as the world lit up for Spring-Autumn.

He smiled and said, "Mana is always present,"

He could feel the mana in the air. He finally realized that it was what was making the air feel "thick". It was the major difference that was introduced to this world after the [Initiation] completed.

The mana tornado continued to gather becoming larger and larger. After an unknown amount of time, it began to shrink and condense.

Finally, it condensed into a portal.

A sword flew out from the portal and hovered above.

Spring-Autumn watched this with his mouth opened. He could understand more things just from this scene alone.

It was possible that every dungeon would come with an item equally powerful as his cloak.

From perceiving mana to knowing how dungeons were formed, this much information was hurting Spring-Autumn's small brain.

A shadow began to peek its head out of the portal.

[Minotaur]

Spring-Autumn had a sudden sense of deja vu.

The head of this minotaur was already many times bigger than the minotaur that he just killed not long ago. It was a gigantic creature.

The head slipped back into the portal and a huge arm came out slowly.

Spring-Autumn started to laugh and entered [Bullet Time]

"Don't mind if I do,"

He jumped on the huge arm of the minotaur and ran towards the [Suppression Sword].

Just like that time with the tentacle, the minotaur was unable to react. He easily reached the sword and made a grab for it.

At the last moment before his hand reached the handle, a huge pressure fell on him. His mind blurred and it was as if the weight of the world was on him.

He felt his organs crushing and blood began to leak out of the orifices of his face. His nose was bloody, his eyes were crying tears of blood, and his mouth was leaking out blood.

Unable to resist anymore, Spring-Autumn made a run for it. He ran as far away from the dungeon as possible and stopped at a place he deemed safe.

His body was positioned in all fours. Knees on the ground, hands on the ground, coughing out blood nonstop.

"What the fuck was that sword?"

Spring-Autumn never imagined that trying to snatch a sword would be so difficult. After calming down, he began to focus his mind.

[One as Before]

His body began to revert back to a previous state without injuries. In just a few seconds, his body was unscatched again.
