Guardian

Zeus was sitting on the lab when he heard a huge boom, he was shaken from his sleep and looked over. He saw a bunch of purple gas and spread out his observation Haki, he grinned and flashed in front of an abandoned sled.

Zeus picked up the blue apple that was inside and threw it into the air as a cloud swooped by and swallowed it before shooting back into the air. He looked at the lab and recalled a few events before flashing into the building.

Zeus walked around with Persephone and Bonney sitting on his shoulders. Bonney looked around and said "What was that?" Zeus said "H2S Gas. It's a weapon that will encase someone in stone. The scientist who made it is Pinkie's guy."

Persephone purred and said "The target?" Zeus grinned and nodded before hearing a boom and flashing in the direction of the noise.

Zeus appeared in front of Caesar who was on the ground, he looked down and saw the heart next to Caesar. Zeus picked it up and left immediately, as soon as Zeus left, Law appeared and looked in the direction Zeus left in before dragging Caesar away.

Zeus reappeared in a room.

He looked at Monet who was about to press a button and squeezed the heart in his hand, causing Monet to drop to the ground. Zeus walked over and crouched in from of her as he said "Is this really what you want?"

Monet looked up and said "Who are you?" Zeus picked up her chin and looked into her eyes as he said "Is this really what you want? To blow yourself up and die? The blast won't even cover the island, you're dying for nothing. Speaking of which.."

He held up a heart and said "I just saved you life once and you're trying to end it again?" Monet looked at her heart before looking at Zeus and saying "What do you mean?" Zeus chuckled and said "A certain Scientist sucked in too much fumes and thought this heart was the marine Vice-Admiral's heart. I have reasons to believe that this is, in fact, not the Vice-Admiral's heart but a certain snow harpy's."

Zeus tossed the heart in his hands, Monet watched it go up and down, before Zeus smiled and said "How about you work for me instead? I will never tell you to kill yourself for me, AND if you are threatened I will rush over as fast as I can. Plus as an added bonus, I'll even go get your sister."

Zeus paused before saying "Though, I need her to wear a seastone bracelet on at all times." Monet's face turned ugly and Zeus smiled as he said "Wouldn't it be nice if she could grow up?" Monet trembled and looked at Zeus incredibly, Zeus smiled and said "Negate her fruit and she'll start growing again, maybe even faster than before. Even if not I can change her age at will."

He received a nice peck from Bonney's beak, right in his neck.

Zeus didn't even flinch and looked at Monet, who was struggling internally. Zeus helped her up and said "If you're afraid of Pinkie coming after you, don't be. He will be finished soon anyway. Plus I already saved you twice, you owe me." Zeus spun on his heel and slowly walked away tossing the heart behind him at Monet, who caught it and looked at Zeus' back.

Zeus was about to leave the door frame and sighed in his heart, looks like he couldn't get her. He thought to himself, maybe he should've used a hard tactic? He was about to flash away when he heard Monet's voice say "Can you really fix Sugar?" Zeus turned around and said "It should be possible. I don't see why it wouldn't work."

Monet nodded and said "I will join.." she paused before adding "BUT If you can't fix Sugar I will leave." Zeus waved and said "If I can't fix her, I'll escort you out myself." Monet smiled slightly and threw back her heart.

Zeus caught it before saying "I like you. Let's go." Zeus flashed and Monet melted, both of them disappearing from the room.

Zeus and Monet reappeared in the air above Punk Hazard. Monet had turned into snow and rested on Zeus' cloak, Persephone was sleeping with all her limbs spread out on his head and Bonney was in the crook of Zeus' neck snoring.

Zeus stepped on the air and reappeared over the crew and the marine's celebration. Zeus sat cross-legged in the air and watched as the crew left. He didn't move and focused on Smoker and the marines.

Smoker got the G-5 marines to bring the kids to the boats and was about to leave himself, when he had his head slammed into the snow. Smoker turned his head and saw Doflamingo.

Zeus flashed and disappeared from the sky.

Doflamingo said "Where are the Straw Hats and Law?" Smoker sneered and said "I don't know, Joker. Why don't you look for them yourself?" Doflamingo sneered and said "You know too much."

Suddenly

A lightning bolt landed next to Doflamingo and an Ice sculpture formed on the other side of him.

Zeus held a black dragon spear at Doflamingo's neck and Aokiji held an ice sword at the same place. Zeus changed his voice and said "Watch it Joker. I would cut your losses and scram if I were you." Doflamingo paused and turned his head to see a blank mask before saying "Kronos?"

Zeus smiled and said "Nice to meet you. Scram for me now. I'll do you a professional curtesy of not killing you when we first meet." Doflamingo laughed before turning at Aokiji and jumping back into the air and flying away.

Zeus dispelled his spear and looked at Aokiji, thinking to himself.

Smoker sat up and said "Thanks." Aokiji said "No problem. Though it looks like I wasn't needed." Smoker and Aokiji looked at Zeus, who chuckled and said "Long time no see."

Smoker sighed and Zeus took off his mask with a smile. Aokiji said "You're Kronos? I didn't expect that." Zeus grinned and said "I'm pretty amazing eh?" Aokiji rolled his eyes and Smoker said "Why did you start an underworld empire?"

Zeus winked and smirked as he said "That's a secret Smokey..." he lost his playful expression and said "Missed you Smokey." Smoker was silent before nodding. Zeus smiled and helped Smoker up before patting his shoulders and grinning "How's Hina?"

Smoker grit his teeth and punched at Zeus saying "You little bastard! You haven't changed at all!" Zeus ducked and laughed as he said "Is that how you treat your matchmaker?" he hovered in the air and crossed his arms while sniffing "Hmph! Last time I help you with finding a woman."

Smoker felt a vein bulge on his forehead and he started grinding his teeth as he glared at Zeus, who was laughing and dodging.

Smoker gave up and said "She's fine. Still in New Marineford." Zeus was surprised and said "She didn't go to G-5 with you?" Smoker shook his head and Zeus chuckled as he said "A good woman for you Smokey. Both doing their own things, makes it less awkward."

Smoker grit his teeth and said "What's that supposed to mean?" Zeus and Aokiji said at the same time "You're boring." before looking at each other and chuckling. Smoker clenched his fists and threw punches at Aokiji and Zeus at the same time, snapping "You're fucking boring!" Zeus and Aokiji chuckled before dodging.

After a while

Smoker had stopped and Zeus said "I'll see you later Smokey. Don't get yourself killed!" Smoker waved and left, Zeus watched him go before turning to Aokiji and grinning "What to make a deal with me?"

Aokiji gave him a bland look and said "What." Zeus rested his elbow on Aokiji's shoulder and said "How's about you work for me until I eviscerate the red puppy."

Aokiji looked at Zeus and said amusedly "You want me to work for an Underworld organization?" Zeus rubbed his hands together like a greedy merchant and said shamelessly "Yup!" Persephone and Bonney nearly collapsed in shame, Monet was also stunned, recruiting an admiral? Only her new boss would have the balls to do that. She didn't know if this was a good thing or a bad thing though.

Zeus looked at Aokiji with expectation and Aokiji sighed before saying "What do I have to do?" Zeus froze and said in disbelief "YOU AGREED?!" The girls almost spit out blood and Aokiji was stunned, Zeus continued "I don't know, I didn't think I would get this far..." The girls hid in his cloak and Aokiji rubbed his forehead, starting to regret agreeing..

Zeus coughed and said "You have 3 options. You can be my last assassin, you can be my Island protector, or you can be my top info guy. The first option is self-explanatory, you will be a contract killer. The second one is the best for you I think, all you have to do is laze around my island and protect it if there ever is an attack, pirates, government, or otherwise. The last one is just roaming the world sending me information about different Underworld groups' activities. Maybe I will tell you to follow a specific group for a while before changing it, it depends on the circumstances."

Aokiji rubbed his chin and said "What island?" Zeus smiled and said "Abyss Island." he puffed his chest and said proudly "Made it myself, thank you very much!" Aokiji chuckled and said "So basically just do nothing?" Zeus shook his finger and said "You have to show up for meetings and give me a report every single time. You look to see if I have any spies snooping around and relay it back to me. Other than that you can do whatever you want. Obviously if the island is under attack then you will help out..."

Zeus snapped his fingers and said "AND you get a cool mask for yourself!" The girls nearly dropped dead hearing this and Aokiji rubbed his chin saying "A cool mask eh..." The girls had black lines on their foreheads now, what was this development?

Aokiji mumbled "It better be cool.." Zeus grinned and whistled, a cloud flew down and Zeus ripped a mask out of the cloud before showing it to Aokiji. It was a Hyottoko mask. Aokiji held the mask and was silent for a moment before closing his eyes and saying "I love it." the girls directly fainted this time.

Zeus hopped on the cloud and put his mask back on as he said "Let's gooooo!" Kuzan chuckled and put the mask on his face before jumping on the cloud. Zeus flew away and headed directly for Abyss Island, tell Kuzan about all the different districts and attractions there.

A few days later

Zeus was sitting in the conference room and pointed at Monet behind him saying "She will be in Void for now." before giving Monet a bird mask, a book, and a snail. Zeus pointed at Kuzan and said "This is our Island guardian for now, until a certain situation occurs and he leaves." Kuzan waved and the rest nodded.

Zeus waved and said "That's all. Croc, stay." the rest left and only Croc and Zeus were left in the room.. Well Persephone and Bonney were sleeping on Zeus' shoulder and head.

Crocodile said "They guaranteed 3, but anymore within 2 months is impossible for their work force." Zeus rubbed his chin and said "Then 3 for now. Tell them I want a discount on the rest and as fast as possible. If they can do 7 more within 6 months, I'll directly give them the design."

Crocodile nodded and left.

Zeus rubbed his chin and muttered "It's almost time.." he walked out of the conference room and onto the edge of the mountain. He looked down at the city and noticed that it was considerably larger now. Zeus smiled and nodded before rubbing his chin and mumbling "I don't know how long it'll take them to get there.." he closed his eyes and felt the lightning marks still moving. He flashed into the air and sat on a cloud before disappearing on the horizon.
