What's Hidden 1

Appearing on the wooden wall were intricate paw prints on the ground. Airon supposed that the animals in the forest smelled the food in the house and approached this place but were stopped by the thick logs.

For that reason, they left certain traces on the ground before leaving, but this was not entirely bad considering their situation.

After securing the most dangerous spot, Airon signaled to Daryl and the others to approach. He signaled each of them to position themselves on both sides of the wooden house, took out a small dagger, and began scratching the wall with the blade to cut the wood.

With a small sound, he began imitating a baby canine while increasing the intensity of the scratches on the wall. With this, Airon was certain that as long as there were people in the room, one of them would come out to check.

As expected, a few seconds later, there was a muffled noise in the room, and then, with the sound of the latch, the wooden door opened from the inside.

Airon squatted on the ground, but his movements were unaffected at all. He took a few steps slightly to the side and then reached the back of the wooden house. His hands continued to move, and he kept scratching the wood in a hurry with his knife, while listening to the footsteps of the man who had come out to check.

"For fuck's sake, damn beast, it's so damn annoying! I want to see if you can still scream when I shoot you in the head!"

When the big man came out of the cabin, he unconsciously looked to the other side and found nothing wrong, so he walked towards where Airon was.

The man quickly walked to the corner of the wall with a gun in his hand, only to find that there was no animal in front of him. But from deeper in the bushes, the same sound was heard, causing the man to smile coldly.

"Hey, hey, damn beast, I've decided, you're tomorrow morning's breakfast!"

The man muttered something under his breath, but his steps were very light. He walked all the way to the corner of the wooden house, and then the upper part of his body slowly leaned forward, but what he saw when he turned his head made his eyes widen in surprise.

A human figure had appeared right in front of him. At the same time that the man peeked out, Airon also made his move, but this time he decided not to kill his enemy. With a swift attack, he directly struck the enemy's neck.

Due to the blow that instantly blocked his breathing, the scared man weakly raised his weapon, resisting the urge to seek help.

However, since Airon attacked the enemy's trachea and possibly broke it, he naturally considered that it wouldn't be enough. Therefore, before his enemy could raise the weapon in his hand, Airon had already drawn his dagger and attacked twice at the hand that was about to aim at him.

The severe pain made the man's hand holding the weapon unconsciously loosen its grip. Then, Airon twisted his body and reached out his hand to grab the barrel of the enemy's weapon, preventing it from firing or making any sound.

The man, whose trachea was broken, couldn't speak, make a sound, or lower his head too much. All he felt was a sharp pain in his hand, and then he felt the strength in his right hand slowly returning.

Click!

But only one click, and then something cold stuck to his ear, followed by a loud blast that ruptured his eardrum, causing him to writhe in pain on the ground.

Ahhhhh!

Up until now, the man lying on the ground suddenly understood the intentions of the other party, but the only thing he could do was draw the concealed weapon from his jacket and immediately raise his left hand. However, Airon's foot pressed down on the man's hand, preventing the bullets from reaching him.

The shots rang out one after another, and the eight bullets were fired into the grass not far away.

Then, the man heard the sound of clicks and the barrel of the gun, indicating that he was out of ammunition.

Airon smiled coldly, applying strong pressure with his hand that tightly held the neck of his enemy.

The man felt as if his head had turned into an inflated balloon about to burst. The blood could no longer supply oxygen to his brain, and he immediately lost consciousness.

His only uninjured hand, pressed by his attacker's foot, prevented him from finding any kind of help, but he was powerless against the absolute domination.

The large man finally panicked, a pleading look on his face, and forced out a few hoarse syllables with the last bit of air in his lungs.

Seeing the big man finally open his mouth, Airon released his right hand, which was holding his wrist, and drew the dagger from his waist, driving it into the side of his head.

Airon watched as the man on the ground slowly regained focus in his eyes, staring wide-eyed ahead.

"Keep screaming!"

Crack!

Ahhhhhh!

A piercing scream echoed through the forest, the sound penetrating even inside the cabin.

Taking the knife from the ground, Airon gripped it tightly and, in one swift motion, plunged it into his enemy's heart.

Airon then began making long cuts on the man's skin and moved him to the side, then ran to the other end of the wooden house.

There, Daryl and the others looked at him in astonishment. It was the first time they had seen Airon cold-bloodedly kill someone without consulting anyone. This made many people realize that they were not prepared to kill in this manner.

Daryl suddenly felt uneasy. When he first met Airon, they had fought each other. Looking at him now, they had both saved many lives and had each other's backs in the toughest moments.

"Quick! Come with me!"

Airon waved his hand, signaling them to jump over the hip-high fence. Knowing that time was running out, at the same time, there was finally movement inside the wooden house.

There was a sound of chaotic footsteps, and with the click of the gun's lock, several figures rushed out of the wooden house.

This group of people raised their weapons attentively and cautiously exited the wooden house. The leader made a gesture, and the team immediately split into two groups, one on the left and one on the right, walking along the outer wall of the wooden house on both sides.

Just after turning the corner, the team leader found the large man lying on the ground not far away. He did not approach immediately but continued to carefully observe the surroundings, approaching the man step by step.

When they finally reached the large man, the two people from the other side also emerged from the corner.

"What did you find?"

"Nothing."

The man leading the team nodded upon hearing the words, then lowered his head and began checking the condition of the big man.

"This is..."
