Do you remember what I taught you?

The woman didn't seem to be very frightened, but her voice sounded tired and strange.

Naturally, the group looked at the woman who appeared out of nowhere, and Merle also narrowed his eyes and looked around before focusing back on this woman.

This person's clothes seemed not to have been changed for a long time, they were completely black and there was even a layer of oily sheen on their knees and other places on their body.

She had a machete at her waist, but no other weapons were seen besides that.

The entire face was hidden under the hood, which gave the other party a sense of mystery.

Merle did not lower his weapon, and took a few steps forward to be closer to the woman, then moved his wrist, the mouth of the gun swung, and continued to aim at the woman.

"Who are you?"

The woman opened her hands, indicating that she had no weapons, and then explained slowly: "I was just passing through, when you arrived I was resting in the woods, then I woke up when you started killing all the walkers, but because there were so many people I didn't want to expose myself until I knew if they were good or bad..."

After speaking, she gestured, removed her hood, and a mud-covered face appeared in front of everyone, and the woman's face could still be seen through the speckled mud stains.

"Have you been bitten?"

Merle's first concern is safety, as he now leads a group of people, which makes him, who is unruly, unable to avoid paying attention to these things from now on.

The woman shook her head and pointed to the wound on her face as she spoke: "These wounds are not from walkers, I caused them when I tried to climb a tree."

Merle narrowed his eyes, thought for a moment, and then shook the barrel of his gun: "Drop the weapon from your waist, Hanna, go and check this woman, do you remember what I taught you?"

Hanna nodded, pulled out her small-caliber gun from her waist and gestured to the woman to go to the back of the modified RV with her.

Upon seeing the little girl walking towards her, the woman was obviously a little surprised. How old is this girl? Is the other side asking her to be examined by this little one?

Capturing the weak expression in the woman's eyes, Hanna's small face was serious, showing a cold tone: "What's wrong? Haven't you seen a little girl survive?"

"No, I just didn't expect there to be a little girl in this group of men." The woman said directly.

"Take off your clothes, I want to check if there are any bite marks on your body." The woman did not immediately take off her clothes, looked back unconsciously, and lowered her voice when she saw no one following her: "Did you join them by force? Did these people do anything strange to you?"

Hanna's face became confused and her voice raised, as if she didn't understand what this lost woman was saying. "Take it off quickly, I won't say it a third time!"

"Okay, don't get angry..."

Upon seeing the reaction of little Hanna, the woman quickly clasped her hands and began to slowly take off her clothes. Her movements were very slow, as she unbuttoned her mouth, she continued talking.

"My name is Marlett, what's your name?"

"Hurry up, we don't have time!"

Hanna lifted her head and looked at the woman. Doing stupid things could end very badly.

The woman called Marlett quickly took off the clothes that covered her body and then slowly turned around so that the girl could clearly see every part of her body.

There were thick scars on Marlett's back and arms. The dense scars adhered to the skin, making Hanna feel goosebumps all over her body. She was a little stunned for a moment, but listening to Marlett's faint words awakened her.

"These wounds were caused by a bad group of people. They would beat me when I went out and wouldn't feed me properly. They would beat me when they were angry. Sometimes they would beat me just for fun. I couldn't take it anymore, so I left that place."

After speaking, Marlett's eyes gradually showed a touch of supplication, and her voice was a bit sad.

"That group I belonged to beat me a lot and I worked hard to escape. I wanted to kill all those bastards, but I think I'm pregnant. I don't know what I'll do with my life, but when I decide, I want to be as far away from those people as possible. Can you help me now and I can assure you that I won't bother you anymore?"

Hanna was hesitant, Marlett was about to go further in her story and say something, but she heard the other party speak.

"I know what you're afraid of, but I want to give you some very important advice, it's better that you do what you can. There are no bad people in the group I travel with. I can't tell you much, but I can guarantee that you will never regret it if you stay with us for a few more hours. Well, I won't say more, you can put on your clothes."

After speaking, Hanna lowered her weapon and approached the woman as if she had let her guard down, she watched her put on her clothes slowly and then led her to the other people.

Marlett clasped her hands tightly. She looked at the girl who was turned away from her. Countless images passed through her mind. Reason told her that she should now grab her from behind and threaten her to let her go. But looking at a girl with a strong and slender back, she hesitated again.

Just as she was hesitating, little Hanna in front suddenly turned her head and smiled at her, then whispered, "My name is Hanna, don't mind the grumpy old man, he's a good man."

This smile softened Marlett's heart, and she sighed secretly. What else does it matter now? If she can follow these well-dressed people, that would be good, but if they are bad people, she will try to escape.

Thinking of this, Marlett felt much calmer and her steps forward became much firmer.

However, what she did not notice was that when little Hanna turned her head, there was a small-caliber gun hidden in her left hand that was inside her jacket, so if Marlertt made any kind of move, she would not hesitate to shoot.

...

At this moment, there was already a circle of people around the modified RV, except for two people watching, the rest of the people were eating.

Merle looked at the two people returning, greeted them, and the little girl jumped towards him, lowered her head, and said some words: "Hey, are you really pregnant?"

Marlett nodded, her eyes scanning these people, and she ignored the slightly hostile eyes of others, and finally met the rough-looking man who had the eyes of a bad man.

"If..."

"Okay, Hanna told me about your situation, but I don't trust you much, but considering that you're pregnant..."

The soldier who was eating suddenly spoke up, with a hint of resistance in his tone: "Merle, we shouldn't accept her, right?"

Merle didn't respond, but looked at the person who spoke. This was an old man, he was in Guillermo's group.

"I'll handle it, don't you trust me?" The old man didn't want his words to be understood that way so he said, "No, no, I just think it's too reckless to do this. After all, we don't know this person well. What if she is...?"

"It's fine, don't interrupt me." Merle waved his hand and looked at Marlett.

"Listen, you have two options. First, you can leave, but you have to wait until tomorrow when we leave. Second, tell us some information about this area, and I can provide you with some supplies. I'll decide what to do tomorrow morning."

"Old man!"

Hanna had said something nice about Marlett, but Merle still had no intention of letting the other party stay, so he couldn't help but shout, but Merle's eyes stopped her.

She angrily stomped the ground, stepped aside, and buried herself in her food.

Just as little Hanna sat down, a voice with a strange tone sounded, "Haha, leave her to me, I'll take care of her!"
