TWD: A New Beginning From the End of the World

"I only know what will happen in this world." One day like any other in the madness inside Arion's head, he wakes up and learns he is in the world of The Walking Dead. After a heavy sleep, he discovers he doesn't have depersonalization disorder and all that stuff he felt was just his inner self warning that something wasn't right. What does he do to survive? In a world plagued by walkers and danger everywhere. His power? He knows the plot well enough to know the ending. Because he was one of the many fans who finished watching it. Read Arion Darcy's story to see how he survives and takes advantage of his knowledge according to his abilities. At least, you should know that this is not the first world he wakes up in. You can read more chapters in my P_treon: SrCuervo. Note: This is a sort of prequel to my latest fanfiction Infinite Worlds: Attack On Titan. The MC doesn't know much about his other lives, but that won't stop him from living a new one. Read the auxiliary chapter before reading the story, thanks for your support.

At the Military Base (2)

A day ago, a military base south of Washington DC.

In a secluded building on the military base, there were about ninety-five soldiers and about sixty civilians who kept quiet. They had all been fine until recently when an internal infection broke out, due to the chaos the base was overrun by walkers and the few that could take shelter in this building.

They had supplies, but the food was slowly running low even if they controlled what everyone ate. Expressions of depression and anxiety ran across the faces of each of these people.

Colonel Ben Miller hung in there with his men and they were able to contact a military base, but the news was not good at all and by the words of those soldiers they did not have enough fuel to save them.

Many have suggested to leave the base and take some armored vehicles outside or get to a helicopter, there were even C5 planes at the base ready to fly without any problem.

But these suggestions were strongly rejected by Colonel Ben Miller, so everyone slowly ran out of answers waiting for a miracle to happen. Then, at the suggestion of one man, they began to broadcast distress signals for someone who was in the military and had a chance to save them.

Zz... This is Colonel Ben Miller, for any nearby military base that can hear our transmission, we need your help!"

"Zz... We suffered an internal infection, the base was overrun by walkers and we were unable to contain the infection. Right now, possibly my attempts to communicate with any of the bases that contacted me recently are minuscule, but I implore your help!"

"Zz... We are about two hundred people, half of us are soldiers and we have run out of ammunition. We are hiding in a warehouse, the base is infested with walkers and it is impossible for us to do anything even if we want to."

"Zz..."

After talking into the radio, Ben Miller went back to it over and over again for a few hours every day. A soldier next to him named Jeremy Piven scratched his head and said, "That won't work and we all know it, we simply must leave and we all know how..."

"Jeremy, we all know how we can come off worse if you want to take on hundreds of walkers with a few mags, you won't even run ten yards."

Jeremy held his head and yelled, "I fucking know that!"

"We can't leave all these civilians behind, we still have food and we can wait for someone to respond."

"Eric, are you also deciding that we're going to be rescued?"

Eric Bana looked at Jeremy and kept silent, he wasn't sure about those words so he didn't say anything. Their situation was too bad, and they would most likely starve to death.

They were all discussing what was the only thing they could do in this situation, so they were simply analyzing over and over again the possibilities ahead of them.

A man named Todd Bloom was sitting on the ground with a gun in his hand, when he turned his head he saw all these people who were silent. Their faces, seeing their faces with no will to live was something that filled Todd with a strange feeling.

How did they all end up in this situation?

It was truly unbelievable that a virus would wipe out all life around the country, an infection that could not be contained no matter how hard they tried. The few that survived were in military bases, more were surviving hardly outside alongside walkers and the danger of being bitten at any moment.

"It doesn't matter, the answer is in our hands all this time..."

When they all heard Todd Bloom's words, they turned to raise him and then saw that he had a gun in his hand. They all knew what was next, lots of blood and brains flying to the sides.

Eric, who was closest to Todd, slowly walked over to him and said, "Hey, put the gun down Todd.... You don't want to do this, you're just confused and that's all..."

"You don't get it Eric, we either die now while we have the chance or we do it later at the hands of those infected and I think we have the answer..." Todd had no intention of holding back, he had made his decision.

"If you shoot now you will attract the attention of the infected, if you want to die you better do something fucking else..." Jeremy Piven couldn't help but raise his voice a little.

"I'm so sorry..."

Just as Ben Miller was about to get up and intervene, the sound of the radio beeped and then a voice clear enough for all to hear rang out in the increasingly noisy room.

"Zz... This is Corporal Raul Mendez, repeat your situation."

The crowd that had stood up heard that voice coming from the radio, and everyone abruptly stopped talking. As they approached Ben, everyone frantically surrounded him, but fortunately, Ben picked up the radio, just as Raul's voice had stopped, he immediately reported his situation.

"Zz... Corporal Mendez, This is Ben Miller and I am currently trapped at a military base just off Port Royal, Virginia, 22535, can you contact us by air or ground?" Colonel Ben Miller sounded anxious, he would rather that voice contact was on the air.

Seeing that no response was heard, Ben Miller said again, "Zz.... We have pilots, there are helicopters and planes to transport us, we just need help to get us safely out of this place."

"Zz... I'm currently on a mission, I'll tell my commander and then we'll go rescue you. Don't worry, it won't take more than 48 hours."

"Zz... We appreciate it Corporal, we will be eternally grateful." Ben said with a comforting smile, they had now been put in touch with possible help, so they all stopped their movements.

"Do you think that's real?" Asked Jeremy, completely ignoring Todd who was about to give himself a shot.

"We'll just have to trust, they'll be coming in at least two days so we have to be ready and do what we've been doing.... Wait."

...

At this point, Airon had visualized the base and was focusing on the opening, where they will evidently have to take out the walkers inside the base.

Three Ch-47 helicopters slowly descended from the sky towards the central base, close enough to the ground so that the walkers were slowly attracted by the sound and the large figures in the sky.

Neither helicopter moved, evidently waiting for the third helicopter to approach to begin attracting the attention of all the walkers.

In a short time, not hundreds, but thousands of walkers were approaching the helicopters that had made no other move. For normal people the action of these helicopters was strange, but for the people of Airon this was necessary to take all the walkers away.

"Zz... AA-1 and 2 Squadron in position."

"Zz... Proceed to move slowly towards the broken area. You have three minutes to find some vehicles and seal the entrance so no other walkers invade the base."

"Zz... Copy that Commander, we'll be at that location once we secure the survivors."

"Now!"
