The final side story
The No 4 hero Angela the Angelic hero
Angela walks on stage as she was announced
"Hey it's only been a few years and I'm already No 4. You think it got something to do with Elliott," Angela says to the readers
"Well, how interesting. Only two years and she came up this high in the charts," The Announcer says
"What do you expect it's me we're talking about me here. Plus I don't slack like the ones who are lower than me," Angela says
"Hey I don't slack I work just as hard as you," Mirko says in fury
"Mirko the bunny girl. Listen your like what the number 16 hero god you've done worst than me when first join I mean at least I was higher than you," Angela says
"Okay let's bring out our next hero-" The announcer was interrupted
Mirko got even closer to the stage
"I bet you only do this for the popularity all your gonna do is leave when people don't like you so why don't you do it now," Mirko says and Angela walks to the edge of the stage and squats towards Mirko
"Bunny girl listens up good and well and I want all of you to do the same. I never became the hero for fame, the money, or to even protect people. I just became a pro hero cause I was bored in life and decided why not? Once I became a hero I gave myself a goal to become the highest Afro Asian pro hero out there but once I achieved my goal I would quit being a pro hero and make a comeback revealing my identity," Angela says and shocks everyone
"Your joking right," Mirko says
"Next week I will stop being a pro hero and go back to America for personal purposes," Angela says and jumps off the stage
"Congrats bunny girl you wanted me to leave well now I'm gonna leave for now," Angela says and walks away
"You heard it right here folks pro hero Angela has promised to reveal her identity once she comes back from America. What a plot twist!!!" The news reporter says
"Um anyway why don't we continue with our charts the No 3 hero is Hawks the winged hero," The Announcer says and Angela already changed into her normal clothes to watch the rest
Emily texts her best buddy Niko
"Hey Nikki listen pick me up after it's all we need to talk about stuff," Emily texts him
"Sure what time exactly," Niko says
"1:23," Emily texts back
Later in the day
Emily got picked up in a black taxi and saw Niko inside
"Hey Emily you needed to talk," Niko says
Niko Robinson: Quirk Techno. He can control technology any way he wants to which is why he is an inventor and of course a DJ.
"Niko your smart right?" Emily asks
"Obviously," Niko says
"Well is there a way you can remember this next year on like March 1st at like noon send me a gift that includes a USB drive and gloves can be any color but these gloves need to-" Emily was interrupted
"Okay, so you want to learn how to control illusion better with the gloves?" Niko asks
"Yeah but how did you know-" Niko interrupted
"Emily you have complained about the way illusion is especially since Shadow acts weird when you have illusion, also when it's something related to your quirk your eyes go purple," Niko responds
"Yeah this guy is the definition of perfect too bad he's dating a guy," Emily says to the audience
"No need to throw that out there," Niko says
"Also how is TJ I heard he misses his dad so much," Emily says in a baby voice
"I miss both Terrance and TJ but I'm gonna leave soon once I can get Elliott to mind his business," Niko says
"Niko I understand that Elliott for some reason is after you but come on you need to take a break," Emily says
"People who work hard get good rewards," Niko responds and finally looks away from his phone and at Emily
"But what if you work so hard you'll be too tired to even accept your award," Emily says and pokes his nose
Niko really thinks about her words
"What do you not work hard?" Niko asks
"You can say that. Or at least I don't like to work hard," Emily says flicking off a tiny piece of lint on his shoulder
"Why should I listen to you or do all of this for you?" Niko asks looking back at his phone
"Because I can convince Elliott to leave you alone," Emily says
"And how would you do that?" Niko asks and Emily starts poking him
"Well cause I know Elliott and how he has a small crush on me I can use that to my advantage just somehow convince him to leave you alone," Emily says and winks at him
"Don't you have a boyfriend? Why are you talking like this?" Niko asks
"Well because if I talk like this it can make it easier for me to stop loving him," Emily says
"Hmm sounds personal I don't care," Niko says
"Your rude you know that," Emily says
"Unless your my family don't expect me to be all nice and kind. I'm rude because when I stay focused and stay tough to the whole world I'm strong while I can show a little bit of me to the people I care about… the people I love," Niko says and Emily looks at him with admiration
" Ha your such an idiot for keeping your true self a secret from others I mean I've seen you and your wild," Emily says laughing at him
"Step in my shoes for one day and I'd bet you'd like it," Niko says smiling at her and that actually makes her blush
"Why are you gay?" Emily asks
"I'm not gay I'm Bi," Niko says
"But still your crazy for thinking that being like you is fun. I'd rather be a nerd than anything like you," Emily says
"Aren't you already a nerd?" Niko says and Emily rolled her
"Your stops here," Niko says
"Aw your so sweet you deserve a kiss from me," Emily says and gets close to him
"If you think flirting with other guys will help you when it comes to breaking up with someone. It won't work trust me I tried it when I was pissed off with Terrance and all it did was make me realize that I'm head over heels for him," Niko says and blushes
"I understand when you love someone you can't even flirt with anyone else because you care about how the other will feel…. But you also can't flirt with anyone else because it won't feel the same as when your with them," Emily says and gets out of the car
Emily was walking to her apartment door
"Hey, Emily!!" Niko calls out to her
Emily turns around and faces him
"If you truly love someone then you'd protect them even if it means leaving them cause well I left my family to protect them from Elliott," Niko says with a smile
Emily smiles back
"You know you're hotter when you smile," Emily says and the car zooms away right after she said those words
Emily walks inside
"Keigo I really do love you but to protect you I must leave you," Emily says and walks inside
