the end part 3

Finished with his tasks at Hogwarts, Alex brought Susan back to the island. During the times, the elves had already emptied the Manor, leaving only an empty shell, the building itself.

"What do you want me to do with the Manor?" Alex Asks his mate, looking over her as she started to sort among the large number of items brought over.

Turning back to him, she looked at him for a second, while thinking.

"I don't want Amelia to be left with anything to return," Susan said with a determinate look.

"What about the Manor proper?" Alex asked her, who know what he meant by that particular question.

"We don't need a new building, but can you keep it part as they are? It represents the history of my family; I would hate to see it destroyed." Responded Susan, looking at him pleadingly.

"Hmm, leave it to me!" Alex said back, gently smiling at her while taking her in a soft hug.

Susan momently snuggles, sighing in bliss, head against his chest, and eyes closed. After a few second of shared intimacy, she moves her head back do leave a small peck on his lips and return to sorting the content of the Manor spread around on the ground outside their house.

Travelling to the Manor place, through Tinny, Alex take a good look at the Bones Manor. From Susan words, the building was around 800 years old. When it was constructed, the lord of the time to keep things simple, thus, the Manor exterior was made of plain grey stones, without ornaments.

Its stood on three floors, for a total height of fourteen meters, counting the roof, and long of ten meters and wide of eight. Made of a simple rectangular form, high windows were littering it facade, bringing a large amount of natural light inside.

As the family had always had a small number of family members, it was the only building they owned, and large enough for all of them to live in.

The surrounding was made of simple lawn, contained in the enclosure wall around the 400 square meters of land. The rest of the estate was made of the surrounding wood and wildland.

~~~
Entering the place, after retrieving the wardstones underground, Alex made his way through the empty corridors of the Manor. Since becoming mate with Susan, is size had augmented, and alongside it, his range to use his craft magic. With a radius of now 8 metres, he only needed to stand in the middle of the Manor, on the second floor, to be able to influence the entire structure.
Activating his ability through a single tough, Alex was able to 'see' the entire building. Like he did with the Flint Manor, Alex started by the roof. Taking off the slates and nails nailing them, he carefully stored the first in a crate, with a thick sheet of wool between two-layer, while putting the second in a box.
Taking down the woodwork section per section, he stores them as they were, before starting to demolish the walls of the third floor. Each stone was taken apart before stacked like his ingots. Any flooring and woodwork layered on the stone walls were retrieved complete and stored.
Stopping for an instant after taking apart the second floor, he returns to the main floor and finishes to erase any trace of the building on the surface.
Looking at the spot he felt, Alex made his way in the basement, before doing the say, filling the appearing hole with dirts taken from construction site.
Twenty minutes after Tinny apparate him on the ground, Alex finished taking apart the ancestral Bones Manor, effectively leaving the DMLE homeless.
Seeing that the sun was starting to set, Alex nodded.
'Perfect, the ministry will shortly close.' Though him, while retrieving a portkey he made to London, and more precisely, the Ministry public entry, the phone box. Taking a look at the charms and enchantments linking the phone, Alex didn't take long to found the desired section. Highjacking the enchantment, he triggers the entrance ward, making the cabin fall underground.
After a minute of going down, the phone box opens in the atrium. Taking his invisibility cloak, before the cabin passes through the layer of stone forming the roof of the atrium, he exits the cabin as a security guard opened the door. Passing the man, and dodging the incoming Aurors rushing to the place, he stays just enough to catch a part oft he conversation.
"Damn broken thing, when will they repair it!" Swore the guard, making the Aurors relax. "Sorry guys, another dysfunction, the maintenance crew shouldn't be long."
"How many time was it this month, already?" Asked one of the oldest Aurors in post.
"Eight." Sighed the guard. "I swear they..."
-That was a reckless entry.- CS commented, not impress with Alex lack of care on the matter.
'True, but I already know about the dysfunction, Susan had heard her Aunt complain about the lack of response from the Ministry about it. Since the entry is nearly never used, no one wants to spend Galleon to fix the thing.'
-And here I thought that the wizard had an 'if it not broken, don't fix it' policy, they are too lax security-wise, hell they didn't use a simple presence detection spell to see if someone wasn't hiding under disillusionment or invisibility cloak.-
'I know, you understand why I want to be done with them already, now?' Sighed Alex, agreeing with CS.
Making his way through the corridors and levels of the ministry, Alex was soon standing in front of the Minister office. Passing the secretary more focussed on her nail that her job, he passed the door, making a little sound as possible.
Without the noise or his secretary to warn him Fudge didn't see Alex, or more precisely the door, open, still focussed on the paperwork he needed to finish before going home.
Taking a small square sheet of paper with runic array on it, Alex quickly slaps it on the man neck, rendering him unconscious immediately.
Pushing him back in his chair, Alex used two fingers to spread the eyelid open, and have direct access to the man's eye.
Alex couldn't help but shake his head disappointedly when he didn't encounter any Occlumency shield. Plundering the man memories, he took everything he needed from Fudge, before exiting the man mind.
Back in the office, Alex took off the paper, after letting fudge fall back on his desk. With a helping hand, the man heavily smashes his head on the desk, while he pushes back his chair with his feet.
Due to his momentum, Fudge crumbles on the ground, bringing with him a part of his paperwork done. Putting his cloak back, Alex waited from the secretary to enter the office from the noise. When nothing happened after three minutes, Alex realises that the door had silencing charms engraved in it, isolating the office from any praying ears.
~~~

Taking advantage of the situation, he directly goes to the office fireplace, took and a handful of Floo powder, and shoot while throwing it in the hearth "Fuge Manor!". Steeping in the fire, Alex vanishes from the ministry, entering directly in the Minister house.

Looking around, Alex wasn't surprised anymore.

-Not only he had unprotected access from his office in the Ministry to his home, but directly entering in his office?- CS said disgruntled, exasperated at the man lack of security.

'Well, knowing the man, I'm not surprised, he wouldn't say thinks that someone would intrude in his office, much less know that he had direct access to his home.'

-I know, but still... Make it quick so that we can be done with it.-

'Hmm.'

Agreeing with CS, Alex opens a specific drawer in the cabinet, behind the desk. Taking out the signed agreement passed between Fudge and Amelia, alongside it a copy of the falsified contract between Susan and him, Alex also took a ledger, Fudge logbook for all his transaction with the different House.

When he found that the man was actually keeping a decoy on him, Alex had been a little impress by Fudge, not that it amounts to anything.

On the ledger was a Key, the newly made one for the Vaults under the Ministry. This one wasn't for the Fudge House Vaults, but his personal one was all his bribe were stored. It turns out that the man didn't even trust his wife, and had kept hidden the impressive fortune he had accumulated in the past years.

-Do you have everything?-

'Let see, the contract, the agreement, the key, the ledger, yes that all, let's go.'

~~~
After gathering the different items, Alex returned to Fudge office. Seeing the man still on the ground, bathing in a forming puddle of blood, he exited the office and returned to the atrium. Taking his cloak off, once in the fireplace, he vanishes to the leaky cauldron, before retiring in the Alley.
~~~

Entering the wizarding street for the first time since long, Alex discover the repercussion of his acts.

From the previously crowded Alley, only a trickle of customers was present. As for the shop, one every third was closed, for lack of supplies. Passing in front of the Quibbler office, Alex leave a package in the colourful box letter, an abnormality on its own in the wizarding world. Looking at the end of the Alley, the previously immaculate building had started to take a grey tint, under the accumulating dust and grime of the street.

Entering the hall, after passing the guardless doors, he was surprised to see only a thin corridor.

The old podium of the goblins had vanished, and most of the place was now occupied by row after row of doors. On them was the name of every accountant and the House they represent.

The Ministry had been generous enough to leave two chairs between every door, and put a rug on the ground, already full of dirt from the open doors.

Walking to the end of the corridor, he found the door he sealed a few months ago.

-Seems they weren't able to pass through them.-CS commented, seeing the undamaged doors.

'Not by lack of attempts.' Alex responded when reading the log of every spell that had been trowed at the doors to open them.

Unlocking them, after disabling the warning wards erected around, he seals them back after passing.

Using the goblins old tunnel and carts, he rapidly descends until the hidden Vault of Fudge. As he expected of the man, it was one of the lower, and most protected, even if the security was barely at the level of the least secure Vault of the goblins.

Using the key, simple identification access, he barely looks, before sucking the content in his pocket space.

Locking the Vaul door back, after manipulating the ward not to register the withdrawal, he used the cart to climb a few tunnels above, and stop in front of a particular Vault.

-I wonder why she didn't take the content back to their estate?-

'She can't with Frank in a coma; she doesn't have the authority to withdraw the Vaults content from the place it's stored.'

Not bother with the security this time, he ripped off the Vault door, before starting to take the entire content of the Longbottom Vaults, while the Bank alarm blares for the first time. Done, Alex look at the surrounding Vaults before shrugging and continue to make his way out.

~~~
In the Ministry, the DMLE department was in a frenzy. Every Aurors available had been mobilised as soon as the alarm had started to respond, an hour ago. Before any light could be made on the first breach of the bank under Ministerial guards, the entire Wisengamot Lords burst in the department, screaming murder.
Fudge, only discover when his secretary had entered hastily to warn him, needing some medical care, finally appears, blaring righteous anger.
"What the meaning of this, Amelia! 46 Vaults breached, their entire content completely vanished by the time Aurors arrive, it inacceptable!"
Behind him, all Lord of the Wisengamot, strangely the only one targeted by the heist, nodded, wanting their gold back.
It turned out than nearly none of the Dark House had moved their gold from the bank, as they were now in control, with only the minor House doing so to protect their interest. With the heist that just happens, all the remaining most prosperous House had been robbed blind of everything not in their houses.
With this happening, all became poppers temporarily. While they wouldn't stay like this for long, they would be unable to start regrowing their fortune, as there hearing were barely sustaining the different expense made from their various activities, let alone their lifestyle.
While all were rightfully angry for being robed, none were dumb enough to face of the woman alone, thus sending someone fetches Fudge, for him to take the burn. What surprised them was the woman didn't tear through him as she would, but only give him a sheet of parchment, found in the Vault.
Taking the parchment puzzled, Fudge turns from dark to white chocolate in a second, before starting quivering.
Due to his condition, the parchment fell from his hand, allowing one of those behind to pick it up and read the content.
When he did so, Lord Malfoy expression turn ugly.
What he had in his hand was a copy of the agreement passed between Fudge and Amelia, along with the contract, and a set of laws attached to them.
That information immediately informed him of the culprit, but he was unable to do anything.
When he signed with his name, Fudge hadn't realised that, as a binding agreement, he was honour bound to honour his side of the deal. While it wasn't much worrying, he either forgets of didn't take into account, that any exemption for the law he signed, either as Minister or on a personal title, activate clause of the contract he signed when becoming Minister.
As he was bending the law, it wasn't only himself that he engages, but also the Ministry and the Wisengamot. When Alex discover the contract had been forged, he had the legal right to seek retribution against the offender. As such, when he plunder each Lord of the Wisengamot, the Ministry and Fudge Vaults, he was protected by the laws and no one could do a thing against it.
Making multiple copies, Lucius immediately share what he just learn, turning the target of their anger from the thief, they now couldn't go against, to the two in front of them.
Surely one of the last chap before we continue our adventure in a new world, be patient, it will come really soon^^
