Chapter 11 First Mission Complete

(Rei POV)

It is really depressing for me, who was held back the whole year. It's all because of that bastard! Even after I repeated, Takashi doesn't understand how I felt, how I depressed. I couldn't have been happy those days. However, Hisashi is there for me whenever I'm feeling down. He is really a good man, unlike Takashi. He always helps me overcome my emotions.

But I was hoping Takashi would talk to me about why I chose Hisashi, not him, and I was hoping for him to confess me. But he doesn't. The only word that he told me when I said I'm starting to date Hisashi is 'Congratulation'. After that, he stands as if it's normal, he doesn't seem to care.

Why not confess me? Why not comfort me when I am depressed? Why is Hisashi always there while he is elsewhere when I need him most?

I hate him. I started to hate him, but also in some place in my heart, I still like him. It's really irritating. That is why I always compare him with Hisashi. If he was as good as Hisashi, if he was as comforting as Hisashi, if he was always there when I needed him, just like Hisashi.

However, he only showed me an annoyed expression other than sad. Today is the day my little happiness world became hell. Living dead are everywhere, Hisashi is dead, I can't contact my family, mom, dad, and everything is shattered! But I am also scared. I'm scare that I would become living dead and eat humans. I was scared I would die.

I don't know what to do anymore, but this time there is Takashi here for me. What took him so long to chase after me? Now, he is trying to protect me and staying with me. But I can't forgive him yet. That is why I still compare him with Hisashi.

Takashi saved the man that made me repeat my school year. I told him not to save him, but he still saved him. He is going to regret this! After I left the bus because I couldn't stand it anymore, Takashi ran after me.

We almost died because of the bus burning with flame. However, we were safe from the explosion because we ran as fast as we could from the tunnel.

After that, we escaped from there. I was happy because there were only two of us, but again, somehow there was a beautiful girl leaning on the motorcycle while smoking. I thought she was seducing Takashi because she was asking too many questions, but she said she is only interested in women.

It's unbelievable, but when I look at a close distance, she is very beautiful. She looks really kind when she smiles at me. I think I'm in love with her?

She is super strong too. When she fought with those men, she killed them all easily. However, she doesn't seem to like me. She looks friendly but she puts some distance from me.

The way to the eastern station is still far away, but for now there is silence and no zombies are in sight. Well, at least there are no zombies coming after us now. I thought as I watched the bridge that we passed. On that bridge, zombies and police are clashing.

"Lucia" Takashi turned to look at Lucia.

"Yes, I also heard that too", She replied back and looked at the bridge in front of them.

"Let's go!" Lucia said as she drove her motorcycle at speed.

*Brooooommmm…*

She sped up as she knew there was a place that could lift the motorcycle toward the bridge. A moment later, she saw the place that Takashi used to get on the bridge and she drove toward it and jumped on the bridge from below it.

*Broooommmm!*

On the bridge, Saya, Shizuka, Saeko and Kohta are looking at the person that is still in the air with a motorcycle. On the dark red with black-colored motorcycle, a white-haired girl was watching them with her deep red eyes.

*Bang!*

As soon as her motorcycle touched the ground, she drew her sword and drove around the group, which was still shocked by the appearance of the beautiful girl. Lucia drove the motorcycle skillfully and killed the zombies with her Murasame while smiling beautifully.

Saeko looked at Lucia with surprise and her heart was beating faster and faster. She even forgets that she is still killing zombies right now. Not long after Lucia starts the killing spree, Takashi and Rei also arrive, the same way just like in anime, but they don't start killing zombies as there are no more zombies to kill.

Lucia stops her motorcycle and starts to walk to the rest of the main character team from HOTD.

I nodded and looked back at Takashi and Rei who were coming toward the group.

Takashi and others are thinking, but Shizuka said

"Why don't we call it a day for now? We should relax for today while bathing. There is a place that we can stay and it's not far from here. Buildings are also high. So, we can also look at the distance and there is a car similar to a tank!"

"OK, I understand no need to cry, OK?" I walked toward her and said that while patting her head. She looked happy while blushing. Boys are ok because they can watch beautiful girls, comforting each other, but girls are different. Saya and Rei look envious while Saeko's eyes flash for a moment while smiling, looking at me and Shizuka.

"mhmm…" Shizuka replied while nodding.

It took a little more time to reach Rika's house and on their way there, they saw some zombies but they killed them easily as there were only a small numbers and not many.

They are now standing at the front door of the house. The house is on high ground and on the side of the stairs, there are fences. They are about to go in but 3 zombies appear in front of the house, but they kill the zombies easily. It seems there are people that want to stay in this place but one of them must be bitten and become like that.

"It's Hum-vee!! It's also a military model too!" Kohta shouted in surprise.

"Don't I tell you? It is like a tank, isn't it?" Shizuka said.

"What kind of friend do you have?" Saya asked Shizuka in disbelief.

"I don't know about that, I never ask" Shizuka replied.

"You can ask when you meet her, let's go in for now." Lucia said, as she already knew about what Rika works. Everyone nodded and walked inside.

When they entered, they saw the house was big. It's really big but it's only for Takashi and Rei, as they aren't rich like the rest of them. For Shizuka, she often comes here. For Saya, this is normal because she is rich; for Saeko, she is also rich; for Kohta, he is also rich too. As for our MC, she just doesn't care and she is already known in advance from anime.

"This house really is large." Takashi said, while Rei nodded in understanding.

"How many bedrooms here, Shizuka?"

"There are two bedrooms, one is for guests. The bathroom is also big, so we can go in together!"

"Okay, Takashi and Kohta will take a bath after us. We will go to Takagi Estate tomorrow as you guys planned. We will rest for a while." "Let's go!!" Shizuka grabbed Lucia's hand and dragged her inside of the bathroom. The rest of the girls also followed behind them.
