Finding Tsunade

Kakashi rubbed his face as he stared at his team, never having thought he would be looking at them from behind the desk of the Hokage like this, the hat set to the side.

''I need you all to find Tsunade, she is too use of an asset to be just, left wondering... Jiraiya has been kind enough to send us her last known location, as well as the information needed to help you three track them, our specialized tracking team is currently on another mission so I need to leave it to you three.''

Standing there were Naruto, Sasuke, and Karin, all in Chunin vests, Sasuke standing in the middle with his arms crossed, Naruto was yawning since he had just woken up not ten minutes ago, Karin trying her best to stay near Sasuke without getting in his way, pushing up her glasses.

She felt a lot of excitement, this was her first mission as a Konoha ninja, though not her first mission with Sasuke or Naruto.

''Done, folder?'' Sasuke asked, nodding to the single folder out of the large stacks around Kakashi.

''Yes, in it includes all the information you need, plus some additional incentive to get Tsunade back here, if asking nicely doesn't work... Which it most likely won't.''

''Force?''

''If you think you can bring in Tsunade of the three Sannin by force? Then if all else fails, go ahead. The old man may have allowed her to roam over favoritism, but we no longer have that luxury... Even if running the place is a lot easier thanks to you three.'' Kakashi released a sigh as he leaned back, relaxing in the chair.

Sasuke took the folder, giving it a quick look over before handing it to Naruto, only for it to be quickly snatched from him as Karin got to it first.

Kakashi meant a lot by that... Using subterfuge and espionage has led Sasuke practically to control the underground, using Orochimaru's contacts, and many favors to slowly lead people to danger to be left alive in places they could manage a proper assassination.

''By the way... Sasuke, I know how you feel about this, but after you return... I will be sending you as a liason to meet with Itachi, as he needs to report his recent findings... Is that alright?''

Sasuke nodded. ''I know what he did, and why he did it... I'm sure he wants to cause his own self-destruction using my emotions to make me hate him, but I've come to terms with it... It'll be a fun little surprise to see his face when I show up as well.''

Kakashi released a small chuckle before he waved his hand. ''See you three when you get back, and stay safe.''

They all nodded before they vanished together from the room, seen sprinting from the Hokage tower along rooftops together, Naruto speaking over the wind.

''What's the plan Sasuke?''

''Follow Jiraiya's lead, stay hidden and use transformation jutsu to help us hide as civilians, we'll search gambling dens, both legal and illegal, as well as bars, casinos, and rest locations. Once we find her, we will watch her for a few hours and decide on how we will approach her once we do so.''

Naruto gave a thumbs up before there was a small burst of smoke as he pulled a still hot bowl of noodles out, able to keep up with them even as he was eating them.

Karin spoke up over the wind. ''I left a note to Haku to let her know we'll be gone for an undetermined amount of time, she'll be taking care of the shops directly while we're gone.''

Sasuke simply nodded as they quickly reached the outer city limit, getting the go-ahead to pass, they continued to travel at high speeds towards the village Tsunade was last seen.

Sitting on a building near the edge of town, Naruto and Karin were both looking through a scope while Sasuke was simply using his eyes to watch.

''You sure that's her Naruto?'' Sasuke asked, his eyes locked on a beautiful blonde that was walking down the road. She looked familiar to Tsunade with small differences, no seal on her forehead, and her breast seemed to be reduced.

''She smells the strongest of booze and medicine like you said she might, and her chakra levels are huge, especially centered around her forehead. It's got to be the seal she uses.''

Karin spoke up, adjusting the focusing lens on her scope. ''She was also seen talking with a black-haired woman carrying a pig just an hour earlier. Different slightly to Shizune, larger breast but definitely her.''

Sasuke rumbled softly as he watched Tsunade from afar, he kept intent clear from his eyes, focusing on objects and people around her and not raising suspicion.

Tsunade might be a drunk, and maybe out of practice, but she was a legendary figure, and their intuition was frightening.

''Alright, we'll wait for her to stop at the next stop, if her schedule holds up, it'll be a restaurant next. We'll approach her then, protectors covered.

They all nodded before they resumed watching her, Karin's hand moving to find Sasuke's and hold his jacket. She was nervous for sure, since Tsunade was, in fact, a legendary figure, and somewhat the person Karin looked up to, her skills as a medical ninja were awe-inspiring. Holding onto Sasuke's jacket helped comfort her.

Sasuke didn't seem to mind, simply continuing to watch.

After a few minutes, Naruto spoke up. ''Got eyes on Shizune, she just headed into the same diner that Tsunade is heading for.''

''We move in five then.'' Sasuke said as he stood straight, vanishing from his position along with both Karin and Naruto.

Alright, let's take a seat and speak with me, the guy behind this story for a bit.

I fucking hate this story, I've rapidly come to the conclusion that I enjoy messing around with my novels in the ninja world, but I hate writing as a character from here. This fanfic was really never meant to last long, or take off for that matter. It started as me finding out how I feel about writing in the Naruto world, and how I enjoy messing around with it.

I can do a lot in the Naruto world, from straight villain routes to goody two-shoe routes, to just saying 'Fuck that' and living a happy life away from all the events of Naruto, only to show up and steal the milf that is Kaguya, and then just dip. Leaving the entirety of the cast dumbfounded.

I could go 'World Conqueror.' route and gather the entirety of the ninja villages beneath his command, intact wartime preparation and take the war to the Otsutsuki for funzy. There is a lot I could do while messing around in the naruto world, but I've decided I am going to put an end to this fanfic as a whole, while doing chapters for my Cyberpunk fanfic on my second account, this is going to be my focus. I'm going to stick with the plot and route I have going now, then I am going to end it on a 'Good' note.

I'll leave it uncompleted in case I ever want to come back and rewrite it, and I will say now, and then later when I do it that anyone can take this work and make their own twists, endings, whatever.

Maybe Sasuke just woke up one day and said you know what? Fuck it, I'll just bang everyone, put them in a time dilation jutsu that I pulled out of my ass, then suddenly take the entirety of the ninja world by storm by using children born of some of the hottest and strongest female ninjas and the strongest Uchiha. It's up to ya'll, but for now, this fanfic will be coming to an end, maybe not the end I wanted, or the end anyone was wishing for, but I refuse to drop a story.

I came to the promise to myself that I won't drop a story, I will end it, even if it's not the best ending.

Good thing is, you'll get chapters as I finish them, so here are the chapters I have currently.
