I was astonished, surprised, confused and was in complete distraught as I approached the empty bed. My fear became my reality and they were worse that what I feared. I almost turned the bed upside down, checking and double checking the empty covers for any sign of him, but nothing. I heard footsteps behind me, I turned around hopeful to see his face that I missed so dear, but it was only Denise and Miggy, confusion in their faces.

"Where's Vin?" Miggy asked me curiously, but I just stood there silently. Trying to stop my tears from falling.
