Pov- Bonnie

"So Stefan where are you from?" I hear Caroline ask the dark brown-haired male at our table. Said male has his eyes focused on my best friend Elena. Who is sitting opposite to him and beside me while Caroline's beside him.

Honestly, it's pitiful how hard Caroline's trying to get his attention away from Elena but then again who can blame her the dude is gorgeous. I'm sure he checks out a lot of girls' boxes just not any of mine.

Glancing slightly to my right I see an envious-looking Matt. Poor dude got dumped by Elena about four months ago and he's still not over her. I guess he held out hope that once she recovered from the pain of her parent's death she would give him another chance.

That however doesn't seem likely with how strong the undeniable connection between Stefan and Elena is. If she's gonna give anyone a chance it's gonna be Stefan. I do wonder though how they are so strongly connected if they just met today.

Maybe this is a true example of what soulmates are and yes I believe in that, fight me. Taking another glance at Matt I can't help but feel sorry for the dude. I really do hope he can get over Elena.

I sit there for another minute before I'm overwhelmed by all the different emotions floating around in the air. From Caroline's desperation, Matt's envy, and the way Stefan and Elena were staring at each other.

I can't lie and say I'm not jealous as I've never had anyone stare at me like how Stefan is staring at Elena. "Excuse me guys I'm gonna use the bathroom " I inform the group as I get up to excuse myself.

The reactions I get are minimal as everyone seems to be entranced by one another. Leaving I go to the bathroom to just sort out my feelings. I begin thinking about my not-so-strong relationship with my parents or parent as I don't know shit about my mom since she abandoned me as a child.

I don't know the reason why as Grams doesn't like talking about her. As for my dad, our relationship is a bit strained as he doesn't seem to like being around me another thing I don't understand.

I can't help but break down crying wondering why neither of my parents seem to want to be in my life. I have grams but it's still hard you know to see everyone else interact with at least one of their parents while mine are distant.

I cry for about five minutes before recomposing myself. Wiping my tears I go towards the exit to join back the group. Opening the door I take a step forward and bump foreheads with someone.

Causing me to take a step back and rub my forehead to ease the pain. Still trying to ease the pain I look up to see who I bumped into. I come face to face with a beautiful blue-eyed woman mirroring my actions.

For some reason, I feel like I know or have seen her somewhere before I just can't pinpoint it. I quickly went to apologize as it was kind of my fault as I was still caught up in my emotions which distracted me.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't paying attention," I say apologizing to her. She removes her hand from her forehead giving me a smile that leaves me mesmerized (no this ain't gonna be no Yuri shit she's just stunned by her beauty).

"I'm also at fault as I wasn't paying attention either" she replies extending her hand. "I'm Alexandra but you can call me Alexa it's nice to meet you," she says introducing herself to me.

"Nice to meet you too Alexa I'm Bonnie," I say also introducing myself while I take her outstretched hand. "So um Alexa are you visiting here or something" I ask because around here in Mystic Falls everybody kind of knows everybody.

"Yes I came here to visit my grandma and cousin" she replies. Nodding I ask "Ok then you meet them yet".

Smiling she replies "Yep I met my cousin already I just got to go and look for grams," she says. "Well, I'll leave you to it then," I tell her remembering that I kind of stopped her from going to the bathroom.

Nodding she bypasses me " It was nice to meet you bonnie I hope to see you around" I hear behind me. "Yeah, nice to meet you too" I reply and hear the door open behind me signifying her entrance.

That feeling of familiarity stays as she leaves. I began thinking maybe I met her when I was younger which would certainly explain the familiarity. I just can't remember where I've seen her. Brushing off those thoughts I go back to the group that has kept the same attitude as when I left.

However, it seems during my absence Elena and Stefan have gotten more familiar with each other as they are now actively talking, smiling, and laughing not just staring at each other.

Looking over at Caroline she seems to have given up on Stefan as he still doesn't seem interested in anything but Elena. Retaking my seat I try to join the conversation but quickly get bored with it.

So I take a quick look around the grill to see if anything can catch my interest. Something or more like someone immediately does. A guy that doesn't seem much older than me ordering a drink most likely alcoholic at the bar.

He has a pretty muscular body, not bodybuilder type but you can most certainly see and make out his muscles under his shirt even a faint six-pack. An absolutely gorgeous face, mysterious and beautiful blue eyes, and majestic black hair. It's safe to say he meets all of my requirements even exceeding them.

There's this dark feeling I'm getting from him. I got it from Stefan as well but I felt his way stronger. I watch as he accepts his drink from the bartender and takes a sip. I don't know why but every action this man does seems seductive even him simply taking a sip from his drink was seductive. "Wow, he's hot" I hear Caroline say.

Already knowing she's talking about the same dude I absentmindedly reply "He sure is"

Pov-Alex

I'm currently sitting alone at a bar because Alexa left me to go to the bathroom after the long drive we had to come here.

Accepting my drink from the bartender with a light smile I thank her earning myself one as well. Taking a sip of my drink I feel as if I'm being watched.

Turning around to look at who is watching me. My eyes connect with none other than the beautiful Bonnie Bennett. I give her a slight wave which she shyly returns. I turn back around in my seat and hear "Bonnie go talk to him or I will" I hear a voice I recognize as Caroline says.

"What no what if he has a girlfriend" I hear Bonnie respond. "And what is he doesn't? Just talk to him as if you're trying to make friends" I hear another voice say which I think is Elena as she was the only other female at the table.

Which I find funny as I've never had a female friend I didn't fuck at least thrice. "Fine" I hear Bonnie say followed by some shuffling presumably her getting up. I hear some footsteps approach me before I feel a hand touch my shoulder.

Turning around I see Alexa standing in front of me and Bonnie a few feet back. "Alex you'd never believe who I met on my way to the bathroom," she says as I watch an embarrassed Bonnie

return to her seat.

"I think I would" I reply as I turn her around to look at the table Bonnie's at. "You met her" I hear her ask.

"Nope you just stopped it"I reply
