Rage, My Soldiers!

I couldn't help but stare at the hole that had been formed in horror. Though I expected the Hell Guardian to be stronger than General Meduso, I didn't expect this level of disparity between the two. Now we have the lower level adventurers fighting monsters that will slaughter them and an absolute god of a monster standing triumphantly before me.

I can feel fear bubbling within my stomach, but I quelled it as quickly as I could. I can't afford to lose myself here. Negative emotions and anything that may cloud my judgement will only result in my, and everyone else's, death.

The Hell Guardian continued to howl with laughter at his own joke. Though his voice was muffled by his mask, their volume was loud enough to be heard over the sound of clashing weapons in the distance.

"Honestly, it's amazing!" He acted as if he was going to wipe a tear from his eye, but merely rubbed his mask instead.
