The white smoke slowly spread across the hilltop. The figure that stood upon the cracked ground stood up, cracked their neck, and looked over the area.

This sensation alone is enough for me to understand what is before me. I've felt this before, and I was certainly glad to be rid of it when I had the opportunity, but now things have changed.

"Hm." He let out when his eyes traced over the five of us. "It appears as if my hunch was correct."

"What hunch?" I shouted back. I don't know where this defiant energy came from, but this frustration and fear has burned inside of me for long enough. I can't take it anymore. I refuse to simply stand by while he toys with us.

The Hell Guardian tilted his head in response to my question before he started to take steps forward.
