THE WEAKEST SYSTEM IN HISTORY

Helios Planet, 2300.

"Congratulations, sir, we did it. We can now explore the open stars," somewhere in the lab, a handful of scientists were celebrating their new invention. It is an engine that can make a spaceship go faster than light.

"Don't be so happy; we need to run some tests. After that comes the real celebration." Even though the chief scientist rebuked them, he also had a smile.

In just a month, the news spread all over the world, and the final test was held at the end of the month.

All the people of the world were waiting for this historical moment.

On the day of the test,

"Did you check the parameters?"

"I already checked it twice. Can we just start the test?"

Inside the small spaceship, which was built by the Human Federation, seated only one person who volunteered to be in it.

"Lios, are you ready?"

"I am ready, sir."

"Okay, on my mark, start the engine."

1... 2... 3... start.

And with a huge explosion, the test came to an end.

10 years later,

After all these years, the world has already changed. Now, people could be seen flying here and there, killing beasts in the forest with their bare hands. And all of this change happened when the big explosion was heard 10 years ago.

After the explosion, an unknown substance was detected by the scientists, but they didn't take it seriously. But a week later, everything changed.

People started getting sick without warning. Even after testing in the biological lab, they couldn't confirm the reason.

But that's not the end; when people started dying in huge numbers, all the federation was alarmed.

They started separating the sick people from the healthy ones. And it was really a sad day for everyone; even the richest people didn't survive this cruel fate.

Until a year later, this madness came to an end. But it was already too late; 50% of the population died in just a year. Such a blow was really devastating for everyone.

But this was not the end; harmless animals started going mad. Whenever they saw a human, they were hell-bent on killing it.

The Federation was already in shambles; they didn't have time to manage this. People started dying again at the hands of animals. People were desperate. But nobody came for their rescue.

But this desperation triggered something in the human body. And people started getting supernatural powers. And just like that, peace once again came to humans.

People with a strong will started taking leadership roles. For the safety of the people, they started to build big walls around their cities and establish rules and regulations for supernatural beings.

Even though peace returned, they were never going to forget the day it all started. And as a whole, they named it 'the Black Day'.

Back to the present,

Star City, slum area.

In a shabby and small apartment, on the floor lay a person who was 18 years old. But he was lying in a pool of his own blood.

His name is Ethan. He lives alone in the apartment. His parents died because of beasts one way or another. To take care of his needs, he does some hard jobs here and there.

He used to study in college, but because he couldn't become a supernatural being, he had to leave college. But his life began to get harder when people around him started bullying him all the time. Even though these people had power, they were just some common powers, like making a finger a little bigger, growing hair, growing nails, etc.

But today, because of bullying, Ethan snapped. In a fit of anger, he went into the forest, which has grown too much from before.

And just as he entered the forest, he was found by a boar who was walking around this area.

After seeing the boar, Ethan snapped back to reality and wanted to run away, but how could the boar let him run away?

After running around and fighting here and there, Ethan somehow succeeded in running away. But during the fight, he got seriously hurt.

Somehow, he managed to return to the apartment, but as a poor fellow, how can he treat his injury? And there's nobody else to take care of him. Because of too much blood loss, his vision is getting blurry and he was on the verge of death. Before blacking out, he thought to himself, "Finally, I can get some peace." Saying that, he let out a slight smile and finally blacked out.

Unknown to him, from a small space crack, an object came out which was shining with light. And seeing a human body, it directly went into his head.

After five minutes, a voice sounded within Ethan's head. "Shit, I took a dying person as my host. What an unlucky day."

"Sigh, now that I took you as my host, I can't let you die; otherwise, I will have to follow you to the afterlife. Huh... let me check."

After a few seconds, "just my bad luck. Just as I found myself a host, I am going to lose 50% of my energy... so be it."

Then suddenly, Ethan's body was engulfed in a white light, and his injuries started to heal quite fast.

After a few hours,

"Hmm... what happened?" Ethan, who woke up suddenly, got surprised because there was no painful feeling in his body. After checking his whole body, there was not a single injury to be seen.

After thinking for a moment, he became happy. "Did I just get myself a supernatural power?"

"Yeah, dumbass, you got yourself a supernatural power, and that's me."

Suddenly hearing a voice inside his head, Ethan got spooked and started looking all around him.

"Who is it? If you have the balls, come in front of me."

"Trust me, I don't have any balls, but if I did, I would be braver than you, dumbass."

"Stop calling me dumbass, you coward," Ethan shouted.

"See, your legs are shaking like a leaf, and you are calling me a coward. Heheh... you are funny."

Ethan, who was exasperated, finally calmed down and asked slowly, "At least tell me who you are before killing me."

"You really are a dumbass. If I wanted to kill you, why would I save you in the first place?"

Hearing this, Ethan became a little relaxed. "At least tell me who you are so that I can thank you."

"Alright, let me introduce myself then. I am the bravest and the weakest system there is."
