The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 40 - what is the meaning of this?

The PR department at Ed's company got to work and about half an hour later the intensity of Amira's online reputation plummetting had reduced but that doesn't mean that it had completely disappeared.

They advised Ed to make her retire from the entertainment industry as tit was next to impossible to clean her character if she had one more scandal that is proved to be true.

Ed weighed the pros and cons, and decided to let Amira go on a temporary hiatus, he then called Amira telling her to post the message that the PR department was about to forward to her.

Amira opened her chat box and kept on refreshing it until the message came in, she lost all strength in her feet and she bloped on the floor when she saw the message.

She read the message over and over again before she called Ed, but he ignored her calls, she then bombarded him with messages.
