The Villain’s Repentance

Lara was at rock bottom, feeling like a puppet whose strings had been cut. When she stumbled upon her husband and best friend in a compromising embrace, everything fell into place. The heartbreak stung, but it also ignited a fierce determination within her. Instead of wallowing in despair, fate intervened, giving her a second chance at life—waking her up ten years earlier, just before the chaos began. Armed with wisdom, she promised herself not to repeat the same mistakes. As she stood at the top of the stairs, her gaze fell on Lucas, her once-beloved fiancée. Regret washed over her; she couldn't believe she had almost let him slip away. This time, things would be different.

Chapter 33 - Black Material

That night the PR team at Ed's company ended up working till morning, just to clear her name from that trouble.

But it all proved futile for a while as it seemed like someone was purposefully pushing the buttons from behind and when they took two steps forward that person reversed them ten steps backward.

At around 8am the next morning, the online traffic died down and the PR team was happy that they finally had things under control, all Amira had to do was to make a public apology and say it was just she and her assistant practicing for a scene in her upcoming tv series and that the assistant wasn't harmed.

Impressed, Ed gave them all permission to take the rest of the day off.

When the five man team each arrived at their homes they all decided to switch off their phones and have a well deserved sleep.

Some hours later when it was peak time when office workers were out for lunch and students were on short break, a post went viral again.
