Chapter 15 Pre tense

She cursed on her breath for Standing up. How will she escape through the embarrassment she was about to encounter. Even if she knew the question, she may not be able to answer it.

"Sir, I think he should answer the question. I've forgotten the answer to the question." She managed to say, hoping he would tell her to sit down.

Mike glanced at her and rested his hand on the desk. "But you stood up on your own to answer the question. I didn't tell you to." Mike said, which should be enough reason for her to sit down.

"Yeah, I understand sir. But .....I don't know... I forget things these days." She replied, stammering on her words. The next thing she wanted to hear is, "Have your seat."

"I can see you really need help, have your seat." Mike said and she sank back on her seat.
