It has been exactly two minutes since I left Arian and the others to go on my little rouge hunting spree and Arian won't stop bothering me with nursery questions...
"Hot or cold ?...."
"Any rouges in site ?..."
" I spy with my little..." , Alpha! . I unintentionally harshly growl back at him . I understand he is under pressure and anxious, but I really need to concentrate.
"I'm sorry for lashing out Alpha, but please give me a minute and I will be able to link you all the information you need ." I reply to him through the link.
"Sorry to disturb, but I just need to hear if you went far enough for the link to disconnect.You understand, I am still not yet the Alpha of the pack, Only his Son. Unlike my father , I am only allowed to use this link on battle grounds to communicate with everyone on the field. I haven't tried to use it with someone out of my vision. If you go too far it might break and I am trying to mark the last place the link stops..., I've already dealt with the rouges here...two are still alive... they don't have tongues... please mark your track so that we can start following you . The master of these beasts cannot see you alone. It will be like I offered him a free sacrifice."
For the first time Arian sounds serious and deeply concerned about the dangerous situation that I currently might have put myself in . I start to think that maybe ... I made a bad decision.
"DO YOU SMELL THAT ? "...Terra says disturbing my self sympathy speech. Am I ever going to be allowed to finish a sentence in my head ?!.... if not Terra, then Arian and if it is not the both of them then it is my mother!
Oh shit! I need to get back home soon!
"GAIL....FOCUS, I CAN SMELL WET DEAD LEAVES , DEAD TREES, WET FUR AND I THINK DRY CHARCOAL?..."

" I've marked the trees with my scent , it will stop ten minutes from where I left you , after that follow the scent of a wet dog.Specifically a Samoyed breed. We've found the rouges .They are hiding behind a dead Giant Sequoia. I'll sit under a tree not far from them and tell you when they move ." I briefly send a link to inform Arian .
"There is a dog in the field ?!..." Arian asks, a little shocked.
" No, it is my other scent cover. I got it for free, it helps a lot when I go out to the humans town! Plus if these rouges see me they won't make a move cause they will think I am a domesticated dog and my owner who might be a hunter with a gun is nearby, so if they see me they won't just attack .Be fast though, if they don't smell the Hunter they may continue with their savagery. I'm sure they are waiting for the other rouges to send them a link . If you are sure you killed them, these stupid pig heads will be waiting here and basically deliver themselves unto your claws." I quickly fill in his curiosity.
"Already half way there, I'm glad you didn't go too far.." This time I can honestly hear the relief in Arian's voice.
"Well... Thank you.... for not leaving me entirely alone here." I let out a relieved sigh I hadn't noticed I was holding all this while . I'm glad Arian at least cares. Even if it is under official purposes.
"No problem, mutt!!"He responds.
Okay! I take back my words . Arian is mean !
"CAN WE FOCUS ON NOT BEING EATEN! ? .." Terra joins the conversation in my head.
" Rouges eat dogs ?!!... Are they from China!? " I exclaim and pretend to freak out . I can feel Terra get irritated by my stupid remark and slump on the ground.
In my wolf form that currently has a scent of a wet dog, Terra and I find a tree next to the rouges , far enough to run if they get suspicious but also close enough for me to keep track of their movements. So far I'm doing a good job of being a dog by hanging my tongue out and panting loudly while trying to catch a fly that keeps dancing in front of my face. I even throw in a few barks here and there. ...
" GET READY TO RUN , I THINK THEY CAUGHT ON TO OUR ACT !!" Terra warns me... and he is right.... the moment I look toward the Boulder they were hiding behind, one of them is already headed my way . I don't even waste a second, I'm up and running towards Arian's direction.
" Change of Plan , We will meet you quarter way to the pack house on the east side, I will not lead them to the same place as they might get suspicious and think I work with you . At least if they catch me I can pretend I wanted to skip town and just happened to run into them after taking a short break under the tree...they might even want to adopt me ...hehe"....I yet again inform Arian.
"I'll excuse the last part, but copy that ...we will be on your tails in two minutes!!" Arian responds.
While running, I start to imagine what my life would be like if I chose to stay in this pack.If they allowed me to train and do what I want irregardless of my status as an Omega. I wonder if my mate will also think I am an omen too cause of my mother's disdain towards me. I honestly still love her. Sometimes I think she hates to bully me, I feel like she hates to bully me, but I wonder why she does it. I am very calculating and smart ...but this is one of those X's in a math equation I can't seem to find an answer to.
My Omega side is very sensitive, I'm glad I have a strong minded wolf. Terra is my literal rock. That brings me to think, I wish my mate was someone of the same status or at least a cook? ....I could easily ask them to relocate and they might not find it difficult since they don't have major roles in the pack . A human would be good too . I heard some packs have had humans mated to them and although later the human turned into a wolf , I could convince the counsel to let us settle on the human side in pretence of my mate being home sick..
" I KNOW THIS IS A BAD TIME ,BUT IF ...IF I DO FIND MY MATE ..I HOPE THAT ..MAYBE ...WE COULD..KIND OF ...YOU KNOW?.." I can feel Terra get uneasy.
" What Terra!?..."
" I DON'T WANT TO REJECT MY MATE!"..Terra shouts in my head , causing me to screech to a halt .I thought he too wants to leave with me...
"I DO, I DO WANT TO LEAVE..BUT GAIL.I WILL DEFINITELY BE SICK OR EVEN DIE IF I LOOSE MY MATE .OUR MATE ,GAIL.I'M SURE THEY WILL LOVE US ...I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WILL BE LIKE EXACTLY , BUT I'VE WAITED TOO LONG FOR THEM.MIND WISE I AM STRONG,YES! ...BUT I THINK I HAVE A VERY BIG OMEGA HEART GAIL. I CAN'T SURVIVE WITHOUT MY MATE! WE...CAN'T..." Terra says his voice sounding as soft as ever and his words fading towards the end. Terra is ....sad?
"Watch out !.."I hear Arian shout and as soon as I lift my eyes I see a rouge ready to lounge itself on me and like every other day, I immediately shift into my human form and as the rouge comes closer ready to attack I put both my hands on its open mouth ripping its head into two!, I don't hesitate and jump on the incoming one, riding it horse style and bend its neck from over its head ripping out its throat!....
"What the fu..!"
" There is a total of twelve coming, these two were the fastest I guess..,one of the incoming ones is definitely the leader! He has dark brown fur and a white ear and...I'll explain this later?"....I say gesturing to the dead rouges under my feet and letting out a shy chuckle.
A few seconds later before Arian can question me further , the other pack members arrived . Arian is the fastest wolf we have, well they haven't yet raced him against me but maybe one day...
"Okay boys...Let's go!"...Arian commands , but before proceeding he stops and gives me a quick scan and leaves his final words....
"Go back home, tomorrow come to the pack house !..It is an order Omega !"His words are firm but his look betrayed him. His face carries an excited and curious look...like someone who just discovered a new ..weapon?.
I sigh and start on my trip back to the house....
Tomorrow is going to be very interesting ,at least only Arian was the first to arrive. It will take a Goddess to convince anyone that an omega killed two rouges in its human form .This kind of news take you straight to the asylum...the mental one.
