Dardanian was soon standing in front of Sheyan. His hair was still wet, his body was emitting the unpleasant smell of amniotic fluid, and he looked very tired.
He had obviously just climbed out of that huge seed. To dispose of their former companions' corpses quietly was a time-consuming task, especially now that Pokan's abilities had been boosted dramatically. Dardanian's deed may be discovered if he was just a bit careless.
Sheyan pointed at the two rescued humans and asked in a low voice, "Is there anything you can do to help?"
Dardanian already had a general idea of what was happening. He was a little intimidated by Sheyan, so he obediently went over to have a look.
"It's hard. If we're to operate on them, we must administer a strong anesthetic to prevent the Chestbursters from struggling. But both of them are extremely weak right now. Anesthetics that are strong enough to be effective on the Chestbursters will likely kill them," Dardanian told Sheyan after a while.
