"Okay, in five years we would try to run as far away as possible, I don't think they would care about just one child right?

"Well let hope for the best outcome," Christopher said with his hands held tightly to Christy's hands.

'Huh? What going on?'

Though he didn't know what was happening, he still tried to garner up some thought as the fear of the unknown made his heart pound, even the feeling he got was out of his knowledge. What was that blinding light? Why did I previously feel like I was short of breath? And most importantly why did I vomit?

Everything appeared to be in a reverie state.

'Or could it be am dreaming? Why else would I suddenly feel weird? Wasn't I supposed to be at the Crossroad?'

'Damn it, don't tell me something happened while I was trying to reincarnate? Maybe just maybe I reincarnated. But what about my wishes, was there an accident along the way?'

Tobi felt jittery with the thought of not knowing what was happening to him. From the look of it, and how he felt it was, he might have ended up in an accident since there was no better explanation for his circumstances.

His mind thought's ran amuck about what might have happened to him, while he still felt the throbbing pain he had felt from the burst of light inundated.

But in the next moment, his pale black pupils shrank.

'Is it some type of game or what? And what does it mean a soul detected and a half-demon?'

Tobi at the moment was still staring in wonder at this magical screen that had suddenly popped before him.

He had always read about this happening in web novels and other books. But still, he was having a hard time digesting all these information, as well as this sudden new reality of life and the fact he seemed to be referred to by the system as a half-demon.

Tobi stared at the status screen in front of him in confusion, he felt like he was looking at a video game screen, no to be more precise he felt like he was inside a virtual reality game itself. Tobi had so many questions but barely any answers to what his current situation was, again he noticed that on the status screen there were many tabs, and accordingly without doing anything a message finally but slowly revealed itself.

As he stared at the black screen, he tried moving his limbs, but his sensation had something amiss from what he was used to because he felt his body was heavy from extreme fatigued.

With him being unable to move, he thought of various possibilities, and guess that though he might have suddenly reincarnated, this might be a compensation wish in return.

Even though he understood nothing of what was happening around him, he didn't really care anymore. He only felt euphoria, and that was all that matters to him.

Before he could further up his line of thoughts, or make out why he was suddenly being suffocated by something soft on his face. A bland liquid had poured down inside of his mouth, as he almost choked on what flowed in his throat.

Instinctively to him, his small hands moved and held what was in his mouth with a tight grasp, he couldn't help but take in a continuous mouthful of this liquid, it tasted like milk but much sweeter like nectar and warm to drink, and as well he had this feeling that he was quite hungry and as well couldn't stop himself from drinking non-stop.

Tobi looked at the message before he shifted his eyes to the woman whose eyes were half-closed.

The woman had long black silk hair, spread wide on her back and green emerald eyes below her slender eyebrows.

As he stared at her, he had trouble describing his feelings towards this woman in front of him, he didn't know whether to be happy or crying.

How could a grown man be leeching off a woman he might possibly be older than, however, he was already feeling quite grateful he couldn't get a boner, otherwise he didn't know what would have been the woman's reaction

Even though the milk flowing through his throat seemed to be sweeter than anything he had ever tasted, it couldn't stop the perpetual taste of bitterness he felt within his heart.

He didn't know if coming to this world was a gift or a curse, both to him or this family but he knew he couldn't reverse it, even if he tried.

Suddenly, he could hear strange childish voices which seemed to be feminine, but everything turned into a flash of blurriness.

He looked down on himself and saw that he seemed to had been lifted by a firm grip of a man whose face apparently looked blurry to himself.
