The God of War Emerges

The Jester retreated from Nora thinking that John was watching them, He then followed the script approaching Vergil as he defeated him easily as well as the other two before he stabbed Lady with the blade she had attached to her bazooka.

Nora couldn't move but she was bloody furious, making her eyes show it as they turn red from seeing that. Soon after Vergil, Lady, and Dante teamed up to defeat the Jester, or better said Arkham who defeated them easily.

The ground they were standing on was shaking before it became a platform that began to move upstairs while Arkham says, "With the Blood of Sparda and the Blood of the Priestess that sacrificed herself the seal is broken and Demon World is connected to our world again."

"You monster!" shouts Lady as she was bleeding from her right thigh.

"Once I have Sparda's Power I will be a God and not even that monster will be able to stop me," says Arkham making the three look at him confused.

"Which Monster?" asks Dante wanting to know who he was talking about.

"You all met him before. He is so strong that he handled us all as if we are children," says Arkham only making Vergil and Dante narrow their eyes.

"Who is he talking about?" asks Lady as she didn't fight him.

"He is talking about my father," says Nora who wasn't frozen any longer since Arkham left the room with the platform.

Nora rushes towards Lady as her hand was glowing green. She placed it on Lady's thigh making Lady feel warm enter her body from where Nora touched her. After some seconds the cut disappeared. Vergil and Dante disappeared as they were running against a platform that was going upwards quite fast.

"Thank you," says Lady as Nora picked her up like a princess.

"We are going to the top right away," says Nora as Lady was confused when they suddenly appeared outside the tower.

"Did we just-," says Lady as Nora smiled at her.

"We just teleported outside of the tower," says Nora when suddenly a scythe was coming for her.

Nora spin kicks in the direction killing a demon easily as she says, "We should be near my mother."

"Your mother?" asks Lady as Nora nods.

"It wouldn't be the woman standing in the sky holding that spear?" asks Lady who could see her standing there as if she was on the ground.

"Yup, that is my mother," says Nora as they see how Nesiara was killing a horde of demonic bats that seemed to be made out of blood.

"I think my father is underestimating your father," says Lady as Nora smiles at her.

"Who are you telling that. I saw my father and mother fight against a god before and they won. So seeing a person that thinks he can become a god just by taking someone's power is quite pathetic," says Nora when Nesiara notices the two under her.

She finishes the fight using her flamethrower before descending towards them. She sees Nora smiling something quite strange as Nora normally never smiles and if she does it's only for a moment.

"Nora, why are you here and who is your little friend?" asks Nesiara as she looks at her daughter.

"This is Lady and we are going to fly up to the top instead of ascending it by foot," says Nora as Nesiara looked serious at her daughter.

"Then you should wait for your father to deal with the situation. Then you and your friend are allowed to go to the top," says Nesiara as the two would arrive at the top before Arkham, Vergil, and Dante if Nora flew towards the top.

"We can't wait. I have to stop my father," says Lady as Nesiara looked at her.

"You can take your revenge later but for now you should wait. John wouldn't take away your target his mission is to educate Dante and Vergil as well as to close the gate to the demon world," says Nesiara looking at Lady.

"How long shall we wait?" asks Nora as Lady looked at Nora in disbelief that she would wait as her mother asked of her.

"Just some minutes in the meantime you could help me with the new demons that appeared after the gate to the demon world opened," says Nesiara as she didn't even turn around when a Lance appeared in her left hand that killed a demon that wanted to attack her.

She then canalizes her faith into the lance making its blade glow and grows larger as it stopped after being twice as large as the lance was. She then spins both her weapons to kill the demons coming towards them.

"How about you use one of your units to help me here while you flirt with your little friend," says Nesiara teasing them as Nesiara saw the different eyes of Lady and remembered what John told her before on Middle-Earth about Nora's children having different eye colors.

"Mother/Ma'am!" say Nora and Lady as they blushed a bit from hearing that.

"I don't have the whole day. Will you summon one or will I have to work alone here?" asks Nesiara now serious as Nora puts Lady down for now.

She holds her sword and was looking at her sword concentrating on who she should summon when Arthur's voice entered her head, 'How about we let a God take the field this time?'

'A God? You have more Gods under you?' asks Nora surprised since Tyr was with the five hundred Deathseeker.

'Of course, do you think I became a person to rival Deathseeker and Shura by not having a God or two under my lead,' says Arthur as he laughs and continues, 'I even have Demons under my command. But we should concentrate on the God that should be able to help you in this situation.'

'Which God is it?' asks Nora concentrating on a God.

'We are calling for Ares, the God of War,' says Arthur with an exciting tone in his voice as he continues, 'He who is the original one from the old times when only the Four Realms existed before his power was split into many parts to be in every world around the Multiverse.'

"I call you, Ares. The God of War that is bound to his word and loyalty to the carrier of Excalibur. I call you to aid me!" shouts Nora as Excalibur was glowing brightly before Nora pierces the ground.

Suddenly the night sky that was bright red turned even darker and redder as if it was blood that was in the sky while the earth suddenly split apart and someone that was watching everything from afar was shocked to see what was happening.

"That can't be," says the Ancient One as she was seeing everything.

Then a man surrounded by black chains rose out of the earth the chains were slowly falling from his body as a blood-red armor appeared on him. He has sky-blue eyes and golden hair as a blood-red sword and shield appear in his hand.

"I am finally free again!" shouts Ares into the air making the earth tremble as he released his power that was sealed away.

He turns around with his eyes closed as he smiles while saying, "It has been long since you summoned me, Arthur. My sister must be quite jealous about it."

He opened his eyes only to find an unknown woman holding Excalibur as he was confused and asks, "Who are you?"

"The owner of the sword," says Nora as Ares looked at her even more confused when he feels people with godly power approach him and one of them was similar to his own but all of them were dwarves before his power.

"We can discuss this later, we will get company in a moment and we have a demon problem around here. How about this," says Ares as he snapped his fingers and ten thousand of his strongest followers appeared in front of Nora.

"They will deal with the demons that are coming from that portal while we will deal with the people that are coming. It has been long since I fought a God," says Ares while Lady didn't know what to think of Nora and her family the more she found out of them.

"So you can summon also a God and not only some knights," says Lady looking at Nora confused.

"Trust me, even I don't know every mystery Excalibur contains and I own it since I was born," says Nora as she told Lady the truth.

"You should talk later the Gods are here," says Ares interrupting them.

The Gods that arrived were the Greek Pantheon of this World. They were looking at the foreign Ares while Ares looked at his counterpart which inherited part of his power.

The Ancient One wanted to intervene when suddenly the earth was shaking with Logan appearing as he looked at the Greek Pantheon before looking at Ares who was beside Nora.

"What is the Greek Pantheon doing here? You should know the rules and stay out of the worldly affair of the mortals," says Logan as his voice only reached the people he wanted them to hear him.

"Oh, is he the new Godking that succeeded Shura?" asks Ares as he was there when Shura ascended the throne.

"Yes, and he isn't the only one. There is also another one and both of them are Shura's children and my Ancestors," says Nora as Ares was surprised that Arthur would allow the descendant of Shura to swing Excalibur.

"Did you know of the feud between Shura and Arthur?" asks Ares when he looked at Nora while Lady was confused about everything that was going on.

She couldn't hear Logan talk even when she could see him move his mouth when she could hear one of the Gods that arrived say fearfully, "We are sorry about this but we felt someone powerful that resembled my son's divinity and when we arrived we saw him. Who is he?"

"He is the origin of your son. He is the first Ares that ever existed in the Multiverse," says Logan as he then looks at Ares who was beside Nora.

Logan could feel the raw power coming from Ares and it was stronger than the whole Greek Pantheon of this World then he turns to Zeus and says, "You should leave or I will have to force you all to it."

"Don't be a spoilsport, I want to have a fight against someone," says Ares as Logan appears in front of him and punched him in the face making Ares move three meters away from his position.

"You are quite weak for a Godking," says Ares as Logan smiles at him.

"Let me release all my seals then," says Logan as he disappeared before punching Ares again sending him flying this time before he appears behind him and crushes Ares with a kick sending him into the ground while saying, "Know your place you couldn't even defeat my and my brother's successors. Just keep listening to my descendants and maybe your future will be better under her lead than under Arthur's."

Then he looks at the sky again seeing the Pantheon leave as they didn't want to end up like Ares. Then Logan looks directly at the Ancient One and disappears and appears beside her.

"Didn't you say you wouldn't interfere in this," says Logan as his hand was around her neck.

"I was just watching because of the energy that I felt. I would never have believed to see an original God emerge today," says the Ancient One with difficulties as Logan lets her go.

"You should leave as will I. They will deal with it themselves," says Logan as he disappears right away.
