Chapter 5

I wake up in an empty room. It's dark and I can see two people fighting but not who it is. I try to get up but I can't! I'm tied up! How the hell did I get here! I look down and I'm not transformed I'm still Rosie. I pass out again.

I have to save her! I have to save Rosie! Jumping and running across rooftops isn't easy! But I finally caught up with the guy who took Rosie. Shes in a building, but I have to be careful about how I enter or I might be ambushed.

"How am I going to get in there?! I know! The fire escape!" I slide into the window and try to untie Rosie, but I'm attacked! I have to start fighting Mr. Hurricanes awful creation. This time it's a man with a sleeping gas. He sprayed it on Rosie when she was taken right outside of school! I have to be careful not to be hit with it or I might end up like her.

I use my sonic waves and finally! This ones down for the count!

"Whe..where am I?" I say.

"Don't worry you're safe now." Echo says

"What happened?" I say trying to get up.

"Be careful. You're probably still sleepy from that Monsters sleeping gas. It will wear off soon."

I try to stay awake but I fell asleep again.

I pick her up so I can bring her home. "She's very cute when she's asleep." I think to myself. It took a little while but I got her home safe. I put her in her bed and left. I smiled a little. She really is cute when she sleeps.

I woke up in my bed. I really don't remember anything from yesterday. I get up, eat breakfast and walk to school.

"Rosie! Oh my god! You're okay! Thank god!"

"Yeah! Why wouldn't I be?!"

"You don't remember?!"

"Nope."

"You were abducted by a monster! He sprayed this gas in your face and you passed out!"

"Oh! I don't remember anything like that happening. But to be fair I don't remember anything from yesterday so.."

"But all that matters is you're okay!"

"Amarille everyone's staring! What do I do?!"

"Just ignore them!"

"Just ignore them?! I was kidnapped in broad daylight and you think I can just ignore them?!"

"Well just tell them you don't know what happened and you just woke up in your bed this morning."

"Alright.."

"Hey Rosie are you alright?!" Says Daniel.

"I'm fine! Why can't anybody just leave me alone for one second?! I don't know what happened!!"

After that I just snapped and ran away but Daniel followed.

"Hey it's okay. Everybody just cares about you that's all. They just wanted to make sure you were safe."

"I know I know but it's really stressful shaving all these people ask you these questions that you can't answer!" I say crying into Daniels arms.

"Hey it's the end of the day.. how about I walk you home."

"Yeah okay." I say

I really want to tell her about what happened last night, but I know if I do she'll ask me questions about how I know. So for now I'll just have to keep it to myself. We reach her house and I drop her off.

"You sure you're okay?" I ask

"Yeah thanks for walking me home."

"No problem."

As if my day couldn't have gotten any worse, I start to hear people screaming outside my window. I go out to see and it's that dreaded monster again! He's back and he must be stronger than ever.

"TRANSFORM!"

I run to the scene and try to fight the fumes with my flowers but nothings working! It's like his fumes are impenetrable! Echo shows up all mad.

"Ugh! I thought I got rid of this guy!"

"Well looks like you didn't so what do we do know??"

"Sapphire, try using your fire powers maybe they'll diffuse the effects of the fumes."

"Alright I'll try! It worked!!"

"Alright now tie him up in your vines!"

"Already on it!"

"I'll blast him with my treble clefs and bingo! He's done for!!"

*a few hours later*

"Hey Sapphire?"

"Yeah Echo?"

"Where were you last night?" He asks

"I- um I was out stopping a burglary. Why?"

"Well it's cause I already fought that guy last night and I don't know I was just wondering where you were."

"Oh okay." Whew that was close.

"I got to go. Bye Sapphire!"

"Bye Echo!"
