Suzuki at work

morning, after Suzuki's done with his routine he checked his status. It looks like his art stats has increased to 17 and he got 3 points from his grinding last night 'Hmm, though it doesn't increased that much it still worth something' Suzuki thought as he nods his head 'Still what should I buy if I had enough points? right now I only have 18 points now so should I buy a spell if I had enough or save it for later?' Suzuki ponders for a while then he heard a knock from his door. As usual Suzuki take his bag and opened his door to see Alicia

"Good morning Suzuki-kun" Alicia said and Suzuki also greeted Alicia then they went down stairs to meet Chitose then they went to school together. Like usual Chitose was clinging to Suzuki while Alicia is walking besides them as they walk to school and everything went normally like usual then they saw a beautiful blonde girl in front of them, it was Caroline

"Go-good morning-desuwa" Caroline said as she blushed a little

"Good morning" Suzuki, Alicia and Chitose replied

"It's rare to see you walking Caroline, usually you came to school earlier than us" Suzuki said

"We-well i-it's just that I woke up a little bit late-desuwa" Caroline said while not making eye contact with Suzuki, this made Suzuki suspicious then he looked at her condition 'Her feet are shaking and there is a two empty bottle in her hands' Suzuki thought as he sigh 'Why can't you just be honest and say that you are waiting for us' Suzuki commented in his mind as he shook his head

"In that case why don't we walk to school together" Alicia said, Caroline twitch a little bit when she heard this

"Al-alright th-then since it ca-can't be help I guess I'm go-going to join you guys-desuwa" Caroline said in an imposing manner while blushing

"Yay Carol-nee is going with us!" Chistose said as let go of Suzuki then hugged Caroline

"Yes Chi-chan how about we walk together-desuwa" Caroline suggested

"Alright Carol-nee!" Chitose said with a cheerful smile as they walk in front of Suzuki and Alicia

"They are quite fond of each other aren't they?" Suzuki said with a wry smile while feeling a little sad, it just felt like when your daughter was walking with you while holding hands and when she saw their friends she just let go and left you there alone that kind of feeling

"Yes apparently when we were looking around the club they were talking about something they are fond of and that made them respect each other" Alicia said

"Hmm, do you know what were they talking about?" Suzuki asked

"I don't know the details but maybe they were talking about their hobbies?" Alicia said, it looks like there is a question mark on top of her head. Then she blush a little bit remembering something

"Well whatever as long as they are happy it's fine" Suzuki said as he sighed

"You are right, also we need to get going or else we will be late" Alicia said then Suzuki and Alicia started to walk in the same direction as Chitose and Caroline

As Alicia and Suzuki was chatting, Caroline and Chitose was happily chatting while linking arms

"So~ how is your relationship with Ryu-kun, Chi-chan?" Caroline asked with a warm smile

"He he it as you can see Carol-nee! he is treating me like a lady!" Chitose said excitedly

"Wah! so bold-desuwa~ is it going like in those novels that you told me-desuwa?" Caroline asked while blushing a little bit, truthfully the reason why Caroline and Chitose was so friendly with each other is because of novel! yes novel, Caroline had a lot of western novels while Chitose had a lot of Mochi island's novels so they when talked about novels they were chatting so happily together and so they become friends in a few days and they already exchanged their mail addresses.

"Not yet! now it just a matter of time before he embrace me and we will have our first night together!" Chitose said with straight face

'Do-does she mean th-that Suzuki going to pu-push her down and ki-ki-kiss her?!' Caroline thought as her face got hotter

Caroline had read many romance novels none of them are 18+ because all of her novels are hand me downs and they are already filtered by her father before it was given to her so her knowledge regarding the other sex goes until kissing only other than that was a mystery for her

"Wa-wa-wa-wa ar-are you su-sure that yu-you are me-mentally prepared fo-for that-desuwa!!" Caroline said while blushing

"Of course I'm ready for that in fact I'm waiting for that!" Chitose said excitedly

"Bu-but you will sp-spend the night together-desuwa!!" Caroline protested

'We are just going to sleep together' Chitose thought as she remember the time where she would sleep in one bed with Alicia together 'That would be fun wouldn't it' Chitose thought

If Caroline books passed the censorship test Chitose's book didn't have a filter so sometime there will be some 18+ books that she bought because the name interested her and most of them are very detailed but Chitose had a pure mind so she doesn't understand what those sexual words mean and she often would go to Alicia to ask about the meaning and Alicia would blush while explaining it flusteredly in a gentler way but Chitose misunderstood this and thought those word are just rare word that only used on novels and not on real live, so when her friends asked her about it she just answered what Alicia just said to her and her friend thought she just reads normal romance novel but the truth is most of Chitose's book are pretty hard core but she disliked them and just store them under her bed to collect dust. If anyone was a hard core fan of H-novel and they saw Chitose's stored collections they will nod in satisfaction at what they saw there

"Don't worry Carol-nee! I already know from the start that Ryu-senpai is my prince!" Chitose said proudly while she reminiscing the time where Suzuki had saved her and that made Chitose blush up until her ears while grinning widely

'Oh! How lovely-desuwa! I wonder when could I meet my prince too-desuwa' Caroline thought, because most of Caroline's favorite romance book are fairy tales about a prince that saves the princess and she always dream of meeting him one day

"I wish you the best luck Chi-chan!" Caroline happily said

"Yeah thanks!" Chitose happily replied as they walk together still linking arms

When they reached the school Chitose went ahead first after hugging Suzuki once and then Suzuki, Alicia and Caroline entered the school and went to their shoe locker. When Suzuki opened his shoe locker there was more love letters in there then yesterday, Suzuki was overwhelm with what he saw there 'Why are there more here than yesterday? did those girls from yesterday told them or did they found their courage today?' Suzuki thought then some one tapped his shoulder from behind and Suzuki turn around to see it was Caroline and for some reason was blushing

"Hey Ryu-kun are those lo-love letters-desuwa?" Caroline asked as she fidget while still blushing

"Yes they are, why did you ask?" Suzuki said

"It wa-was nothing I'm just curious-desuwa" Caroline said as she smiled awkwardly while still blushing 'Oh my gosh-desuwa! how could sweet little Chi-chan has that many rivals! but she sound so confident before though' Caroline thought as she remembered Chitose words from before

"Well it's nothing much Carol-san, mostly he will be busy breaking other girls hearts" Natsuki who arrived out of no where said

"It's not like I want to do that!! and good morning" Suzuki said

"Yeah morning, by the way do you think there will be a confession today?" Natsuki said while grinning

"I hope not because it will be very troublesome" Suzuki said

"Good luck" Natsuki said as she saluted and Suzuki saluted back

"Is this situation is fine-desuwa?" Caroline asked Alicia

"What do you mean?" Alicia said

"Don't you feel bad for Chi-chan who looks like she is in love with Ryu-kun see him with a lot of love letters-desuwa?" Caroline asked with concern

"Not really, Chi-chan already saw the piles of letters in Ryu-kun's locker yesterday and she looks like she was okay with it" Alicia said as she tried to remember what Chitose looked like yesterday when she saw the letters while Caroline still looks worried

It was true that Chitose felt that there is nothing wrong with the letters in Suzuki's locker because from the novels that she read most of the time the heroine will encounter this and they will still be the number one girl in the end after a lot of hardship, so Chitose was positive because she was confident that she could beat (physically) any of her rivals in the future

"Well we won't know if we don't asked the person her self, so cmon let's just go to class" Alicia said

Then Suzuki followed by Alicia and Natsuki went to class while Caroline followed behind them looking like she was in deep thought. Like usual they went to their respective seats where Caroline sits in the front left corner of the class while still looking a bit dazed and Suzuki, Alicia and Natsuki went to the back of the class to sit at their own seats while chatting then soon after that the bell rings and all of the students went back to their seats, not long after that the teacher entered the class and began the lesson. Luckily there was no confession letter for Suzuki today. After a few hours of studying the bell rung to show it was lunch time. Suzuki, Alicia, and Natsuki stood up from their chair after preparing their lunchboxes then Caroline approached them while blushing slightly then they head out. As they walk the hall way while chatting suddenly they saw a person with a white mask with a black tear mark that cover the right half of their face standing imposingly in front of them, it was Akira, she was holding a lunchbox in her right hand while on her left hand she was holding a shuffled 9x9 rubik's cube

"Hey! Ryu-kun!! why didn't you invite me for lunch yesterday!" Akira said angrily

Suzuki didn't how to respond then he just gave a wry smile "Well yesterday you looked very busy Shima-san" Suzuki said, yesterday Akira was busy sorting out paper in her desk so Suzuki didn't asked her because he didn't want to bother her work

"You could have asked me but you just ignored me and goes with that loner!" Akira said while crossing her arms in dissatisfaction

"That was uncalled for-desuwa!" Caroline said angrily

"But still stay alone in class and didn't try to make friends with other people" Akira said sharply

"Ugh!" Caroline grunted

"What ever for abandoning your comrade yesterday I command you to let me joined you guys for lunch!" Akira said proudly

"Why should I let you?" Suzuki said coldly

"But aren't we friends?" Akira said

"Since when?" Suzuki said

"Since that time I joined you guys visiting the clubs" Akira said

"You didn't joined but crashed in while we were looking around the non sports club, so tell me now why should I invite you to lunch if you act like this every time" Suzuki said while folding his arms, this action gave Akira a strong pressure

"B-but I didn't disturb you as much as last time" Akira said

"And?" Suzuki said coldly

Akira who looked like she's going to cry soon then she looked at Suzuki and then bowed down "Pl-please do-don't leave me" Akira said as a few tears fall down from her face

The onlookers that saw this was baffled they all know how stubborn the Witch who is the club leader of the non sports club can be but they never thought that the new kid (Suzuki) could make her bow down, though he didn't need to make her cry

"Ryu-kun! apologize now!" Alicia said angrily while Natsuki who is beside her is grinning looking interested in this situation and Caroline still don't understand what is going on

"Yeah Ryu-kun how could you abandon her after all of the things you did to her while you are alone together" Natsuki said while emphasizing the word alone together

"Since when we were alone together?! and do say something that will make people misunderstand!!" Suzuki retorted then Akira creep in closer to Suzuki

"Pl-please" Akira said with teary eyes while looking with two big cute eyes

Suzuki felt his heart ached with guilt when he saw this "Ugh! fine I don't mind you coming along with us and I will only apologize if you apologized first!" Suzuki said

"*sniff* Thank you" Akira said happily as she wiped her tear away

After that they walk along the hallways together towards the stairs to go to the roof, as they were walking away from the location before the onlookers was excitedly discussing about what happen before, it looks like Suzuki will receive another title soon. Suzuki's group has reached roof and then they ate lunch while chatting happily chatting then they head back to class. In class a discussion started to determined what are they going to do in upcoming fall festival. Every one was voting for their favorite and that was Maid cafe, Costume cafe, Haunted cafe and so on 'Why are all of the vote goes for cafes?!" Suzuki retorted in his mind but in the end the class is still struggling to choose what do they want to do then a female student raised her hand

"How about we do a coffee shop instead?" the female student asked, the suggestion received a very positive result from her classmates

"That sound good but how are we going to get the equipment or the type of coffee we are going to sell?" a male student asked

"Oh we can ask Ryu-kun! since he work in a nearby coffee shop maybe he could borrow some unused equipment from them" another male student said then all of the eyes on the class was lock on Suzuki they had a look of hope as they see him

"We-well let me try asking my boss if we could borrow some equipment ok" Suzuki said

The girl that suggested the idea nodded in satisfaction and it was an unanimous vote for the coffee shop followed by a costume cafe if they Suzuki could borrow the equipment then the school bell rung again showing it was time to go home. Suzuki said goodbye to Alicia and Chitose who are going home earlier than him near the shoe lockers and then he went to the school gates, as he walks looked left and right and he saw that Toshiaki was waiting near the gate. As Suzuki walks closer Toshiaki noticed him and smiled beautifully

"Did you want long?" Suzuki asked

"No I just got here a few minutes ago" Toshiaki replied

'Why so I feel like we are a couple for some reason' Suzuki thought "Well let's go to your aunt's cafe then" Suzuki said

"Okay!" Toshiaki said happily

Right now it was almost 4 p.m. before Suzuki goes back home together with Alicia and Chitose first then he goes back here after he put his things at 5 p.m. he was an hour earlier than usual today. As they walk along the streets near the coffee shop they could see there is a lot of people in there wearing different clothes from suits to school clothes. Then they arrived at the employee door of Sol Latte and they entered and went to the employee lounge. Suzuki changed his clothes then he went with Toshiaki to the boss's office then Suzuki knocked on the door after a few moments some one answered the door, it was Mina

"Good afternoon Satou-kun and also Toshi-kun" Mina said, before Suzuki already explained why does he have another name

"Good afternoon" Suzuki and Toshiaki said

"Come inside for awhile" Mina said as she beckoned them

Suzuki and Toshiaki then came inside and sit on the chair in front of Mina

"Alright I've your circumstances from Satou-kun here, so tell me why do you wanted to become manly?" Mina asked

"Erm well to tell you the truth I just wanted my sister to stop treating me like a girl because I looked like one, so by becoming more manlier I hope thar my sister will treat me like a little brother" Toshiaki said looking a little but melancholic

"Alright then I won't ask you anything else, so here is your uniform the pay is the same like Satou-kun is that fine?" Mina said

"Yes it's fine! thanks Mina-san" Toshiaki said as he stood up to shake Mina's hand

"Don't mention it" Mina said while shaking Toshiaki' hand

"Also Kobayashi-san I need to talk to you later after work so please wait for a while" Suzuki said as he stood up

"Ok then I'll wait in my office until your shift is done, now then get working you two!" Mina said then she stood up and pushed Suzuki and Toshiaki out from the office

"Good luck you two today is a busy day" Mina said while smiling then she closed the door

"Alright cmon Toshi change your clothes first I'll wait here" Suzuki said

"Okay Senpai!" Toshiaki said then he walks away to the employee lounge and changed his clothes soon after that he returned wearing the same barista outfit as Suzuki then they head to the main section of the cafe

Though it was just a few minutes after Toshiaki just started being a barista was much harder than he thought because he need to do a lot of things just like taking the order. For the first time in Toshiaki life he heard so many combination of coffee just like this

"Excuse me I like to order" a male costumer said

"Ye-yes what wo-would you like?" Toshiaki asked nervously

"Yes I would like a grande Half-Caff with 2% milk and a grande iced Mocha with whole milk to go please" the male costumer said

Toshiaki's mind was spinning 'Wh-what kind of coffee are those suppose to be?! Half-caff, grande, 2% milk what does that mean?!' Toshiaki thought while panicking, he was making "Wa wa wa wa" as he tried to understand what the costumer just said then Suzuki went beside him

"Alright sir your grande Half-Caff with 2% milk will come soon also could I have your name?" Suzuki asked

"Oh! yes, my name is Frank" the male costumer said

"Thank you Frank that will be a 100 Juls" Suzuki said then the costumer give Suzuki a 500 Juls bill and then Suzuki handed to Toshiaki

"Give him the change" Suzuki said as he smiled

'You are so kind Senpai!' Toshiaki thought as he take the change for a 500 Juls bill and handed the costumer four 100 Juls bill then the costumer head back to an empty chair after he got his coffee

"Well I think handling the register is too hard for a beginner how about you help with making the coffee there, just asked them if you don't understand anything" Suzuki said while smiling

"O-okay Senpai" Toshiaki said while feeling downcast as he walk towards the coffee machine then he looked back to see Suzuki was busy handling the costumer's order 'I must be better than this! I can't be saved by Senpai all the time!' Toshiaki said as he slapped his cheek to motivate him self

But sadly he still don't know anything about the machine so he was asked to fill the machine with coffee beans instead then after he finished refilling the machine he was asked to clean the tables then he went to clean dirty tables. When Toshiaki looked around it looks like there is more female costumer than male and some of them are holding their phones and taking picture of him and that made him blush then he saw other costumer was taking picture in a different direction, it was at Suzuki direction. A young friendly handsome barista was something that the female costumer came for and the took candid pictures of Suzuki as he smiled while giving his service. As Toshiaki was distracted by how much people was taking picture of Suzuki silently he was called by a female costumer

"Excuse me" the female costumer said

"Ye-yes is there something wrong?" Toshiaki asked nervouly

"Nothing I just want you to do a latte art" the female costumer said while smiling

"Erm, but I don't know how to it" Toshiaki said

"Aw, that is sad but could you call another employee to do the art?" the female costumer asked

"O-okay I'll be back soon" Toshiaki said as he retreated back to the register then he asked other employee to help him out but all of the shook their heads and apologize to him because they are still busy with what they are doing then his shoulder was tapped by someone from behind, it was Suzuki who is smiling while giving a leave this to me gesture then he went to the female costumer

"Are you the costumer that wanted a latte art?" Suzuki asked

"Oh~ yes I'm the one that order that" the female costumer said happily

"Well do you have any request for the art?" Suzuki asked as he lifted the coffee cup and a cup of milk

"Hmm, I don't know but could you give me something that shows something romantic?" the female costumer said

"Something romantic, alright wait for a while" Suzuki said the he started to move his hand that held the cup of milk and pour the milk into the coffee quickly then he put down the cup in front of the costumer

The art that Suzuki made was a heart that is pierced by Cupid's arrow and the costumer that receive the coffee smiled beautifully while blushing

"Wh-what do yo-you call this art?" the female costumer asked shyly

"Oh! it's the I've fallen in love with your beautiful smile" Suzuki said while smiling gently at the costumer and that made the female costumer blush until it reached her ears the other female costumer and Toshiaki who is besides Suzuki was blushing as they saw was is happening

"Co-could you re-repeat that ag-again pl-please" the costumer said shyly

"I've fallen in love with your beautiful smile" Suzuki said happily while smiling, that made the female costumer blush intensely while grinning and that also made all of the female costumer squeal in excitement at what they saw and they began ordering the same just like what that female costumer and Suzuki was busy with the latte art until his quitting time then Suzuki and Toshiaki went to the employee lounge to change clothes. As they changed clothes Suzuki noticed the expression on Toshiaki's face

"Good work today Toshi" Suzuki said while smiling

"Ye-yeah you too Senpai" Toshiaki said while looking downcast he felt like he didn't help out at all and just made Suzuki more busy with his work

"If you are worried about what happen before don't worry that kind of thing happens too so don't feel to bad about it" Suzuki said while smiling awkwardly as he remembered the latte art incident

"Bu-but Senpai you were amazing out there, you we so confident and you smile at every costumer while giving the service" Toshiaki said

"Well I don't start perfect I do have some problem when I started working like giving the costumer wrong coffee of I mess up my latte art, so don't worry you will get the hang of it" Suzuki said in a comforting tone

'So Senpai has problem too' Toshiaki thought then he regained his confidence "Alright Senpai! I will do my best so please watch over me!" Toshiaki said as he packed his stuff then headed to the door

"Yes and do be careful on the road" Suzuki said and Toshiaki replied with a nod then he left

Suzuki after he finished packing his stuff he went to Mina's office. Suzuki knocked on the door then he heard enter from inside and opened the door

"Good work today Satou-kun" Mina said while smiling

"Yes Good work today Kobayashi-san" Suzuki said

"Cmon have a seat" Mina said as she pointed at a chair in front of her, Suzuki then sit down on the chair

"So what did you want to talk about?" Mina asked

"It's about my school, you see we are going to have our fall festival in a month so we were thinking of making a coffee shop so I'm here to ask could we borrow some of the unused equipment here?" Suzuki asked

"I don't mind but how about this since I'm doing you a favor, could you also do something for me?" Mina said

"If it is within my abilities" Suzuki said

"You see the my cousin that I told you about is very shy she doesn't like making contact with anyone except with our family member or her close friends, so could you please go out with her in the fall festival so she would be so shy?" Mina asked while putting both of her hands in front of her face

"Hmm, is she the author of Caramelize that you told me before?" Suzuki asked

"Yes she is, why do you ask?" Mina said confused

"Oh nothing it just that I would love to do it because I'm a big fan of Caramelize!" Suzuki said excitedly

"Is that so? I guess she will be happy to talk to her fans once in a while, so we have a deal right Satou-kun?" Mina said as she asked Suzuki for a handshake

"Yes thank you for everything Kobayashi-san" Suzuki said as he grabbed onto Kobayashi's hand and shook her hand

"So just tell me when are you going to have the festival and I will prepare the necessary things for you" Mina said

"Okay I will tell you later, See you tomorrow Kobayshi-san" Suzuki said as he waved at Mina while going to the door

"Yes see you tomorrow" Mina said as she waved at Suzuki

Suzuki then went home and the clock showed it was 7:30 P.M. then he changed his clothes took a bath and ate dinner then he grind his points with writing again then went to sleep at !0 P.M. Soon enough tomorrow arrive and Suzuki goes to school like usual with Alicia and Chitose together and told the Class rep (Akira) the good news and that day there is a few girls that wanted to confessed but it's on a later date and the school ended as Suzuki had fun hanging out with Natuski, Caroline and Akira at lunch then he went home with Alicia and Chitose together and he prepared him self for tomorrow. because tomorrow is the day when Suzuki is going to visit Caroline at her home
