94. Happy Birthday and Murdering Broccoli

"Shi Ai!" Qingshan cried out, rushing over to his friend that night. Shi Ai glanced up at him, breaking his gaze from Xiuhuan, who was on the other side of the cafeteria with some of his clan members. "Oh my god! Why didn't you tell me it was your birthday yesterday?!"

"I… How did you know?" Shi Ai asked softly as Liu and Qingshan joined him at his table. Chonglin and Xiumin were soon to join.

"Dongwu was thinking about it all day," Qingshan told him. "You invited him over but not us?!"

"Everett did, not me," Shi Ai said. "I didn't think it was important.."

"Of course it's important!" Chonglin cried out, putting something on the table. It was a giant present wrapped up in purple wrapping paper. There was a giant golden bow tied around it. "Happy birthday!"

"Thank you…" Shi Ai said, staring at the present.

"I'm sorry," Xiumin said, quietly. "I'm sorry I've been so mean to you… I was just upset we didn't get to go with you to Thailand."
