Entertain me!

After he absorbed the life force of the injured wolf, he turned his attention towards the rest. With his eyes, he could see that all the wolves were spread out, other than a bunch of them being around the Boss. The dungeon boss seemed to have noticed Iono, but it didn't pay much attention to a Cell Reverberation child. The Boss thought that their numbers could overwhelm it.

Iono realized what was happening and a huge grin appeared on his face. "Let's have some fun!", he thought.

He stabilized his footing and closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his pupils had become dark red, and unfathomable. His core started rotating intensively, increasing its speed by the second. All the Prana saved in his body came bursting out, creating an invisible force around him.

His hair danced in the Prana, while his eyes shone with a murderous light, and thick bloodlust exploded out of them. It combined with the overwhelming amount of Prana, multiplying the pressure exerted on the poor beasts.

Every activity in the dungeon stopped and everything went silent.

All of the Green Wolves under Blood vessel tempering almost fainted because of the pressure, while those above it, started whimpering like dogs. The hair on their entire body perked up, as their bestial instincts screamed at them to run away.

A predator was present.

The boss's eyes went wide in fear and surprise as it felt the pressure weighing on its body. It momentarily thought that it glimpsed at its death. Iono's presence made the hair on its neck stand up. It immediately jumped on its feet and took a look around to see its most favoured soldiers wearing a face of terror.

Iono was grinning from ear to ear and barely a moment later, he stopped releasing all that energy. It was his way of saying "I'm coming for you". He only let his presence loose for barely a second, but it seemed like much longer to the wolves.

After the weight on their bodies disappeared, they stood in a trance, unable to move out of fear. But they quickly regained their senses, only to run for the exit. This dungeon now felt more like their tomb rather than their home.

Iono waited by the entrance, with his scythe in his hand, to intercept them all. It was time to harvest.

One by one the creatures came running for the entrance, but when they realized who was waiting for them they stopped so abruptly that they started bumping into one another.

After squaring off with the unknown threat, and showing off their fangs, as a message of strength, the pack realized that they had enough numbers to break through... Or at least so they thought. The strongest among them rushed towards the intruder, while the rest followed.

Iono's grin never left his face as he applied Prauna to his whole body. His muscles started to twitch, getting bigger. After all, Aura was the manifestation of physical strength, the stronger the body the stronger the Aura. But with Prauna, as long as the Prana is strong enough, the body will change to follow. As a Human/Goblin Lord, Iono's strength was quite high, both because of his race and training as well.

Therefore when he applied the Prauna his body was many times more durable than the beasts he was facing. He grabbed the handle of the scythe and as the beasts were running towards him, he made a simple motion, just like harvesting wheat, and split the first row of wolves into two pieces. This made the ones following them immediately come to a stop. By the time the two halves of each body fell on the floor, the blood had covered the whole cavern, and its metallic smell made their noses twitch.

By the time they realized what happened Iono had returned to his stance and was waiting for them, still wearing that creepy grin on his face. They realized this meant death for the next who steps forward. They were stuck in a standoff, but that was simply because Iono wasn't moving yet. After a few seconds of no movement, Iono's grin disappeared and he relaxed his body, standing straight.

"You guys bore me, have some backbone, for the love of... well, Randell.", he said laughing to himself. The wolves let their guards down because of his relaxed pause and laughter, which also signalled their doom because, in the next moment, the reaper's scythe was around one of their necks. Before they could even turn their heads, one of their comrades' heads flew off in the air.

They all immediately tensed up once again and jumped backwards, and spread out to gain distance. But what came next terrified them to their very bones. Meeting a predator is normal, every beast goes through the experience at least once in its life. But the scene in front of them was something even scarier.

All the blood of their fallen comrades, started bulging and moving, gathering in the middle of them and forming a blood sphere, right in front of the predator that came to hunt them down. By the time the whole blood was collected, Iono plunged his hand into the sphere, and green strands started entering his body through his veins.

*Ding*

" 'User' has slain 10 Green Wolves!

'User' has acquired 26 Life force!

23 life force is required for level 1!"

Iono closed his eyes and heard the notification in his head. He placed the strings in his core to be refined. He didn't care about closing his eyes in front of an enemy because the enemy was frozen in its tracks unable to comprehend what was happening.

"Well then, why don't you guys entertain me for a while.", he said and once again grinned widely...

Somewhere on the outskirts of the Celestial Realm...

*AHH!*

*BOOM!*

*Clank!*, *Clank!*

A bloody battlefield was covering a very vast plane. There were two sides, one of them consisting of all kinds of creatures and monsters.

From Giants to Insects and from Demons to Angels. All sorts of creatures were fighting against an army of humans that were wearing majestic, golden armour.

These creatures although different in size and features, shared crimson pupils and strange tattoos. It was one thing that they all had in common.

Inside the blood, the screaming and the sound of metal clashing, not many things could be discerned. It was hell incarnate.

Out of nowhere, a rainbow light descended from the sky, and a giant explosion occurred on a corner of the battlefield. Smoke filled the area and lowered the visibility. It startled the ones fighting in the place, so they all stopped to look at this unknown threat.

Suddenly, from inside the smoke, a red staff with engraved, golden ends, and a mystical, golden scarf tied at both ends appeared from the smoke and enlarged until it was as big as a mountain. It gathered the attention of everyone before it swept all the enemies in front of it. With that sweep, the smoke also cleared to reveal someone.

A tall man, who had the face and build of an ape. He was wearing baggy pants, that seemed to be dyed red from the blood of giants, and a silver-coloured armour covered his upper body. There was a golden headband on his head, and his hands were covered by two red gloves, that left his fingers exposed, and had holes on the top as if a piece of jewellery was missing from them.

The man's piercing gaze swept through the battlefield, along with his staff, smashing enemies left and right. The pressure he exerted was so heavy that his opponents were not even usable as training dolls. He spun his staff all around his body, enlarging it to deal with enemies far away, and shrinking it to deal with the enemies close to him.

He fought for half an hour, and even if he was in a completely different league from the crimson-eyed army, he didn't even clear a tenth of it. They were simply so many of them.

He stopped for a moment because he felt something. He looked up at the sky, and the bloody fog that was present was starting to dissipate.

The sky lit up, as a spectacular glow illuminated the battlefield.

The scene resembled the opening of the Gates of Heaven.

The clouds moved to the side as if they wanted to make space for someone to appear. He was sitting in a lotus position, in the air, and had his hands pressed together as if he was meditating mid-air.

His body and face resembled that of an ape, but the features were much more clear and much more majestic than the monkey man.

He also wore baggy, crimson trousers, but they looked like they were made from the finest of silks. A tail extended from the back and was wrapped around his waist. His upper body was bare, other than two, golden pauldrons on each of his shoulders, and on his right arm, a golden, upper arm cuff that circled his bulging bicep.

A plain, but incredibly powerful, golden fillet tightly wrapped around his forehead.

Two brown gloves with two blue jewels covered his hands but left his fingers exposed.

The moment he appeared, the pressure exerted by his mere presence, made every single entity on that battlefield kneel.

It was as if a True God had descended

Nimbus kneeled himself. For some reason, he was immune to the pressure but chose to kneel anyway.

The majestic figure opened his eyes. At first, his scleras were entirely golden, and after a few moments, they cleared, to reveal two golden Irises and two white pupils.

He opened his voice, and spoke,

"Nimbus!"

The sky trembled and the earth cracked open by that one word.

That one word was so heavy, many of the forces on the ground vomited blood and died on the spot. Their bodies couldn't take it.

"Yes, master!", Nimbus replied and flew to the figure.

He appeared in front of him and placed the staff he had in his hands, in a giving gesture.

The figure moved one of his hands and grabbed the staff.

The moment he did, the staff itself illuminated, and its surface started cracking.

After a few seconds, the cover broke, but the staff itself was so bright that no one could see what it looked like.

The figure looked directly at Nimbus and understanding his intentions Nimbus nodded.

Suddenly Nimbus's body started breaking down into a cloud and floated up in the sky.

A cumulonimbus appeared above the battlefield, rattling with lighting. It seemed as if thought thunder dragons and lighting serpents were fighting inside it.

The man held the extremely bright staff with one of his hands and raised the other one to the sky. He was at the centre of the dark cloud.

"Rain down, Somersault cloud!"

His voice echoed.

From the cloud, all those lighting serpents and thunder dragons combined into one gigantic bolt of lightning that struck the ground with incredible speed, and spread out to the whole battlefield, instantly killing every single crimson-eyed creature.

A moment of silence on the bloody battlefield.

This was true power!

This was a God!

The figure crosses his legs once again, and the cumulonimbus shrunk and placed itself under him. Its colour had now changed to bright yellow.

The figure clapped his hands once and turned around to leave, in a glamorous light.

But suddenly the battlefield turned into complete darkness.

Even the brilliance of the golden staff couldn't illuminate it anymore.

The figure stopped in its tracks and slowly turned around.

From the darkness, a vile and deep voice echoed shuddering all of the remaining soldiers.

"SUN WUKONG!!"
