--------------------------

It's been two weeks since Iono started training, and he is halfway through the Flesh Tempering stage. He has the routine of waking up, spending time with his parents, and then training till nightfall.

Now, the training was even more arduous, and consisted of him punching a tree in horse stance. The sun would illuminate his now smooth body, as he would punch at a tree frantically, and sweat would drip down his cheeks.

He would take breaks every one hour, to catch his breath, and then he would resume punching. His punches would echo throughout the forest, sometimes making the leaves of trees fall on the ground.

A couple of kilometers away from Iono's location, Inside a small cave, one could hear sharp snoring. It was too dark to see anything, and only a pink snout could be discerned. Suddenly, a small ape, jumped in the cave. It looked like he came here by swinging from tree to tree. He was brown with purple streaks all over his fur, and his expression showed clear annoyance.

He walked in the cave and flicked the pink snout, making the large, sleeping creature flinch. It opened its drowsy eyes to look at the monkey, and yawned, looking sleepy. The monkey backed of while the creature stretched. The creature laid down, with its paws, laying on one-another. His eyes, now open, were deep blue, and radiated arrogance.

"Garto gur gul?"*, said the huge creature in a tired voice. "A human boy is messing up the south side of the forest. He has been there for months but only recently did he start hitting the trees. The noise is annoying! Go and do something!", yelled the ape, clearly annoyed.

"First of all, Roshi, speak in monster tongue. Human speech makes me move my tongue too much and I don't like it. Second of all, this is Yusef's territory, what do you expect me to do? It must be one of the younglings of the village. Don't mess with him, unless you want Yusef coming here and blasting you sorry ass.

If he doesn't stop for a whole month, then come annoy me again. I am going to sleep." The huge pink snout said, as its eyes disappeared in the darkness, and a few moments later the sharp snoring returned.

"You're just scared to do something, you big oaf!" yelled the ape, while he turned to leave, jumping on a branch. He didn't know that, when he said that, the snoring giant opened his left eye for a moment before closing it again.

Meanwhile, back in the south of the forest, Iono was punching the trees, again and again, and again. His form was close to perfection. The horse stance was on point, and the his weight perfectly balanced. His fists, carried the weight of the whole body, and delivered his full strength on the tree trunk. After a while he slammed down on the floor, taking a breather. "A bit more. Just a bit more to enter flesh refining." Iono thought, while jumping back on his feet. This time he changed his stance to *Tiger stance*, and he started swaying. He pivoted on his back foot, to deliver strong kicks, that started to decimate the wood. One could hear the echoes of trees crunching from almost half a mile away.

----------------------------

One month has gone by and Iono was getting louder by the day. He didn't stop, he just kept hitting tree trunks. His Flesh Tempering was reaching perfection. He was close, really close.

The ape looked at Iono with anger, and he swung back to the cave. He swooped inside and saw the behemoth sleeping soundly. He approached him and once again flicked his nose, trying to wake him up. With a same pattern as last time, the pink snout's eyes opened, "If you flick me one more time, I'll eat you alive Roshi.", he said in a calm demeanor.

"Sure, but before you do, eat that f*cking kid first Ballo. If I have to listen to his noise for one more minute, I'll go insane. It's been a month! Day by day by day by day! I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYNORE!", he yelled sounding a little insane.

"For you to go crazy, this kid must be really putting in effort to annoy you.", the deep blue eyes said. In the darkness you could see them rising. The creature walked past Roshi, and to the entrance of the cave. Illuminated by the morning sunlight, one could see a black fur. So black, it absorbed all the light that shone upon it, looking like a hole in the air. From the entrance a giant puma-looking creature emerged, and snorted, to get rid of the dust accumulated inside his snout after sleeping for so long.

"Maybe I'll go scare him a little.", he said with a smug grin, and a playful look on his eyes.
