"So we'll do this once a week, huh?" Cece Said.

"Yeah.... try not to piss off your mistress in the meantime," I responded, she flipped me the bird as I disconnected.

Darkness..... that's what greeted me.

No lie.... it was kinda unsettling, not that I'm not used to darkness or anything, it's just given the contrast of the room earlier.... it's kinda misplaced here. I try to move but notice I'm laying down on something.

"Oh, you're awake now!" Whittle Berry spoke, stroking my face.

"Emmm... Miss Whittle Berry,"

"Just Berry honey.... or Miss Berry if you're into that," She said seductively, I swear I could see her wink even in this darkness.

"Miss Berry...."

"Yes...."

"Why is everywhere dark?"

"Oh honey.... your senses need to resettle themselves, else you'd get a blinding headache, hence why I turned off the lights,"

"Emmm.... Okay? why am I on your bed?"

"I couldn't let you just stand now, could I?"

"The couch would've been fine!"

" How'd I keep you warm then?"

"Are you.... are you naked?"

She laughed.

"No,no... I'm not that type of woman!"

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Then what kind of woman are you?"

"Well.... when we have fun, I wanna make sure it's a time you'll never forget," She whispered softly to me.... not gonna lie, that was kinda hot, but I bet she tells every guy that, I'm not falling for that! No sir, no sir!

"Why's your heart beating so fast? You nervous, honey?" She leaned in closer.

"I...I-I"

"Tell you what.... if you really wanna get to know me better, how bout you come here alone next time, Okay?"

I gulped loudly.

"Good, by the way you'll need this!" She handed me over a Candy.... no a protein bar I think.

"Ah.... now that you mention it I am a bit hungry..."

"I'd be surprised if you weren't! Oh and don't worry about the cash,"

"Why?"

"Georgie already settled that,"

"Where is he by the way?"

"He went to get some food for you,"

In the next moment I heard a familiar set of footsteps, that hard slap his leather sandals made when they hit the floor.

"Boy.... you're awake? Good! I got something!"

Miss Berry clapped her hands and the lights in the room came on, it was near blinding at first but.... my eyes adjusted soon, Sir George gave her a disapproving look, before walking over to the Couch and placing some paper bags on the coffee table.

I sniffed the air and it was something.... spicy and sweet, Something meaty.... Pork? No Beef maybe? And something else Bread, freshly baked Bread.

"Eat up, once you're done we'll head over to the Lodge, you're gonna be staying with me and Arthur until you get your own place,"

The bread.... it was buttery, like someone took their time to measure the exact amount needed to give it this divine taste and the texture was so soft!

In contrast the Beef was crispy and hard, each crunch exploded with righteous flavour, Hot and spicy, Sweet and Sour, Sir George didn't know what I'd like so he just got me the two.

While I enjoyed my meal, Miss Berry sat opposite me, Chatting it up with Sir George, from what they were saying.... turns out this isn't an ordinary Candy store, no.... the candy was codename for something else.

Codeine, Adderall, Nicotine, you name it, she probably had it, infact from the way she spoke, it seems that Protein bar she gave was one of the only normal things in her shop.

She named her stash 'Herbs' though, maybe to make it sound like a legitimate business and not some back alley drug den.

Meaning.... those guys upstairs were literally gambling with drugs! Kinda messed up now that I think about it, not that gambling with Candy was normal either....

Anyways Sir George needed some cookies for Vince, said he's having those headaches again, I can only imagine what's in those, Miss Berry fetched some and Sir George slipped her some cash, 30k in total.
