One - Two Weird Children

"Ah! We're finally here!" Kagami yawns as the pair walk out of the airport.

"I remember that Verona said that she is going to meet us here." Alex notes, "I didn't see her on the same plane as us."

"Verona-neechan?"

A voice, tender and innocent, come from just behind them.

"WHA-! You know here?! Who are you?" Kagami is shocked to know that there is a little girl behind them. This girl has a silver-white hair tied into two loose braids with open curls, a pair of black-framed glasses and the eyes of sky blue. An innocent smile spread across her face. She looks like she is 12 years old.

"Onii-san, did I scared you? I'm really sorry."

"Uh... It's fine..." Kagami smiles weakly.

"We were called here to meet with you." Another cold voice comes from the front.

"Who-Who is it now...?"

"Do you detest me without even knowing me?" As Kagami turns around, there is a girl in front of him. Eyes of pure darkness, pale skin, long black hair with straight bangs just above the eyebrows. Two strands of hair just beside the bangs on each side gives an interesting shape: straight, then into three open curls. She looks like she's 15, but the expression on her face looks serious, cold and mature. The hair on Kagami's neck stands up.

"Who... are you lot?" Alex freezes for a second because of the sudden introduction of new people, then says.

"Oh, my name is Chiharu Atsuko. And she is Katsuki Shizuko." Chiharu says warmly, the background shines in sparkles as she makes a cute face (She is totally faking it because she is actually really nervous in the heart), "We're friends of Verona Christine. Nice to meet you both!" Chiharu reaches a hand out for a handshake.

"O-oh... Nice to meet you..." Kagami shakes her hand. Then Alex.

"As expected from Taiga Kagami and Alexandra Garcia, the professionals..." The glasses of Chiharu reflects the light.

"Huh? How do you..."

"Ah, did Verona-neechan told you? I'm the one with good deduction skills and told her how to deduce from a handshake."

"But you're..."

"See, miss, age doesn't matter here." Katsuki sighs.

"Okay... What are you doing here? How do you know our names?" Alex asks.

"As you know, Verona did some research on you and found out your names. She told us about meeting you guys on the streets yesterday and said that if her plane delays, which it is, we are going to come and get you. She also stated that she will meet us in front of there." Chiharu states.

"Coming to get us? What does she mean?" Kagami looks awfully confused.

"She means what she means." Katsuki says, "As you are living in America, the others move on to college, and Verona is going to the same college as the Generation of Miracles."

"That means... Kuroko's there with them as well?" Kagami starts to get excited.

"Yeah. I called my sister. She'll drive you there."

"To where?"

"To the college."

Kagami, Alex, Chiharu and Katsuki stands in front of the average tall building with big writings across it: Ronguhen Daigaku (ロングヘン 大学). It's already afternoon, and classes are about to end.

"So they study in here, huh..." Kagami says.

"Verona-neechan will be here in any second. Oh, yeah, by the way, Kuroko Tetsuya, right? He is having trouble with the debts he's going to pay, so he works part-time in cafes..." Chiharu says.

"Wait, Kuroko is having trouble with going to college? Why didn't you say it earlier?" Kagami starts to get angry and instinctively tries to grab the collar of Chiharu's shirt.

That is what you should precisely not do to people who know how to kill.

By instinct, Chiharu dodges it with speed, quickly returns it with a blow on the stomach. You can imagine the pain of the punch at high speed.

"What the hell!" Kagami shouts.

"Kagami-kun?" A familiar voice. It's unmistakenable.

It's Kuroko.

"Oi, Kurokocchi, what are you doing?" That's Ryouta Kise.

"Kagami-kun's back."

"Really?" Daiki Aomine asks.

"You can go see it for yourself, Aomine-kun." Shintarou Midorima says.

"Well, it can't be helped. I'm surprised, though, that Taiga-kun knows that we're in this college." That's Seijurou Akashi speaking.

"I going to buy some snacks..." Atsushi Murasakibara says slowly.

"What a reunion..." Chiharu sighs, "I wish the last time my huge family gathered, they are actually this interested in each other..."

"There is no love in the first place in my family," Katsuki sighs.

"Ah, uh, hi guys..." Kagami says awkwardly.

"Oh, sorry to interrupt the wonderful reunion, but do you know? I believe He wants to go to the same college as you guys!" Verona says in English, smiling from eye to eye.

"Just a question," Kise asks, "who is the lady with white hair?"

"Ah, my name is Verona Christine, and I'm going to be a new student here as well."

"I don't understand English..." Aomine says.

"Um, Aomine-san, she said that her name is Verona Christine, she is going to be a new student here and she said that Kagami-san might want to go to your college," Chiharu says.

"Really? You're going to come to this school? I don't think you'll survive PE." Aomine states seriously, scanning and tries to process the skinny, boney structure of Verona. He stops at the breasts.

Then a wack echoed across the whole school ground.

Yeah, I'm sure you all know what happened.

Aomine covers his stinging face, "Ow, that hurts."

"You don't look around like that, pervert," Verona says, calmly, surprisingly not blushing and with a straight face. Like it always happens. But the eyes are the scariest part on that face, eyes of ruby red turn into a dull red, scarlet.

Silence. Everyone can feel the pressure surrounding them. Then Kise breaks the awkwardness and saves Aomine from death, "Aominecchi, let's go get some snacks with Murasakibaracchi."

"O-okay..." Was all Aomine can manage from the immense pressure of bloodlust Verona had created in about 10 seconds. The 10-second-silence feels like 5 minutes... The three walk away.

"You all are just so naive..." Is all Chiharu and Katsuki can say.

Midorima walks away, pushes his glasses while Akashi approaches Verona, which is quite unexpected, because...

Rule NO. 1: Do not come close to a person who is about to lose control, especially if it's a beast of bloodlust.

Well, he didn't fail to do that and lost his life, because Verona is trying to control the bloodlust right now. All credits to Verona because she saved Akashi's life.

"Are you okay? You look pale..."

"Y-yeah, I'm fine..."

"You're hands are cold. Are you nervous?" Akashi counters the "fine" answer.

"Akashi-san, we would like to have a talk with you." Chiharu says, grabbing Katsuki and Verona's hands, "I would like to talk about this alone, so, Kagami-san, please chase the others if you don't want to be alone, or just stay with Kuroko if you want to."

"Wait, Kuroko's still here? Where is he?" Kagami asks.

"I'm here."

"Ah!! You scared me again..."

"Sorry."

Alex, Kagami and Kuroko watch as the four walks away.

I wonder what they will be talking about... Kuroko thought.
