Chap 4. Severely Malnourished

Tommy and Alisha exited the car, only to go to Astro's and Theo's door, Tommy picked up Theo as Alisha put Astro's hand on her shoulder.

"What..the..fuck.. You didn't tell me we were going to Kritensbirg Hospital!" Theo shrieked like a dog. Some passer-bys gave them weird looks since they were practically all nobles so seeing a boy that had ripped clothing and looked sickly pale was clearly disgusting to them.

"We will pay for the medical bills, no need to worry." Astro stated.

"Then I would need to pay you back! I don't have any money! And I'm not being anyone's servant" Theo said viciously, not even caring about his toxic voice. Astro didn't mind, he understood Theo's reasoning.

Astro thought for a moment before coming up with an excuse, "just take it some rando's kindness, no need to overthink."

Theo tsked before replying in a condescending tone, "All nobles want something in return, there is no such thing as kindness in a nobles eyes."

Astro wasn't that shocked by the man's words, he knew the nobles only became greedier with each passing day, he just didn't expect someone to blatantly state it out in the open like Theo.

"Well, think of it as your first time finding a kind noble." He said as they entered the humongous building that had 'Kirtensbirg Hospital' in huge letters on the front of the building.

They walked to the front counter where a unbothered looking lady sat, in a bored voice she said, "Welcome to Kirtensbirg Hospital, how can I help you?" She said dully.

Astro squeezed Alisha's shoulder slightly and pulled her closer to his body, he put his hand on her head to position her ear near his mouth.

"Show her the token and ask for the best doctor in here." He whispered, Alisha patted his hand to show that she understood.

She reached into her pocket before placing it on the counter, in the direct line of sight of the unbothered lady.

Her eyes widened when she realised what the token was before looking back up at the people infront of her.

She straightened up her posture and changed her tone to a more respectful one, "How may I help you, Your m-" She was cut off before finishing, "Astro, Please call me Astro and this girl, Alisha. Thank you." Astro said with a kind smile appearing on his lips.

The girl was mesmerised by Astro's smile that she didn't respond, "Uh, Yes Astro." She said with a blush appearing on her face.

Tommy rolled his eyes and so did Theo.

"Now, please us take us to the top, you know where." Astro asked.

The woman asked her colleague to take over as she took the prince and princess to the best room in there.

They were soon going up the elevator and reached a humongous room that had a large bed in the center, the sun was shining brightly through the windows giving a rainbow effect on the floor of the room.

"Wow.." Theo uttered, midly impressed with the room.

"Place the patient on the bed, please. I will call the doctor in right away." The now respectful woman explained as she left the room.

Tommy placed Theo on the bed, he then stretched his arms since they had been in the same position for eons. Alisha took Astro to a seat and Theo slowly stretched his limbs.

Only about a minutes later, an old looking man wearing the usual doctor outfit made his way into the room with a pen in his pocket and a notepad beside it.

"Your ma-" And he was cut off straight away by Astro, "Please, call us by our given names. I'm Astro, beside me is Alisha, the other guy that is probably standing up is Tommy, and the guy in the bed is Theo." He introduced everyone. Although it was rude to cut people off, he didn't want Theo to know they were royalty since it was nice not being recognised.

"Yes, Astro. What do you need today?" The old man complied with Astro's request immediately, after all, if royalty asks for something then you can only comply.

"Theo, the one whose in bed, needs a check up. Please proceed as if we aren't here." He explained, with a smile on his face of course.

"Yes, of course." The doctor checked up on Theo, it took only 15-20 minutes.

"His severely malnourished, he would need to be on a strict diet to regain muscle and put on a diet. He would also need to be bed ridden because of how severely malnourished he is, he is also at a high risk of getting diseases or infections." The doctor explained, he looked towards Theo and continued, "It seemed he also hasn't eaten in about 3-4 days which only made him worse off."

Astro nodded and started saying, "How long would he need to be bed ridden for? Also, what would his diet be? You can write it down and hand it to Alisha."

"I would say about 1-2 weeks, his healing abilities are also severely weakened so his wounds aren't properly healed. I will write down the diet for you now." The doctor said as he took out the notepad from his pocket.

The room went quiet as the doctor scribbled down onto the notepad, a few moments later he handed the paper to Alisha. He then left the room, giving the royals space.

"Theo, we're gonna take care of you, I don't care if you don't want our hope because we're still gonna help. But how old are you? I never asked since you were unconscious" Astro commented as he put a hand on his chin, curious about the frail man laying on the bed.

"Around 16 i suppose, I don't know the exact date since I was abandoned at birth and taken in by a old couple." He said blandly, he didn't even seem bothered by saying his life story.

"Oh, almost my age. I'm 17, turned it in April." He said with a wide smile appearing on his face, his usually dead eyes seemed to sparkle with the new information he gained.

"Ah, anyway.. are we done yet?" Theo inquired, he wanted to leave since he really hated hospitals. "Yea, Tommy, pick Theo up again, we're heading back home. School can wait. We'll put him in a guest room for the time being. Alisha, you have the list right?" Astro asked as they started heading out of the room, all they needed was a check up and they can do the rest.

"Yup, ah, watch your step." Alisha commented when she saw a small step in the pathway. Tommy was holding Theo infront of them and the elevator wasn't far away.

They went back down to the ground floor before leaving, the lady who had helped them nodded towards them and continued with helping another patient.

They made their way back to their stylish car before heading back to the castle like home they grew up in.

It was only a 15 minutes drive back, Astro and Theo were in the back with complete silence and Alisha and Tommy were in the front talking non-stop.

Alisha guided Astro whilst walking behind Tommy who was carrying Theo again.
