Chap 23. I Accept!

They collapsed on the bed and cuddled, both feeling extremely satisfied.

Once again, the two lovebirds woke up to knocking, except it was now on Astro's door.

Of course, Astro was the first to wake up, and then shook Theo awake again and called out for Edith to hang on.

Edith fumed, imagine being told to hang on! So rude!

But she still did as told.

Astro proceeded to rushing Theo to get new and clean clothes from the closet. Theo was secretly happy that they were in Astro's room and not his own since they wouldn't be able to change if they were.

As Astro stripped the bed of its sheets and placed them all on the side to be washed, Theo was once again exasperating in disbelief at how wonderful the clothes were!

He was practically drooling!

A few minutes passed, and then more than a few minutes passed! Astro was sitting on the bed butt naked with the cold air splashing him in the face!

Astro finally snapped when Theo spent 10 minutes in the bloody closet! He mentally noted to never allow Theo in the closet when they need to hurry.

He made his way over the closet using the walls and upon entering he heard Theo muttering praises for the well designed clothing, he snorted and walked towards where Theo was currently singing praises.

"Can you please get out of your trance and pick something!" He asked with an impatient undertone, his voice broke Theo out of his trance like state and worry could be seen making its way onto his face.

"Oh shit, sorry sorry sorry! Edith will probably murder us for being late!" Theo placed his hands on each side of his face, fear started making its way into his bones.

"Hurry up!" Astro yelled, making Theo shudder and quickly nod.

Theo ran over to some matching white and black outfits, one outfit had a white shirt with black pants whilst the other had a black shirt with white pants, their style and material was both soft and smooth.

On the front of each shirt it had an adorable panda on it, one was munching on bamboo which said 'I Eat' on it whilst the other had an adorable pander on it sleeping whilst cuddling bamboo, it said 'I Sleep' on it.

Theo had remembered it because he wanted to match with Astro one day and this was just simply adorable!

Theo decided to wear the black shirt and white pants with the sleeping panda and proceeded to help Astro get dressed in the white shirt and black pants outfit.

It only took 5 minutes to get dressed and Theo quickly patted down Astro's bed hair before guiding him out of the room.

Edith was tapping her foot on the ground and grumbling curses when they finally got outside, her death stare clearly explained her feeling.

"Heya Edith~ You might need to clean the bedsheets heh" He commented with a shy smile on his face, he had never asked for his sheets to be cleaned and it was kind of weird.

When Edith heard what he said her mouth dropped in horror.

'Did.. did they.. MY POOR INNOCENT BOY!' Edith screamed internally, but deep in her heart she could only accept this, after all, which couple couldn't keep their hands off eachother when they first start dating!

She calmed herself, and turned to Theo as she acted as if she was cutting off her own head with her finger.

Theo clearly got memo and shivered as he nodded vigorously.

"Yes yes, let's go, dinner is waiting!" She acted as she always did as she lead them back to the dining room.

Upon entering the dining room, Theo saw Maria and Zachary seated in the same spot as last time, Alisha was also sitting the same spot so he just decided to go and sit in the same spot.

He lead Astro to the seat next to himself and sat down, he turned to Maria and thanked her for the meal.

"Oh, a boy who knows manners, Astro and Alisha could learn off you." Maria commented as she looked at her daughter who was playing COD on her phone as she ate her curry, she managed to snipe someone form far away and screamed 'Yes' which ended up with Maria boring a hole into her head with just her eyes.

Astro silently laughed since he knew what was happening since this has happened before, Theo held back his laughter too.

But he had to admit, that snipe was pretty immaculate!

Theo replied to Maria with, "No need to Maria, the only manners I know is to thank someone when they give you a delicious meal because we never know when that opportunity will come along again." He had a grateful smile on his face with a slight glow in his eyes, Maria and Zachary felt sad for the young boy but knew they couldn't do anything to change his past, but they could possibly change his future.

Maria had been thinking ever since their last encounter of ways she could help out Theo, she had considered adoptiong but soon discarded that thought.

Not because she didn't want Theo as a child but because she thought he may have feelings for Astro and it would be awkward to marry someone who was by law your brother.

You might be wondering how she knew Theo liked Astro, well a mother's intuition can be scary.

Plus, she had seen Theo making googly eyes at Astro previously without either of them knowing, she had completely approved of this relationship.

She did not care whether her son was gay or not, she just wanted him with someone he loved thats why she never tried to force him into marriage or set him up, she always went with the flow because she felt that fate was fate and pushing people together was not fate!

She knew Zachary didn't know because he was always oblivious to things like love but he did know his son was gay, he was also fine with it.

So, they decided on a different approach, they wanted Theo to get an education and go to school with Astro, he could also train in combat and learn how to fight.

In the end, they chose to make Theo Astro's private bodyguard, but he also wasn't bound to the title. Meaning, they could change it at anytime, it was just for now so if anyone asked that would be their excuse.

"Well, today I have something very important to talk with you about, it concerns your future and we hope you would accept our proposition." Maria started with a very serious expression on her face, she took peoples future serious and would never do anything that could hurt someone's future.

Theo could tell from her approach that this was very serious so he nodded and voiced out his confirmation for more information.

Zachary started speaking after Maria since she needed to eat before her own food got cold and said, "We thought of a position that could be changed in the future, of course we will pay for all the expenses and only ask of you to take this very seriously." Zachary stated very sternly, he was only making it clear on how important this was and that they would take care of all the money.

Theo slightly froze at the mention of money and felt he couldn't accept the proposal no matter what it was, he could never be able to pay them back!

Maria could see his small freeze and quickly comforted him, "Dont worry about the money, what you will be doing means more to us then the small amount of money."

Zachary nodded and continued with, "Yes, what we want is what more important since it involves our own blood."

Astro's ears perked up, he knew his father always said that when it involved his sister or himself.

"So, us?" Astro asked, Zachary confirmed.

"Theo, we would like you to get an education, but you will be with Astro at all times, we want you to also learn martial arts and hand to hand combat, learning how to use different weapons is also part of it." Zachary said, beating around the bush and not really explaining it very well, Theo had turned his head in confusion and Maria clicked her tongue.

"What Zachary is trying to say is, Will you be Astro's private bodyguard?" Unlike Zachary, Maria was straightforward with her approach and ripped the bandaid right off which made Zachary frown and turn to her.

"What? You're slow" She stated as she turned back to Theo.

Theo, who was currently in a trance from their proposition sat still.

He was in deep thoughts but that only lasted about 3 second before he suddenly stood up.

He bowed his head, and Maria instantly thought he was disagreeing, but unlike her thought Theo spoke in a loud, proud voice.

"I would be honoured to bodyguard Astro at all times! I would he glad to even be appointed this title and be getting experience out of this!" Theo loudly agreed.

Astro had slight tears in his eyes when he heard Theo's confirmation, Maria and Zachary instantly knew they chose the right person.
