Chapter 4 Tire

Three years later, in H City.

On the luxurious round stage of the Imperial Hall nightclub, a burly man was holding a microphone and singing at the top of his voice.

It was very noisy outside. Emily Briggs quickly took off her shoulder revealing dress in her private room, changed into casual pants and a shirt and shoes, and carried her bag out of the room.

She walked through the corridor and came to the parking lot from the back door.

Just as she opened the car door, there were hurried footsteps from behind, "Emily, where are you going?"

"Ms Carr hasn't been here for a few days. I'm worried about her and want to see her. "

"Boss Russell will be here soon. If you leave, how can I explain to him?" Her leader was obviously unhappy.

"Don't worry. I have already informed Boss Russell. You don't have to worry. "

Hearing her words, the unhappy expression on her leader's face disappeared. She put on an attentive smile and said, "It's so late. You went so far away by yourself, do you want me to send someone to protect you?"

"No need. " Emily Briggs refused.

"The wind is so strong, and the sky is so dark. Aren't you afraid by yourself?" Her leader tried to convince her.

"I'm not afraid" Emily Briggs smiled faintly. "You can go back. I'm leaving!"

Sacha Carr lived in a remote place. Because she was worried about her, Emily Briggs drove very fast. Unexpectedly, dazzling lightning started to flash across the sky one after another. In a short while, bean-sized raindrops hit the roof of the car and very quickly, it started to rain outside.

The rain was very heavy and Emily Briggs did not dare to drive the fast car. Instead, she slowed down the car and carefully moved forward in the rain fog. At first, she could still see the road clearly. Later on, the rain became heavier and heavier. The heavy rain seemed to want to drown the city. Emily Briggs did not dare to continue forward, so she found a place to stop and planned to wait for the rain to stop before walking.

But her luck was really too bad. She only heard a loud sound and her tire exploded.

This time, even if she wanted to, she could not leave. Emily Briggs sighed and took out her phone from her bag to call the female leader. "My tire exploded. Send a car to pick me up!"

"It's raining so heavily. How are you going to drive? Stay there and don't move. When the rain gets smaller, I will send someone over immediately. "

After hanging up the phone, Emily Briggs leaned against the car and stared blankly at the rainy fog. After about half an hour, the rain gradually became smaller.

However, the person the manager sent to pick her up had yet to arrive. Emily Briggs was somewhat irritated as she took an umbrella from the car. She opened the car door and prepared to go down to see what was going on.

Just as she got out of the car to open the umbrella, before she could take a closer look, she heard a noisy noise. Through the dense curtain of rain, Emily Briggs saw a group of strange and terrifying men appear at an intersection not far away from her.

They wore black suits and held weapons in their hands as they ran over murderously. . .

They had stayed in Imperial Hall for more than two years. She had heard a lot of stories. But seeing this scene with her own eyes still made Emily Briggs feel a little scared.

She turned around and wanted to get into the car to hide, but she did not expect a pair of hands to suddenly reach out behind her and cover her mouth.

Immediately following that, a deep and extraordinary magnetic voice sounded beside Emily's ear, "Do not make a sound!"

The sudden change scared Emily Briggs out of her wits and she subconsciously struggled.

As he spoke, he quickly dragged Emily Briggs into the car and closed the door.

After getting in the car, the man probably felt safe. He let go of Emily Briggs and reached out to drive.

Taking this opportunity, Emily Briggs saw a large patch of blood on the man's chest. Obviously, he was injured, and it was not light. Her trembling lips spat out four words, "The tire exploded!"

"Damn it!" The man cursed in a low voice. Just as he was about to open the car door and get out of the car, he saw the group of men in black getting closer and closer and immediately gave up.

He turned to look at Emily Briggs who was in the car. Their eyes met and Emily Briggs saw a pair of cold and emotionless eyes. She could not help but shiver.

She stretched out her hand in a panic and prepared to pull the car door, but it was a step too late.

The man grabbed her and lifted Emily Briggs onto his body.

The other hand quickly dropped the car lock and a cold and emotionless voice sounded,

"Cooperate with me, I will let you go, otherwise. . . "

Emily Briggs understood the subtext at the end. If she did not cooperate, the man would not let her go.

The fear made Emily Briggs unable to think in time. She only foolishly looked at the man under her. The man fiercely pressed down on her head and quickly used his lips to cover her mouth.
