The Flame Family was military family for generations thus they had accumulated several different Martial Skills in time .

The Mansion had one secret room which was only accessible to the Patriach . There all the books of Martial Skills were located along with some books containing the Family's history .

Inside the Patriach's study room , a peculiar formation was inscribed behind the only portrait hanging on the wall . A beautiful woman with oval face and long eyebrows was painted magnificently. Raven saw the painting and found the picture beautiful . No other emotion was included even though she was supposed to be the mother of Raven who died shortly after giving birth to him .

Raven pricked his finger with one small needle and dropped little blood at the wall behind the painting . Magically the solid wall became like liquid and after several ripples , the blood drop was absorbed into the wall . One second later , the wall was nowhere to be found and one open door replaced it .

Raven was marveled by the magic of Formations and decided to learn the art if he had the time and opportunity in future . He stepped inside the door and arrived inside a small room .

The door disappeared and the wall was back again . The Raven was only a few meters big and one peculiar picture of Blue Flame was painted on the wall . Near the wall several books were neatly placed inside the only bookshelf. The books were thick and had various titles but Raven was only interested in Martial Skills .

After spending time to browse through all the Martial Skills , Raven liked these three . All of them were simple to train but the data was huge and would take time to master these skills completely. Raven knew that these skills were of good rank thus was satisfied because he can train them until he gets some more excellent ones in future .

Raven used system to scan all the three books and exited the small secret room with a smile on his face . He had found the experience of many predesecors of Flame family so the training would go smoothly than he had thought before . He could not wait to train because he could become stronger and the soon he can consolidate his cultivation, the soon he can continue advancing .

The ring was always on his mind but Raven did not rush the system as he was told that it would take time to completely analyze the ring . Apparently this was a space treasure so Raven was not in a hurry . The system can analyze the artifact and gain data on refining which would provide beneficial in future. The lowest level space rings could be accessed with qi but the more advanced ones could only be accessed with Divine Sense . Raven had time before he could awaken Divine Sense after advancing to Foundation Realm.

Raven decided to train the skills at the Trainig Hall of the mansion . The hall was huge and had various equipment which can be used to train skills faster . Raven knew that he could master these only in real battles but first trainig here could help him grasping the basics .

The qi condensation realm was the most basic realm for cultivators. The refined qi not only get stored in the inner world but the qi is also used to temper the body of cultivators. Advancing each level is a painful process because Raven had to circulate his qi throughout his body to temper it . The effects were great as impurities were expelled from his body and strength increased substantially with each level .

Raven was Level 5 qi condensation cultivator but he had not tried to measure his strength yet . Raven did not have much interest in battles and he knew that he had no choice as for resources he had to battle with enemies . Thus the first thing Raven decided to do in the training hall was to test his body strenght with the Strength Pillar .

The pillar was wide and made of some sturdy materials . Formation was inscribed on it and the strenght behind punches and kicks could be displayed in number .

The average strength of Level 5 qi condensation cultivator was 1500 kilograms. Raven punched at the pillar with simple punch but it had all the strength from his lower body behind it .

Raven saw the number and was extremely delighted as he now clearly felt that enduring those painful cultivation sessions was worth it . With Qi the damage could become more and more vigorous and Raven felt excited when he thought about the pure fire qi he cultivated using Flame Elephant Art .

After thinking for a while , Raven decided to train Profound Finger first because the training method was simple and required no qi . Raven just had to endure pain because he had to harden his fingers through brute training. Raven chose this skill first because it was most simple and he was not afraid of pain after experiencing the burning pain all the time during his cultivation. The skill would be extremely beneficial for sneak attacks and did not take time or qi to activate the skill .

" Claw , please prepare good quality healing powder for me . I will need it to heal my fingers ! "

Claw smiled and immediately went to look for the powder because he was delighted that the young master finally showed interest in trainig. Such powders could be found in abundance inside the Mansion because Flame Family recieved them in heaps from the Empire every month . Soldiers need such simple powders and pills all the time because they suffer injuries during training and battles.

Soon Claw came rushing holding few jade bottles which gave off nice herbal scent. Raven immediately stored them inside inventory and started his training when Claw left the training hall for attending to other matters with a proud smile on his face .
