Mysterious Dragon Ring

The Silverwind City was huge as it was the second largest city in the Black Cloud Empire.

Commoners and Nobles lived here so naturally they lived in separate districts due to the indifference in status . The Core part of the city was where the Flame Mansion was located and Zhou lived at the end of Commoners District basically near the East Border. So the distance was quite far .

Fortunately Naito was rich thus both of the children secretly hired a beast carriage to travel easily . The Carriage was grand and popular among nobles because they could show off their wealth to others while riding on it .

Unlike normal horses, the horses which pulled the carriage were Star Horses and they were actually Level 1 beasts . They were the weakest of demon beasts but still had much more power which rivaled to that of early stage Qi Condensation cultivators. The beasts were popular because they were easy to tame and had very mild nature . The journey eneded in only about fifteen minutes because the speed of the carriage was too fast . The five meter long horses and their robust bodies were not for show after all .

The house was was not much as it was no different than a room sized hut. Zhou was currently watering the common plants near the entrance when Naito and Raven arrived .

" Old man , look Raven finally came this time! " Naito shouted near Raven's ears suddenly which was uncomfortable but Raven did not think much and shrugged it off as a child's behaviour .

" Kakaka.. Young master Raven finally decided to meet this old man ? So what story do you want to hear this time? Fights or Tomb expedition ? " Zhou gave the vibe of typical old man with deep voice and Raven also did not find anything different from normal .

He was confused because it was different from the memories but system's sudden comment excited Raven and he completely discarded the previous thoughts .

Zhou wore shabby plain robes and one black ring on his finger . It was not standing out much but system said that the ring was a high level treasure !

His leg and cultivation were both crippled beyond repair now . His forehead was sweating from pressure but Raven's comment finally made him relax .

Hearing the excited tone in Raven's voice, Zhou instantly believed it as his current mental state was incapable of analyzing the words and try to find anything suspicious.
