"You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her. The change in demeanor

"I think he didn't plan on telling us anything from the very beginning," Henry said feeling betrayed.

"And who was the one who always talked about escaping altogether?" He looked at Merry intently, waiting for an answer.

Merry looked down, feeling ashamed. "He and I both did," she admitted softly, "and I believe that he didn't mean to hide anything from us, let alone escape by himself without telling us."

"You don't think so but Merry he has already done so. He left us behind." Henry let out a deep sigh and ran his hand through his hair.

"We need to find a way to track him down," Merry said.

"Why would we find him?" asked Henry, looking confused. "He betrayed us, Merry."

"Still we need to find his motivations for doing what he did," replied Merry.

"Let's suppose we find the reason, then what?" asked Henry skeptically. "Isn't it better not to know and move on rather than to be hurt even more?"
