Getting slapped in the face

"What are we waiting for?" Mrs. Miller said as soon as she saw Mr. Rogers.

"I couldn't go back to retrieve the thing you told me about from my office earlier. So I have sent the guards to bring it back. Wait a bit, as soon as they come back we will make our departure." Mr. Rogers assured her.

"Are we just going to let them get their hands on the crucial evidences? They will know everything once they search the whole building, our researches, progress, objectives, everything." Mrs. Miller expressed her worries to Mr. Rogers.

"We have to ditch the car. You should also get in the van." Mr. Rogers suggested Mrs. Miller and continued answering her.

"We couldn't stop them from finding us. But they are not going to walk out from here unhinged. I am not going to let the whole world know about our purpose. More importantly, not just yet. When I will let the world know about my work, it will be a complete one, not half functioning."
